Amazing food. We had a variety of entrees and each dish was superb. Recommend to anyone. Friendly staff. Just make a reservation to be sure you get in!! Worth it

The food, service, and atmosphere were wonderful. We’ve been to the restaurant for ramen many times! This time we came to celebrate my husband’s bday with 6 friends and made a reservation at 7 pm. We ordered appetizers to share , several bottles of wine and entrees for everyone, then dessert. Unfortunately we felt very rushed and it took away from the overall experience. We were barely served dessert when the host warned us that there was another party waiting for our table. She was polite but informed us that we would need to finish our meal in 10 minutes because of the next reservation. All said our 3-course meal was slam-bam done and we were hustled out the door in less than 1 ½ hours. Very fast for a table of 6. Open Table should inform larger parties about the length of time for a reservation in the confirmation notice. In the future I would not return to Tanoshii with a group.

Great little spot for ramen in downtown Bozeman. Would recommend to anyone even thinking about going to try them out. They recently celebrated their 2 year anniversary, hope they continue for many more.

As always, great food and service. We’re repeat customers, and Tanoshii’s is one of our favorite places. Chef Austin is a nice and very friendly person to meet. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Delicious Japanese comfort food driven by fundamental French technique. Everything is handled with care and attention to detail. Both BOH and FOH crews take pride in what they do. It translates into every aspect of this restaurant. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options as well! An absolute must for anyone in or passing through Bozeman.

I shared three items with another person, which was plenty for the two of us but the portions are not that big for the prices. The okonomiyaki waffle is my favorite. The brussel sprouts were a little too salty and the sweet potato was delicious. On another note, we asked our server several times to turn down the music and it would be a little lower for a short time and then get super loud again which made it almost impossible to have a conversation. The server said that the cooks were turning it up. The place is very small and having loud music playing really lessened the quality of our experience.

This was our first visit, but won't be our last. The food was absolutely amazing, with the handroll being one of the best bites of food I've ever had.

Bridget, our server, was fan-effing-tastic. She gave us a delightful evening, was super attentive, just totally on her game, and super nice. She's amazing - I would highly recommend Tanoshii, and if Bridget is on your table for the night, you're gonna have an awesome time.
