We sat on the patio for brunch at 11:15 and it was pretty warm. Great atmosphere and music on the patio though so we overall enjoyed it. The service could have been better but the food was so delicious it made up for it. The chicken fry with the bacon green chili gravy was SO delicious. They have the crispy batter down perfect! The huevos rancheros were also amazing, very flavorful!
We had a great evening with Friends. Food was good. .
Truly was no my best steaks . My wife loved it also
We have ate Las Brisas many times, which is basically a sister restaurant to this establishment, and have always been very impressed. This establishment, however, offers a more casual, trendy approach to dining, but definitely has its drawbacks. The first thing is this would be a great place to go and drink with your friends, but as far as cleanliness and quality of food goes, it is lacking. The table and seating (high top chairs/booth) were both dirty when we arrived, but we overlooked it and went ahead with our reservation. We ordered the appetizer sample to start, and it was very good. As for entrees, my husband had the Chicken Fried New York Strip, with mashed potatoes, and green beans. He was pleasantly surprised at this. I had the Steak Chimichurri with broccolini and asparagus. I told the waitress (she was amazing by the way) that I would take the chef's recommendation on the cooking of it (medium or medium rare-- which she told me would be medium rare); the meat went from medium well, to medium rare, and then back to medium well. There was a great deal of gristle, so that was disappointing, and the meat was tough, overall. The highlight for me was the brocollini and chimichurri sauce. We may return in the future, but we will definitely be trying something else.
It was our daughter’s birthday and she selected this as where she wanted to eat. We had an excellent meal & experience. Brock was a very nice and attentive waiter. We will certainly be back.
Amazing food, drink, service and atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!
Loved the live music! Food and drinks were sooo good! Had a great time
It was a great experience. Calm and collected atmosphere. Service was good. Food was good, wine selection was great
Server was great. Food was quick and delicious!
My wife and I went with our 12 and 21 year old daughters for our 20th anniversary. It’s perfect family spot. There’s something on the menu for everyone.
Great place for drinks and dinner. We can’t testify to their indoor dining space, but their patio is amazing. Beautiful view of a lake, plus plenty of space without feeling cramped.
Great food and awesome service. Definitely will be back.
Anniversary. Shrimp and lobster were over done making them tough and rubbery. We have gone here before and had the same items and they were much better prepared.
Table was dirty. Ask the hostess to clean. Still dirty. Waitress took care of the problem. Idea and concept should work but execution is off. High end idea with medium level food and dining experience. Just my opinion. Good luck.
Took family and was surprise food was much improved over the last Brisas Seafood experience. We ordered 5 different appetizers and all were great! I cannot remember our servers name but she was great and accommodating!
The Choice of menu items was fantastic… we were happy to see a great menu.. Had a little trouble with service probably due to this whole Covid 19… would recommend
My husband and I were there on a Friday night with two other couples. We had a table on the patio and it was great. Enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks. The pizza we had was delish. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees as well. Great date night spot for sure.
Great dinner. Menu very different from the old Brisas and we enjoyed it!
Will go back for sure! Get the lobster guac!
We were passing through town with no experience of this restaurant. The ratings online were good so we tried it. After making our reservation, I was called to find out which room I would like to be seated in. This was great, because we preferred the dining room and would have been disappointed if seated in the room with higher tables & tv screens. The menu (even though abbreviated due to COVID) had a lot of variety. My husband’s fish & chips was perfectly cooked - and he is very particular about this dish. I had chicken Marsala that was excellent - plump & juicy chicken pieces (instead of thin cutlets) with a delicate Marsala sauce, stuffed pasta bundles that were excellent and a side of mushrooms. Surprisingly good wine menu as well. We will definitely go back again whenever we are in Lubbock!
Best place to eat in Lubbock. From the service, to the atmosphere to the food everything is always perfect.
Pretentious, but good food. Somewhat overpriced. The wasabi eggs had no wasabi but the crab cakes and peppered tuna appetizers were very good. Lobster pasta was under seasoned but a good amount of lobster. Great wine and spirits selections. Hostesses were confused and tried to seat us outside without asking. Wait staff was cordial but could use more training on wine knowledge to make suggestions for pairings.
Great foood , Great Service, and a very food atmosphere..
Steak was not what i have had in many past visits
Excellent. My husband wanted to take me somewhere “nice.” This fit the bill. Our service was excellent and the food memorable. We had the steak with Chimichurri sauce and the lobster pasta with truffle sauce, neither disappointed. We’ll be back!
Very slow service
Came for drinks and appetizers. Slow start in an empty bar area & took a few to get helped- ended up with great waitress who was incredibly attentive - awkward right now without being able to see/hold a drink menu so went with specials. Wasn’t crowded so wasn’t too loud. Will go back
It was my first time visiting Las Brisas Casual Bistro
I was impressed with how quick the food came out
Ordered the Lobster Pasta which had huge lumps of lobster with a good amount of pasta and creamy sauce.. Very filling
We specifically made our reservation for the bar - it looked fun, energetic, loud, exactly what we wanted. Upon arrival, they said, "oh we don't have that in our notes and it will be 30 minutes for a table" so we had to sit in the dining room. That was disappointing since I know it labels the request for a bar table (I use OT in the restaurant I work in) so the hostesses chose to sit a walk in or another group before our reservation (we were on time as well). Our server was very nice, and our meal was good. The risotto, had no flavor however.
A pleasant yet sophisticated atmosphere without being too pretentious. Our waitperson was attentive and courteous, and recommended a really good bottle of wine (Conundrum red blend). We ate strictly off the appetizer menu and enjoyed the variety and portions.
Outstanding service and great food!
It was ok and that is why I gave it a three star review. When we go out to a nice meal to spend this kind of money we expect really good. Really good food, really good drinks, and excellent service. However, everything about our experience was mostly just ok. The food was good..... but not memorable or great. I had the red snapper and although the sauce was very good, the fish was overcooked..... to the point I needed a knife to cut it. My wife had the lobster pasta and again it was good.....but it was so rich and drowned in butter it was hard to eat much of it without feeling like it was just to much. Our server was ok, but not overly attentive. We had to ask to get drinks twice and there was only two other tables in the dinning room that were occupied. We were also interested in seeing a dessert menu which was never offered, just a check delivered with a "thank you for coming in." So...... for the money, my wife and I felt like there are much better options in Lubbock for a really nice dinner.
Our first time here. Really enjoyed the evening! The food was yummy and the service (from Francisco) was awesome!!!
Very nice staff, also very attentive. Enjoyed the romantics atmosphere. They also kept the valentines menu short with a great selection so there would t be an extended wait time on food. Bubbling martinis were fun.
Blackened Salmon and lobster pasta were excellent. The butter cake with vanilla bean ice cream was delicious.
Great place! The food, service & atmosphere was amazing!
I love the Brisas Bistro One can eat in the dining area for a romantic dinner or in the sports bar very casual dining Love the variety
Food is the same in each dining area
Worth the money!
Just the best steak anywhere!! I’ve been in fine steakhouses establishments from coast to coast and Las Brisas can match up (or surpass) any of them!
The sports bar is classy yet casual. Nothing over the top, yet,the same fabulous food from Las Brisas.
The room,on the other side of the wall is fancy with white tablecloths , and quiet. Same great service and food.
Love the location...
