The fig and mushroom ravioli was excellent. We were lucky to eat there on a Tuesday eve- quiet- fun staff!!
Good clean tasting food not smothered in sauces but with a modern style of cooking.
Amazing food with great service and a nice happy hour. We loved all our drinks but found the specialty ones weren’t worth the higher price tag, especially since the house ones were half off during HH and delicious
Solid food and exceptional service. Great happy hour. The last few experiences have had smoke coming from the kitchen into the dining area...that’s the only negative.
Consistently great! The food is fresh and very good. The staff is very well-trained, happy and professional. There are less expensive options in addition to their more costly entrees. Salmon or trout--always grab it when it's on the menu. Really nice wines by the glass.
Great service and food, wonderful sense of fine dining in a mountain town.
Two of our party of four had the game hen, and neither of them like it. My husband said it tasted warmed over and not freshly cooked, and tasted bland. The veggies were dripping with oil.
On the other hand, the crispy Brussels sprouts for the table were amazing, as was the roasted beet salad. I loved the hamburger with pimiento cheese. I could only eat half, so enjoyed it for lunch the next day.
Great Happy Hour - BEST Margarita in Steamboat and better still when it's $5 before 6pm.
Gluten Free options available or chef is willing to make changes to accommodate. Delicious.
Great happy hour and dinner. Got their early to have a cocktail during happy hour, rolled into dinner that was simply wonderful.
Great food. Great kids menu for middle schoolers- probably the best in steamboat.
We had an absolutely excellent time at Table 79! We reserved a table for 5 pm so we could enjoy happy hour and we were thrilled with every item from the snacks menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our entrees and the tiramisu was the best I have ever had. The food was timely and had creative flavors, service was friendly and not overly-imposing, the drinks were fantastic, and the ambiance struck a balance between classy and cozy without being pretentious. We will definitely be back!
We had an amazing meal The service was excellent and the food was all outstanding.
Excellent as always! :) H
Wow wow wow. Truly a great meal. Appetizers were full of flavor and presentation. Entrees were flawless. I felt as if we were welcomed into a close friends home, who was happy to see us and LOVED to cook. It was a great experience. Well done indeed! Great evening from start to finish.
Cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Everyone in our party of 6 was very satisfied.
My family of 4 ate at Table 79 while in Steamboat for a ski vacation. We dined with reservations during happy hour and primarily ordered from the “Snacks” section of the menu and basically had a tapas dinner. The crispy Brussels sprouts were well-seasoned, crispy and delicious. The pork “wings” were explained as a cut from the rear back leg. They were tender and delicious. Think tender pork rib in a slightly different shape. The fig toast was a great combination of sweet and savory. The roasted beets were served warm and paired nicely with the feta cheese. The brisket sliders were tender and we loved the crunchy slaw. We also ordered from the “small plates” menu. The smoked elk and chorizo meatballs were well-seasoned and delicious. The sausage accompanied by red cabbage, sauerkraut and whole-grain mustard was perfect for a cold evening. We drank wine and beer, but there were also many cocktails included in the happy hour offerings. Service was attentive and efficient. We will return next time we are in Steamboat.
Great waitress!!!! Food good also
Met some friends for a happy hour, light supper. Cocktails were great, lots of yummy apps. Some in our group had burgers which they were raving about. Great server too.
Beware! We had a 6:30 reservation for a party of 5 right after Christmas. We own a place in Steamboat and understand how busy it is. Our shuttle was supposed to arrive at 6:10 and came late. We arrived at 6:40 (there is supposed to be a 15 minute window which we were under) and we were scolded by the hostess and told we needed to be out by 8:15. I was irritated but thought how could it take that long? We ordered an expensive bottle of wine, drinks and entrees. We had a few sips left and were literally asked to leave the table at 8:10 by the waitress we had just tipped over 20% on liquor too. We have never been treated this way at any restaurant anywhere in the world. I would never go back! Who treats well paying customers like that? Do not go there if you expect high end service! The food is not worth the ignorant treatment. We will pass on our story to owners and tourists and hope your staff learns how to treat well paying customers.
Surprised this farm to table was so GOOD. You never know? Excellent place to visit.
Did happy hour and enjoyed house special drinks and small plates. Coming back for sure.
A great family meal to top off our ski vacation
delicious and unusual food, but service was slow and indifferent. Loved the mushroom and fig ravioli. we waited a long time for food, and they didn't offer bread. when we requestd it, they grilled it and delivered it after we'd finish our meal Still, food was good enough to make us want to try again.
Love the happy Hour food and drink. Also enjoy sitting at the kitchen bar and talking with the chefs when the restaurant isn’t too busy. The app Brussels sprouts are to die for.
Great food as usual. The menu is very creative and everything we ordered was excellent. We missed the apple beignet, which has been removed from the menu. We definitely recommed Table 79.
Everything was fabulous--food, service and ambiance
Appetizers - Brussels sprouts, truffle fries/ mushrooms, tuna poke, and beets with feta cheese ...all excellent... definitely would order again!
For entree - burgers, charcuterie, and salmon all delicious...
Service was excellent - as was ambiance!
We will definitely come here again! One of our favorites in Steamboat!
Table 79 is a locals favorite and never disappoints. The happy hour is high energy and fun, the servers are delightful and both at happy hour and later, table service is lovely. The food is rich and flavorful and not tiny little portions...real eaters will love Table 79. Just go.
Incredible food, drinks, and service. My wife and I went for our anniversary and it was wonderful!
Over rated food but great service. We were disappointed with the farm to table experience. We’ve had this several times before so I expected a more simple menu with great flavors.
Cant’ beat the happy hour specials. The food was amazing as always, our waitress was very helpful and polite. Love the Brussels sprouts, the beets and the portobello fries for apps.
Great place with great happy hour specials!
Had our family of four and the kids spouses. It was a fabulous experience.
For the second year in a row, my family and I chose to have our Thanksgiving meal at Table 79. The food is good, period, but it was especially nice for members of our group to have a choice: traditional Thanksgiving food? Or something entirely different, like the duck risotto for me? We'll definitely be back.
This was our first restaurant to try in Steamboat, and it didn’t disappoint. Despite it being Thanksgiving, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The menu has lots of options. My wife and I, who are taking a soft run at the vegetarian life, were able to find plenty to enjoy from the veggie side. The portobello mushroom fries will definitely keep us coming back when we visit Steamboat again.
We enjoyed the meal but felt it was overpriced. Also, the tiramisu was not the best I have had.
This is one of our favorite spots and it did not disappoint. Love the food and drinks.
As always the food quality and interesting flavor combinations did not disappoint. We took advantage of off season special promotional pricing, but would have paid full price for this delicious meal. It is quite a festive atmosphere and can get a little loud, but in a fun way.
This was our second time eating at Table 79. We returned because it had been a memorable experience for us. We were not disappointed and in fact, it was even better than we recalled. The Duck Confit with Risotto was different and more delicious than I had ever eaten. Don't miss out on the roasted beet dish...wow!
Jenny was great and the food was insane! Will be coming back :)
