Going to the oldest restaurant in San Francisco is an event and sitting in the old booths makes for a cosy dinner where conversation is easy. The staff and service were excellent, but the food was disappointing and not up to the standards of such an iconic restaurant.

Service not friendly at all. We stayed at the counter and the waiter was very impatient with us. Not going back!

We had a table ,in the front, three away from the front door. The cold draft for the opening of the front door was a little too chilling. The door is automatic and stays open longer than it should.

I was first introduced to Tadich Grill 53 years ago, and the food, service over all restaurant experience was superb. It has been that long since I dined there, and everything was just as wonderful as he first time! If you want to get the full “San Francisco experience” you must visit! I would give it 10 ⭐️’s if I could.

Fabulous Tadich special app, broiled swordfish meal, cocktails and wine. Loved our server… just there 4 months, would have guessed years. Such a SF classic

Food was great. Wine list was also great. No veggie substitutions with the steak which was a bummer. Server was a little rude.
