As always the food quality and interesting flavor combinations did not disappoint. We took advantage of off season special promotional pricing, but would have paid full price for this delicious meal. It is quite a festive atmosphere and can get a little loud, but in a fun way.
This was our second time eating at Table 79. We returned because it had been a memorable experience for us. We were not disappointed and in fact, it was even better than we recalled. The Duck Confit with Risotto was different and more delicious than I had ever eaten. Don't miss out on the roasted beet dish...wow!
Jenny was great and the food was insane! Will be coming back :)
Excellent meal as usual. Can always count on a quality meal. Excellent service and cocktails!
Was recommend by a friend, and it delivered. Excellent cocktails, carefully crafted entrees, and hospitable waitstaff. We will be back next time we are in Steamboat.
Enjoyed our experience and recommend it! We’ll be back!
We always loved the old Bistro CV, and it's good to know such a fine restaurant now occupies that space.
Food was outstanding as it always is. Small plates great for sharing. Innovative cocktail list...overall a wonderful experience.....and during Mud Season, an incredible value!
Fantastic, as always! The portabella fries and brussel sprouts never disappoint. I tried the Duck leg confirm and oh my!! Delicious!
We really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and our server; she was golden. We tend to enjoy sampling different appetizers and so we had three, the fig toast which we ordered a second time because it was so fun, the roasted beets and crispy brussel sprouts which was done very nicely. We then shared a salad and both had a bowl of the Autumn squash which was done very differently than I have ever had but it was so fun. My wife wanted a second bowl. We then finished with the duck risotto which was fantastic. It just ended the night on the right note for us. We really loved the casual and warm atmosphere and will return again.
Excellent service, creative and delicious food. Portobello fries are to die for. Delicious poke salad. Nice wine list. Server brought us a complementary tiramisu to share.
Our server Jessie was excellent. We split an elk meatball small plate, and liked it so well we ordered a second. The beets salad was also delicious. My duck confit was served with risotto and my husband had a perfectly cooked beef tenderloin, and we loved both. HIGHLY recommended!
We lucked into dining here during a "restaurant week" special offer of 50% off entrees, which made the experience even nicer. It was busy it was cooked to perfection. had a honey chicken entree which was also very good. We highly recommend Table 79.
I LOVED this place.. great energy and great food! I will be back!
We really enjoyed our family dinner at Table 79. It came highly recommended by a friend, and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the happy hour specials were great, and we were able to have a semi-fancy meal that was kid friendly.
This meal was nothing short of amazing!!
To start we had the beets and the meat balls (order more than 1). While they were supposed to be elk and chorizo- we didn't get much of a chorizo flavor/spice. The corn and sauce was fantastic with the meatballs. Overall the beets were good. The feta seemed to be roasted (?) I was expecting cold...
The duck confit risotto. Oh. My. God. So freaking delicious. It was an actual leg of duck so there was plenty of meat. The risotto was nice and creamy and delicious. The sweet corn sauce was sweet and fantastic!!! I didn't really enjoy the mushrooms (mainly texture) in the risotto but everything was fantastic!!
My dad ordered the honey roasted chicken (I think that's what it's called). It was juicy, moist and delicious!
I got the kill devil falls drink which came with a little umbrella :) my dads rum and tonic didn't seem to have enough rum. The old fashioned s were good. Overall this place was great!
Had an amazing “fancy” mommy daughter date with my girls!
Very good service. Off season prices very good value.
Great food and service. Only negative was the back room where we were seated was very crowded and loud. Think it would be helpful if few tables removed.
We were promptly seated and our drink order taken. We ordered the trout and ahi tuna. The trout dish was good, but the flavors hid the taste of the trout. My partner liked his ahi tuna which was cooked rare as he ordered. The main thing we did not like about this restaurant was the noise. It was very loud and not easy to converse.
This restaurant is very noisy. We had a reservation but couldn’t hear at the table they assigned to us. They weren’t able to find an alternative and didn’t seem particularly interested in doing so. We left without eating. I obviously wouldn’t go back. I’m not particularly old or deaf—just wanted to hear my wife. Eat at The Laundry— great food and atmosphere—and skip this place!!
Great food! Great service! We liked it so much we ate there two nights in a row. Shout out to chefs Jake and Chris. Thanks!
Decent place but other reviews had my expectations high, in addition to the prices. I just expected more and for price, food was sub par. Not bad but not what I expected
Great restaurant. Really loved the seared tuna steak.
The food was impeccable. Spot on. Hope most of my tip goes to the chef and cooks. We sat at the chefs counter and was chef them work. Awesome. Great menu. Prosecco and Pinot also great choices.
This was our first visit to Table 79, but it won't be our last. We happened to arrived in the last minutes of happy hour and treated ourselves to extremely affordable beverages and an appetizer of tempura vegetables. I had trout while my companion had tuna; both were flavorful and well-prepared and presented. Coffee and beignets rounded out an excellent meal in a relaxing atmosphere!
Everything was great!
Great food and wonderful waitress. Made for a very special night.
Everything was on point. The food was very good and so tasty. Compliment to the Chef....
Relaxing ambiance, pleasant and attentive staff, great cocktails, small and interesting menu, GREAT FOOD. Overall a very enjoyable and tasty experience. We enjoyed a selection of shared plates which were nicely presented, and all featured their own great flavors and textures; each one had it's own uniqueness. Thanks for a very enjoyable dinner.
Table 79 has a somewhat eclectic menu with some good choices. It’s relatively new interior and bar make it a nice place to eat. The happy hour prices are great on selected menu options with 50% off ... and they have a great mixed drink menu. We had blackened fish tacos that I would say were ok but not great, fried portobello mushrooms that were ok but incredibly heavy and a salad which was fantastic. I would only get the salad next time as there are better taco options in town. That said, I’d go back but would order the simple burger that comes with potato fries. Table next to us had them and were raving about them. Would go again due to nice facility, fantastic service, and HH menu but would choose different food items.
The drinks and the food were all amazing. Blue crab mac and cheese and smoked elk and chorizo meatball were some of my favorites.
We celebrated our 30 yr. wedding anniversary, we were married in 1988 in strawberry park in Steamboat springs and the table79 with a nice touch of celebration champange before the dinner. Loved the personal touch.
We went for happy hour and it was terrific! I didn’t realize that wine, beer and some of the appetizers and hamburger were half price during that time-which makes it an incredible value. Our waitress was outstanding and the food was wonderful. We always enjoy dining at Table 79.
What a find. The best gourmet food with outstanding seasoning and sauces. We want to go there every time we come to Steamboat Springs.
We had a delightful dinner the other evening at Table 79. It is basically small plates with a limited menu for larger dinners. Even those are sharable. I suggest that you start slow and just keep eating until you are full. We were a party of four and ended up with eight small plates and two bottles of wine. The wine list is good, not extensive, and well priced. Our service was excellent. Definitely worth a try.
Food was great as usual. Service was friendly and professional. we had a very nice anniversary dinner.
Outstanding food and service. Really enjoyed sharing the small plates with a group of friends.
Amazing food, friendly staff, nice beer list, mixed drinks, wine. Fit for foodies, bring an appetite. Delicious apps, entrees, and desserts.
Overall the restaurant was mediocre. The portions were overpriced and too small. We tried 5 small
plates and they were all mediocre.
