Tana is an upscale Italian restaurant drawing from local Chef Michael Gulotta's New Orleans Sicilian upbringing as well as his time training in the Liguria region of Italy.

Experience cocktails in our comfy lounge with jewel toned plush booths and ambient lighting. Dine in the classically Italian styled main room with wood beams or The Villa, which is light and airy with lots of natural light, as if you're dining al fresca on the Sicilian coast.

    I took my wife here for an early Mother’s Day gift. Chef and his team never disappoint. We arrived at Happy Hour, the cocktails were delicious well priced. After some time at the bar we made our way to the table and ordered. Our server was attentive and friendly. Our food from appetizer to dessert was absolutely perfect. We had the crab bruschetta (a new and extremely tasty item), oysters bordelaise (we order it everything we go), cheese wheel pasta with shrimp for her, and the Wednesday night special Brucheluna (forgive the spelling, I know it’s wrong) for me. My grandmother would make this and chef took me back to my childhood with a perfectly rendered version of it. Desert recommendations are the Tartufo, a sphere of chocolate containing pistachio gelato and marscapone truffle gelato drizzled in a strawberry compote. Also the Bondido, a dark chocolate cake with orange marmalade. Both amazing. If you haven’t been go, I’ve you been you know. Until next time Chef!

    Had a very good Birthday dinner here. It was only my 2nd time for dinner but definitely better than the first time I visited.

    What a lucky find!! I was having outpatient surgery in the morning and we stayed near the hospital due to how early I had to report. Looked for a place to eat that was well rated but not too far away from the hotel. Landed on Tana and we've not stopped talking about it since! We ate in the bar (our choice) and if anything, we had even more attentive service due to this. The menu offered something for everyone and the wine list held it's own. We split the tasty meatball appetizer with toasted focaccia made in house. It would have been enough to be a main meal for one with a salad. The hubs had the veal cannelloni and I had the veal parmigiana. I toke home half my meal! The portions are hearty. The bread they served was very disappointing after the focaccia despite being made in house as well. We shared a dessert -- a deconstructed tiramisu -- interesting but would try something different when we go back, which we surely will!!!

    Went to celebrate birthday. Cocktails tasty but very small considering the price. Ordered the seafood stuffed pork chop. The pork chop was tasty but had no seafood stuffing. The server agreed that it was not right and took it back to kitchen. The server said that they had not stuffed the pork chops that night and encouraged us to order something else. Menu is very limited and we do not eat veal so ended up ordering a filet which was $20 more than the pork chop. Filet was okay, but not stellar. Manager came over and said that the pork chop we received was the only one not stuffed and apologized. When we got the bill they had taken the pork chop off and charged us for the more expensive mediocre filet dinner. Overall was disappointed and felt like it was a bait and switch. Really think that the management thinks they are more upscale and special than they really are. Sad part is that I live within walking distance of the restaurant and would go frequently if I felt that it provided great quality at a fair price.
