This was my 50th birthday celebration and it was so fun. The food was interesting and delicious. The waitstaff was well timed and very friendly and knowledgeable. I love the concept and the execution was perfect!
Fabulous experience.. every course delicious!
Quite the experience! Great food served in a family style large table where you meet new people. 8 fabulous courses, but wonderfully cooked and served
It was a lovely evening with delicious food. However the noise level was off the rails. We did really enjoy the dinner and experience. Keep up the deliciousness.
Great food, good company, and really personable, efficient service! I can see how the experience could be affected by the other people who attend, but we were lucky. Come with a good, open-minded attitude, be friendly, and you’ll have a fun evening!
Uncomfortable small metal chairs. Crowded, very little elbow room. The noise level was so high that we could not hear each other talking. Very disappointing as my brother was visiting from out of town and we were unable to have a conversation
Food was very good but there was just too much of it.
Amazing. Simply amazing. This was my first visit, as a party of 8 to celebrate a birthday. Went for Sunday Supper and was a little nervous the portions would be small and not enough. Boy was I wrong. We all ate like kings and queens. Also I never thought I could enjoy breaded chicken so much - there is some kind of magic going on in the kitchen here. It was to die for. Best meatball I’ve ever had, and the gnocchi are truly like fluffy pillows. Everything was perfect. Excellent drinks, attentive wait staff, a ton of friendly people, and some of the best food I’ve ever eaten, anywhere. Jen stopped by quick to visit with everybody on her way out - which was a nice touch. 10/10. Will be back asap!
Everything about this place is amazing. The food is delicious..the wine was great..really fun sitting family style and actually talking with the other diners...Jen Royle rocks!!!
The Table is a unique experience that is perfect for those that enjoy fine cuisine and meeting new people. The food was exquisite, the atmosphere was super friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed the family dining style. The attention to detail was outstanding - from the sorbet palate cleanser, to the unique paper towel holder in the restroom. The ambiance is unmatched - we will certainly be back.
One of the best dinner experiences we’ve ever had. Many courses served family style with plenty of food to go around. You’ll leave stuffed of amazing food and with new friends.
It was a great time. The meal was fantastic.
This was an incredible restaurant. We went for the Sunday Supper and everything was excellent from start to finish. We loved the family style setting, and the way it was served- it really felt like we were in Jen Royle’s dining room in her home. The ricotta gnocchi was so light and fluffy, the meatballs and chicken were perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth delicious. We can’t wait to go back with friends!
The food was good but served family-style, that is in dishes that the diners served to each other. It would be nice to have had fresh plates between courses or serve more of the wonderful bread, hat was on e table when we arrived, to mop up the juices before a new dish was served. Service was fast when one considers we had six courses plus desert in just over 2 hours. What is unique about Table is the seating where diners are put together at two long tables. We were lucky in that we were placed next to interesting dining companions and we enjoyed a lively conversation throughout the meal. We were glad to have experienced Table but it was an expensive evening for food that was good but could have been enjoyed at many other North End restaurants for less.
Really cool concept, really great food! What an awesome night!
Great food, great service, great vibe. Every dish on the Sunday Feast was superb.
Amazing food that everyone in our friend group loved. Also had plenty of space to sit and enjoy our time together. Prices are reasonable and we will definitely be back!
Our visit was 12/21/2019 - all 9 courses were excellent! It was just my wife and I as a Christmas gift to each other, and we were seated next to another couple and the 4 of us spent the night chatting and eating as though we were old friends. The courses were perfectly spaced leaving enough time to eat whatever wonderful dish was presented without feeling rushed.
We will most definitely be back next time we are in Boston later this year. As for the few negative reviews, maybe they were eating someplace else - those experiences were not anything close to what we enjoyed.
Thanks to Jen and her staff for a very memorable evening.
Loved the atmosphere and food (read their description) it's loud and boisterous. The only complaint I had was the coffee served was luke warm. Definitely another visit is in our future!
We all loved this family style dining. We were a group of 5 so we didn’t really interact with other diners. That being said our neighbors were very nice. Pace yourself. At first glance you might think it’s not a lot of food but once you get to the 5th or 6th course you find yourself slowing down a bit. Each course was excellent. Although they have menus at the table we got excited for each new course. I have been on a mission to find good bread in the North End for years and we finally found it!! The servers were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back. Book your reservation early as it sells out quickly.
