This has always been our favorite “go to” Chinese restaurant, and they didn’t disappoint this time around. We got our requested large round table, and our group on 9 enjoyed sharing the various selections from the lazy Susan. We loved supporting this place during these trying Corona times. Food and service were up to their usual high level. The owner expressed thanks to us for coming out. A most enjoyable evening!!!

A very good experience as always at Tai Pan. The restaurant was much emptier than usual - effects of coronavirus suppressing the clientele - so our food arrived even quicker than usual. Service was friendly and attentive. One of our dishes was a little too salty but otherwise all good. The twice cooked honey spare ribs are our favorite dish.

The quality of food here never disappoints. We always order a few things off of the Dim Sum menu and then a few things off of the regular menu. The food is always delicious. It is not inexpensive. However it is worth the splurge.

Dim sums were superb. lobster with Eu Fu noodle 🍜 bland and pricey $55 lacking flavor. tried once won’t be ordering the next time but will return for the dim sum. Best time to come is when it opens at 11am after that long waits

In one word - Sloppy. We were sitted 30 minutes past our reservation time, without even a small apology. Soup arrived luke warm, entrées arrived slowly at the same temperature. All this for $150 for 4 people. Avoid.

Been here many times. Tonight service was abysmal. Had to ask for items several times and the wait staff was just scatterbrained and inattentive. Food was great as usual but service was awful.

Super expensive for regular dim sum. It costs double for similar dim sum somewhere else. Koi palace has more delicious dim sum than this place. And I always Thought Koi is expensive but this place costs more with less desired food. Would prefer somewhere else next time.

The restaurant is pristine clean, expertly laid out with white table cloths and traditional contemporary Chinese decor. The staff is friendly, and extremely customer accommodating. Two hour parking is available and situated practically next door to the restaurant. But best of all, the cuisine is par excellence. To have access to such exquisitely prepared Chinese cuisine in a suburb of Palo Alto CA is absolutely fabulous. The variety of the dishes offered on the menu, the presentation of the dishes, and best of all, the delicious and superbly delectable taste of the food is what earns this restaurant the five (5) star rating! Excellent preparation of the food; everything is freshly prepared; superb chef and staff.
