   We were on a cruise that wasn’t scheduled to leave until late and we wanted to do something different than the restaurants on the ship. Being big fans of teppanyaki we found Tanaka and booked on OT. Arrived on time and were promptly seated at a table. Nick, our server brought us water and sake and took our order. Shortly thereafter Cameron, our chef, started our dinner. He was a lot of fun and made the evening enjoyable. As always, there was a lot of food and it was all delicious. The sauces that accompanied the meal were great, but on the salty side. The restaurant is lively and the meal moved along at a good pace. Dessert of ice cream was a nice way to finish. We are so glad we decided to venture out. Tanaka has a few locations, but if you are in the A La Moana Center definitely enjoy a meal there. RECOMMENDED!

   Very accommodating, friendly service! Server and Chef were outstanding. Food was delicious and portions were very generous. Great choice

   Ricko was an amazing chef. I would highly recommend his skills to anyone looking for a perfect dinner show, especially kids

   The tables are old and the veneer in the wood is worn. The cook was entertaining but the prices were excessive, even for Honolulu and the food was average.

   Went for my 21st birthday last night, and it was so fun! Such an entertaining dining experience. The drinks were so delicious, we tried the blue hawaii, the lava flow, the piña colada, and the strawberry daiquiri. Pricey for sure, but honestly the value is good. Thank you to the staff last night and our chef Christian :)

   I didn’t realize how much the prices went up. Definitely a splurge meal. It was ok this time. I thought it was better before or maybe it just depends on the chef. The experience is always entertaining but again, depends on your chef.

   As usual on our yearly visit to Oahu, tanaka’s delivered another great experience. More than 10 years of visits and the brand remains very consistent. Food quality is excellent. Chef entertainment also amusing and engaging for the young ones. Politeness and service is at the higher end and as expected for American cuisine. Finally, value and quality for money is easily five stars.

    予約をして伺いました。 店内は沢山の観光客のお客様がいらしてました。また、あちこちでバースデーソングをスタッフの方が歌われており、地元の方々も特別な日に来られてるようです。目の前の鉄板でパフォーマンスしながら調理して下さり、大変楽しく美味しくいただきました。 またカメラスタッフがおり、ポーズを変えながら数枚写真撮影。1枚$20です。記念にと思われる方は購入されると良いと思います。