The Table is outstanding!! Second visit !! Everything about is top notch . The food is succulent!!! I will be there for Sunday supper next.
Food was incredible, the servers were friendly, one of the best dining experiences of my life!
One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had. Absolutely fantastic food and a really great atmosphere. Very different and unique. I would highly recommend to anyone
Wonderful experience, food was delicious!
Amazing food. Fun time but very loud.
This is the most unique dining experience my wife and I have had. It almost feels like you’re dining at Jen Royle’s super nice house. The staff members are awesome. The food is top level... seriously the best gnocchi I’ve ever eaten. So light and soft with amazing robust flavors in the sauce. It’s best to be really hungry when you go. They throw a lot of food at you. And it’s impossible not to get to know the others at your table outside your party. Can’t wait to take the family here when they come visit next. Well done Jen and staff!
WOW! What a delicious evening.. I went to table with 9 others for my birthday and it was everything and more. The food was delicious and the severs were prompt and very helpful when ever you needed something! There’s a lot of food so take your time and enjoy a bit of each plate! Definitely take home what you can’t finish! My favorite was the homemade gnocchi 🤤.
Ten out ten would recommend. Thank you Jen!
One of the best meals I have had! I will be coming back.
Been wanting to try Table for a while now and also have been dying for a good red sauce Italian meal, so low and behold, Sunday Supper called our names. Around quarter past we had wine in hand and the food started rolling. And once it started, it didn't stop. Fresh bread to start. Soft inside, crunchy outside. Perfect. Popovers next...but Jen didn't like how they came out so gave us a burrata and tomato salad to snack on. Again, delicious. Fresh basil and tomatoes. So good. Popovers 2.0 came out better and were delicious. Very light and airy and warm. Next? Salad. Nice arugula salad with a light dressing. It was dressed so good. Just the right amount to give it flavor but not heavy in the least. Wine glass is empty...but the staff is so attentive and friendly that it barely hit the table before it was full again. More on this later. Now comes what I am waiting for. Meatballs, cutlets and gnocchi. All I can say is wow. Meatball was softball sized and swimming in a pool of delicious sauce. It was beyond moist. How she keeps them binded together and that moist is a work of art. Cutlets. How many cutlets have we had that are greasy and covered in sauce? Too many. Not these. Crispy and fresh. There was sauce on the side but they were so moist that it was just even needed. Then the star of the show. Gnocchi. I probably had 10 total and wasn't even feeling them. I ended up having 2 more as we were finishing because I couldn't stop myself. They are worth going there for alone. Throw in everything else, and this place is a gem.
Finally a cannoli and some limoncello to top it all off. Pro tip though: Order a coffee or cappuccino and it comes with homemade biscotti...win win! This really was the best North End meal I have had in decades and told Jen that as she came up to see how everything was. Sitting at the tables was great too. So laid back and accommodating. The staff was beyond attentive and had great personalities. Felt like I was home with family. Love this place!
Great concept, fantastic food. Bring your extra stomach and your social butterfly self. You will not be disappointed.
Great night out and a fun change of pace for us on Halloween. Love Table’s rotating menu and met some really fun families to share the evening with. Special occasion not required, but do bring an appetite.
What a fun experience! Was so happy to have finally made it here while celebrating my husband's birthday. Was not disappointed. Loved every course, most especially the Chicken Madeira and the Zeppoli dessert! And they graciously served some birthday Tiramisu! We were lucky enough to be there on a Wednesday night when it was not fully booked and had a wonderful and intimate dinner. Jen has a fabulous thing going and I'm so glad its going well. Diners should be fully aware before they go that 1. You will be enjoying a fabulous multi course dinner with strangers that will no longer be strangers at the end of the evening and 2. You will be served a pre-set menu that continues to change slightly. You will not go away hungry! Excited for our next visit!
Sunday supper is lovely.
Absolutely phenomenal experience! Each course was incredible and it is very rare to encounter a waitstaff who were so friendly and accommodating. We came with out 4 week old son and the staff and Chef went above and beyond to make us feel accommodated and welcome. Can’t wait to go back again and again!
Great food but the experience was ruined by the noise level. It was so loud that I couldn’t hear everyone in my party of 4. After 3 hours I had a throbbing headache and couldn’t wait to get the bill so I could leave and go somewhere quieter.
The experience was awesome, food outstanding and Jen is a rock star.
