Tahk Omakase is located on Lincoln Street in the heart of beautiful downtown Steamboat Springs.
We offer the best sushi you will find in Steamboat and beyond. Open Tuesday-Saturday at 5pm.

Reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are welcome.
We offer regular tables, high-tops, sushi bar seats, and our community high-top bar.
Please visit tahksushi.com or OpenTable to book reservations and view our menus.
You will confirm with a secure credit card link.

We appreciate timely arrival for your reservation, we can only hold tables for 10 minutes.
We will do our best to accommodate your party but cannot guarantee a table.

We will not be answering the phone during our busy dinner service, we will likely check next business day, or we will check OpenTable DM. Take-out will be limited depending on the capacity of our restaurant.

In the case you don't cancel the reservation within 24 hours, your card will be charged $25pp.

Omakase Tasting is offered for a 5pm and 7:30 prompt seating times, Tuesdays-Saturdays. This is a true one-of-a-kind dining experience without booking a ticket to Japan, you'll be paired with a talented Sushi Chef at the Omakase Bar where you will be served each of the 12- chef's choice courses. During this 2-hour dinner you will learn about the intricacies of fresh fish and seafood from around the world. This is offered Tuesday-Saturdays only. The sushi bar is limited to 10 seats, and this is at the sushi bar. If your Omakase party is over 8 people, please call to reserve. To reserve go to "EXPERIENCE" in Open Table or reserve through the 5 pm or 7:30 timeslot and choose "OMAKASE 12-COURSE" or call 970-439-0444.

Did not honor our open table reservation or apologetic that they didn’t have a real table for us. Service was off hand and inattentive. Many of the menu items were unavailable. Very disappointing

Super delicious, fresh, and great service. Excellent wines by the glass too. Worth the high price for sure.

The Omakase experience is amazing. Make sure you book it in advance because it sells out almost every time. We love it so much. We go every time we’re in town. The chef/owner truly is incredibly talented and we look forward to our next trip to Steamboat for the sushi!

Tahk was our chef and was fantastic! We had the whole experience and it was worth every penny of it. We will go back!

This was our first time here and it was absolutely amazing! They had such fun specialty roll options and a great sashimi/nigiri menu. Super nice atmosphere I like that the seating is downstairs. Will have to try the Omakase experience next time!

My gf has a soy allergy. I wish they would have told us how that would have impacted the dish, before we got it. Also they made a mistake and put soy on one of our dish’s. We still paid for it.

Great food and experience. It is expensive but worth every penny. Our chef told us all about the fish we were eating and the presentation was amazing.
