We’ve brought our modern twist on “comida de la calle”—Mexican street food—to a sit-down restaurant with an expanded menu and a selection of quality, small-batch tequila and whiskey as well as award-winning cocktails and desserts. We still believe in using local products while staying true to authentic regional recipes—we specialize in making the absolute best street tacos anywhere.
So come in and see what everyone’s talking about, grab one of our award-winning tacos and sip on a drink from our extensive list of tequila, whiskey and (again) award-winning cocktails.

I called about a reservation a week in advance and I was told to make two reservations for four people each to accommodate eight of us. When we arrived they would not do this for us so we did not sit together. The food was fine, not great. And we were told right away that we had 90 minutes. This does not seem like a friendly way to welcome guests back to inperson dining. Our server was great but the rest of the experience was mediocre.
Yummy tacos, except for the pork belly. So tough or fatty I couldn’t even cut it. I appreciated that when I made the reservation, I was able to choose either inside or outside. The service was excellent.
We had a reservation outside and when it started to rain they were able to accommodate us inside, but were not particularly nice about it. In fact, they said, "You need to be done in an hour." After an hour, where we spent $165 for 4 of us, they told us we needed to leave because they had other people coming. Meanwhile the bar was 75% empty, and there were a handful of other empty tables and no one at all waiting.
When we arrived, there was another party of 2 who had made reservations but arrived a few minutes late and were told they could NOT seat them anywhere, including the bar. Yet the hour we were there, there were many empty tables and the bar had only a couple of people. I can understand that because of the dining limitations with the pandemic, they want to turn over tables quickly, but when I spent (with tip) nearly $200 for dinner, I expect to be able to sit for a few minutes and enjoy visiting with my friends, especially when it is very obvious no one is waiting for our table!
This has been one of my favorite restaurants in the past 5 years, I was a little disappointed that we were seated at a table in the back by the kitchen. This part of the restaurant was not the cleanest or the most inviting. The food was good, but not what I was accustomed to. The carne asada taco was cold, however the pollo agave and the pork belly were still excellent.
Lovely waitstaff. Delicious food, loud environment. Fun Friday night!
Beautiful Friday evening before an Av’s game. Sat outside. We told our server our time constraints and no problem at all. All the food was top quality as usual. Always consistent, timely and tasty. The best tacos in town.
I thought the service and food was great. Being in the back parking lot though lost some of the ambience of the having a night out.
Excellent as always. Tried the Brussels sprouts and they were stupid good. This is our go to taco place that we’ve been frequenting for years so we’ll definitely be back.
TTW is one of my favorite places to eat in Denver. The tacos are amazing! My favorites are the barbacoa and carnitas. Great guacamole and margs too!!
As always...great food, service and Margaritas!
Service here is always so awful. It seems like everything is an inconvenience to the server. I love the food but the service at ALL locations is so poor, that it honestly so bad that is makes me not want to go anymore. Which sucks because there is no food like it.
This is my favorite place for tacos. They have so much flavor and never disappoint. I love the different salsas they have to go with the chips too. The one with the habanero and onion is kind of different, at first, then it gets addictive, then super hot!! But love it.
Tasty tacos. Delicious salsa. Unique queso.
Great location, great food, great service! Would highly recommend if you're looking for a fun night out in the Highlands area.
Great good and great service. Always a fun atmosphere.
The food was good but the 1 hour time cap was not enough time. I had to scarf down my second taco in order to clear the table in time and I wasn't able to order a second drink. I understand that you need to make room for new diners, but it came at the cost of me not wanting to return.
Great food and I love the new tents outside. We we very warm and comfortable. Our server was wonderful, but the host was quite rude.
Took out of town guests for lunch. We ate outdoors in a repurposed parking lot so ambience was not the greatest, but we preferred that to indoor dining for safety reasons. Food and service were outstanding.
