Poor and disorganized service. It looks like all the servers just stated tonight with no supervision of a manager. We asked for a bottle of Champagne. They did not have it and suggest a Cava instead. The wine was open at the bar. The server did not ask us to try it. When we did it was very warm. We asked for some ice and she brought us few cubes of ice in a glass. Clearly she had no idea of how to serve wine properly. The food was ok. Not particularly good or inventive. They brought the wrong dishes and had to change it. They very nice but as said they need to improve.

When we walked in the restaurant there was strange smell of toilet all over. We could not sit down as it appeared very unhygenic. The kitchen is visible and the chefs were talking loudly. When we asked about the smell the staff ignored it. While we walked out we noticed the dirty mop lying outside the restroom that was the source of the smell. The smell was so strong that one cannot sit in the restaurant.

Cosy and warm spot on a cold night. Delicious food with an impressive wine list and yummy cocktails! The Bindhi masala was some of the best I've had!

we’ve eaten at tandul a number of times and really really enjoy it! at this stage of the game, though, i would hope they would have either hired a bartender who knows how to put together a simple vodka and tonic or simply just serve wine and beer. would never stop me from coming back but was frustrating to try and order a drink and then still received some crazy concoction!!

We have never had a bad meal at Tandul. We won't go to any other Indian restaurant in Cleveland. Great mixture of spices, food is very flavorful!

Tandoor was broken. Not told this until we ordered. Then were asked to change the dishes. Food was hot and appeared fresh but the staff should have let us know before sitting down.

Our server was very pleasant, but there are a few things that need to be addressed: ALWAYS bring the bottle of wine to the table UNOPENED. Our server brought our wine already uncorked... not good form. If she hadn't been so sweet, I probably would have asked her to bring another bottle and open it in front of us. Also, when pouring wine DO NOT fill the glass to the brim. When she started pouring, she got to half a glass and was going to keep going. I asked her to stop, and she clearly didn't understand why, but thought I just didn't want much wine. Note to management: TRAIN your staff on how to present wine! To wine lovers, that's so important.
