This meal was nothing short of amazing!!
To start we had the beets and the meat balls (order more than 1). While they were supposed to be elk and chorizo- we didn't get much of a chorizo flavor/spice. The corn and sauce was fantastic with the meatballs. Overall the beets were good. The feta seemed to be roasted (?) I was expecting cold...
The duck confit risotto. Oh. My. God. So freaking delicious. It was an actual leg of duck so there was plenty of meat. The risotto was nice and creamy and delicious. The sweet corn sauce was sweet and fantastic!!! I didn't really enjoy the mushrooms (mainly texture) in the risotto but everything was fantastic!!
My dad ordered the honey roasted chicken (I think that's what it's called). It was juicy, moist and delicious!
I got the kill devil falls drink which came with a little umbrella :) my dads rum and tonic didn't seem to have enough rum. The old fashioned s were good. Overall this place was great!
Very good service. Off season prices very good value.
Great food and service. Only negative was the back room where we were seated was very crowded and loud. Think it would be helpful if few tables removed.
This restaurant is very noisy. We had a reservation but couldn’t hear at the table they assigned to us. They weren’t able to find an alternative and didn’t seem particularly interested in doing so. We left without eating. I obviously wouldn’t go back. I’m not particularly old or deaf—just wanted to hear my wife. Eat at The Laundry— great food and atmosphere—and skip this place!!
Great food! Great service! We liked it so much we ate there two nights in a row. Shout out to chefs Jake and Chris. Thanks!
Decent place but other reviews had my expectations high, in addition to the prices. I just expected more and for price, food was sub par. Not bad but not what I expected
Great restaurant. Really loved the seared tuna steak.
The food was impeccable. Spot on. Hope most of my tip goes to the chef and cooks. We sat at the chefs counter and was chef them work. Awesome. Great menu. Prosecco and Pinot also great choices.
This was our first visit to Table 79, but it won't be our last. We happened to arrived in the last minutes of happy hour and treated ourselves to extremely affordable beverages and an appetizer of tempura vegetables. I had trout while my companion had tuna; both were flavorful and well-prepared and presented. Coffee and beignets rounded out an excellent meal in a relaxing atmosphere!
Everything was great!
Great food and wonderful waitress. Made for a very special night.
Everything was on point. The food was very good and so tasty. Compliment to the Chef....
Relaxing ambiance, pleasant and attentive staff, great cocktails, small and interesting menu, GREAT FOOD. Overall a very enjoyable and tasty experience. We enjoyed a selection of shared plates which were nicely presented, and all featured their own great flavors and textures; each one had it's own uniqueness. Thanks for a very enjoyable dinner.
Table 79 has a somewhat eclectic menu with some good choices. It’s relatively new interior and bar make it a nice place to eat. The happy hour prices are great on selected menu options with 50% off ... and they have a great mixed drink menu. We had blackened fish tacos that I would say were ok but not great, fried portobello mushrooms that were ok but incredibly heavy and a salad which was fantastic. I would only get the salad next time as there are better taco options in town. That said, I’d go back but would order the simple burger that comes with potato fries. Table next to us had them and were raving about them. Would go again due to nice facility, fantastic service, and HH menu but would choose different food items.
The drinks and the food were all amazing. Blue crab mac and cheese and smoked elk and chorizo meatball were some of my favorites.
We celebrated our 30 yr. wedding anniversary, we were married in 1988 in strawberry park in Steamboat springs and the table79 with a nice touch of celebration champange before the dinner. Loved the personal touch.
We went for happy hour and it was terrific! I didn’t realize that wine, beer and some of the appetizers and hamburger were half price during that time-which makes it an incredible value. Our waitress was outstanding and the food was wonderful. We always enjoy dining at Table 79.
What a find. The best gourmet food with outstanding seasoning and sauces. We want to go there every time we come to Steamboat Springs.
We had a delightful dinner the other evening at Table 79. It is basically small plates with a limited menu for larger dinners. Even those are sharable. I suggest that you start slow and just keep eating until you are full. We were a party of four and ended up with eight small plates and two bottles of wine. The wine list is good, not extensive, and well priced. Our service was excellent. Definitely worth a try.
Food was great as usual. Service was friendly and professional. we had a very nice anniversary dinner.
Outstanding food and service. Really enjoyed sharing the small plates with a group of friends.
Amazing food, friendly staff, nice beer list, mixed drinks, wine. Fit for foodies, bring an appetite. Delicious apps, entrees, and desserts.
Overall the restaurant was mediocre. The portions were overpriced and too small. We tried 5 small
plates and they were all mediocre.
We shared the salad, ribs, portebella fries, tacos & tuna poke. The salad, tuna & fries were very good. The ribs were not very flavorful.
Seating was comfortable & staff was knowledgeable.
The menu for main meals is small but delicious. It is better for shared small plates. We were really looking for dinner plates and so for us the menu was limited. The cocktail menu is interesting . Happy hour would be a good time to go for light bites and drinks.
We loved Table 79! The portobello fries and brussels sprouts were delicious! The flank steak was excellent! My husband said it was the best burger in Steamboat! We can't wait to go back!
Great first time experience. Caroline was excellent and we will be back when we visit in September ! The Pithers Family.
We love sitting at the kitchen counter, watching the chefs. The brined, roasted chicken is wonderful, as is the fish n chips appetizer. All good!
We drove 60 miles to Table 79 for our anniversary celebration. It was worth it! The menu had unique offerings. I especially liked the tomato and watermelon salad. My husband's favorite was the fried mushrooms with cheese. The wine list was good. The wait staff was attentive but did not pester.
The pork belly appetizer and the buffalo ribeye entree were outstanding!
We eat at Table 79 6-7 times per year. It was great as always!
My table of friends really liked the small plates. All were delicious. Deserts, yum!
Table 79 is one of thew two or three best restaurants in SS. The service is very good as is the food. Would encourage management to expand their menu a bit; perhaps including some daily (weekly) specials. That aside, definitely worth a visit; you'll eat well for a reasonable cost.
Fun new place in Steamboat. You can sit at the bar and watch the food being prepared.
Our server was friendly and attentive. She was very knowledgeable about the menu!! We trusted her suggestions and couldn't have been happier!
Small plates are the BEST! We shared the elk and chorizo meatballs, truffle fried mushrooms, and Brussels sprouts. All were fantastic
Food was great and service matched it!
Great food, not too noisy, great company. Waitstaff were nice, but cleared the plates a bit too fast - we hadn't finished licking the plates! But the desserts were amazing, so it was all good.
Outstanding creative small plates to share. What made table 79 stand out even more for us, was the happy hour. At 50% prices for many dishes and drinks, the value here was unbelievable for the quality behind each dish. Do it, don't think twice. This may not be the latest fad restaurant in sb, but it was better than many of those that are. Right at the top of our favorites list. One word of caution, there is no kids menu, although you could probably find something suitable on the menu.
We’re not sure we love the new menu: no fish or pasta choices.
The dishes were generally good except the elk meatball.
We were seated in the second room and it felt lonely- other tables were mostly empty.
Service was good but basically the 5 sharing dishes all came out at the same time. That was odd.