The food and drinks were good. However, our table was sat 20 minutes late. Once we were sat, we were told “it’s now or never” if we wanted to order food, as their kitchen was already closing (around 9pm). We ate and enjoyed the food and drinks but were asked to pay the tab and leave immediately after we finished eating.
The next day, we looked at our bank statement and we’re charged 2x the bill total. We contacted the restaurant and were told we would receive a response within 24 hours. It has now been 48 hours with no response.
Servers seemed cranky this particular evening but it wasn’t a big deal. I mean, it’s a pandemic so...
All the tacos are great, but the churro is one of a kind
I love everything about this place.
The server who sitting us asked if we had our vaccines. We answered. He replied, " I wondered because people as old as you normally don't come here. Little insulting. Maybe teach him a little about talking to the public.
We’ve loved coming here for many years! The food was good as always and the staff friendly and helpful. Only downside was that due to COVID the menu is reduced in size and our favorite two tacos are no longer on the list! That being said all their tacos are amazing - best street tacos around. Hope they bring the full menu back once everything is back to normal.
We came from AZ to come to TTW because our Phoenix location closed and the Hongos is our favorite taco ever. The food was beyond amazing and did not disappoint. I came with a group of 4 and we ordered 20+ tacos between us, but the kitchen really seemed to struggle to get the orders out correctly. This was frustrating on top of the hour dining limit as we were constantly having to tell our server which tacos were missing. She was incredibly sweet handling it, but given the time limit, the whole experience felt so rushed and I would have enjoyed getting to enjoy our dinner longer. For $150 I think you can give people 90 minutes.
The food was fantastic and the serving staff was welcoming. Such a great reprieve. Thank you for another great experience!
Double date. Splitting checks was an issue, and then when done it was wrong and the other party paid a lot more on their bill so we had to Venmo to settle the difference. Extremely rushed with a 1-hour time frame to eat and a near-empty restaurant. Rushed service - could hear them talking about us leaving soon. Forgot the salsas we ordered….not good service.
Delicious! Great ambiance, service, food and drinks
I love this place! Specifically this location. However, this time was the worst experience I have ever had. I’ve seen this restaurant more busy in the past and have had better service than we got today. I waited 10+ minutes for 3 tacos while the rest of our table enjoyed their food. By the time I got my food everyone was almost done with their food. I got the same order as another guest in our party (there was only three of us dinning). Our server dropped their food and never even said “hey, your food will be out in a few minutes.” Nothing. Communication in this situation could have resolved me writing this bad review. At the time we were there there were 5 tables with three servers. I had to ask another server if she could check on my food. Not impressed with the service AT ALL. Disappointed to say the least.
Perfect! Excellent food!
Love this place!
Great experience. Ran a few minutes late for our reservation and host was super accommodating. Server was awesome, gave great tequila recommendations for my picky date. Tacos were wonderful and a little overstuffed - be prepared to get messy!
As good as always. The consistency is appreciated and now they are serving the burritos. Who I could ask for more?
Great. I loved the food. The Coin Marg was fantastic. The servers were attentive yet not annoying. It was a good experience. I can't wait to go back Post-COVID and sit on the patio.
I really wanted to like this place... but the steak burrito was downright gross. Mushy grey meat, flavor was not good. The deep fried chicken taco was good for one bite, then too sweet to finish. If it was just a little agave it might work, but it was overwhelming. Really had the vibe of trying to hard with the food. Queso had a decent flavor but was too stringy and messy trying to eat it.. half the dish shouldn't be hard stuck to the cast iron serving dish, need a better American cheese queso. This place should be killing it but, unfortunately nope
Dined in an outdoor tent, it was great.
We dined in the Eskimo tents and it was totally fabulous!
Our favorite taco place in Denver! The queso fundido is a must, and all of the tacos are amazing. Add the Ancho Reyes verde to your margarita - so good!
Excellent place to eat and drink. Pork belly and pollo agave are out of this world.
An hour time limit is too short. We barely finished our meal in time and we were given an extra 15 minutes because we asked the server
