Food was excellent. Great ambiance with good service there was good cocktails and great desserts. Fairly exspensive but worth it. highly recommend.
The food was just ok.
One of the best Happy Hours in town. We like that tables are available to everyone whether you are eating strictly from the Happy Hour menu or from both the Happy Hour and full dinner menu. Diners can mix and match.
Amazing service, food was delicious, serving sizes were perfect for me (my boyfriend could use a little more). Great experience!
Great dinner, friendly staff - not overpriced! The space is warm and friendly.
This was our first time and as soon as we walked in instantly loved the look and feel of the place. Our server was great and the food was spectacular.
Probably now one of my most favorite places to eat in town. Creativity in the dishes without being way out or absurd. Definitely some talent in the kitchen. And while many restaurants are on the craft-cocktail wagon now....these people have it going on. Can’t wait to return next year!
Delicious. Happy hour prices for appetizers and drinks are not to be missed.
Table 79 was a fantastic dining experience! Everyone’s food was absolutely delicious, and we especially appreciated the care they took in accommodating our daughter’s gluten and dairy allergies. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Steamboat!!
Great food in a very comfortable environment. A bit pricey, but not overly so. Variety of selections is wonderful. Everyone should find something they like. Very modern American fare. Please go.
Fabulous dinner! We called because we
Shuttle and explained to hostess! Our server was awesome, food fabulous, hostess - I would get another one! We walked in ten minutes late from our reservation and called to say we would be late! The hostess promptly told us our table had another reservation at 7:15! We finished dinner at 7:05 but I truly expect better service and welcome from the hostess! We love this restaurant and come every year! Fabulous food and service, poor hostess!
The food! The food! Fig toast..to die for! Tuna poke...to die for! Crispy brussell sprouts, fig and mushroom ravioli in butternut squash soup, the s'mores dessert, all too delicious to describe! Worth another trip back to Steamboat just to dine there! Our waitress was super; added to our enjoyment! I love this place and look forward to eating there every time I go to Steamboat. You will, too.
Really a good dining experience with friends. It was a full restaurant night so the noice/conversations were a bit loud but we just dealt with it.
Vibrant atmosphere, great food and service. The salmon entree was fantastic!
Had a reservation. Hostess sat us in table in the corner despite other open tables. Asked to be moved and they flatly refused and offered to sit us at high tops looking into kitchen, which makes the food lose its luster when you see how everything is made. Despite pointing out multiple open 2 tops, they would not move us. Turned around 5 minutes later and saw another party sat in the open tables. Was there for “happy hour” and apparently the happy hour brisket sliders are a different quantity than non-happy hour, which in my mind defeats the purpose of the supposed happy hour. After sitting down, waiter poured water which included random debris floating in the water. Food was ok, however I don’t plan on going back and would not recommend.
Great service and great prices during happy hour! Accidentally made a reservation for 2 with a group of four. Hostess was terrific in getting table for four. Will be back next time in Steamboat!
Great food, good value for the price. Excellent ambiance and a varied menu. I had a hard time choosing from all the great sounding entrees. Lamb shank was so tender a knife was not needed. Entrees had a unique blend of flavors and spices. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
One of our favorite places to go in Steamboat. Don’t ever take the portobello fries off the menu!
Delicious food! We had no drinks or dessert. Actually no desserts appealed to any of us. Seated promptly. Great waitress.
First, I will say the food was delicious! We loved the pork, pea brandade, ravioli and tuna poke. Our service was possibly the worst we’ve ever had at a restaurant with $30 entrees. Our server was inattentive, patronizing and the service was exceptionally slow. Most places that advertise a children’s menu understand that people dining with children need meals to move a little quicker. We were seated at 6, got our appetizer around 6:30 and our dinner at 7:15. That is far too long for young children to wait to eat. We were served burnt bread (arranged on the plate to hide the burnt sides), which we returned to the kitchen and we were then charged for two orders (the burnt order and the replacement). I would consider going back here without children because the food was so good. This is definitely not a family establishment despite the fact that they have a children’s menu.
Love the happy hour, warm greeting, excellent food
We had a reservation for 7:00 and were seated promptly. We got our menus and ordered our drinks. It took a good 15 minutes to get our beverages with a commentary of "good things come to those who wait." We ordered dinner and sat for another 40 minutes or so with really no explanation of why it was taking so long. Our waiter did not come back to see if we wanted anything else to drink for quite some time either. The food, once it arrived was quite good. However, the $31 pork dish my husband ordered was embarrassingly small. I think that they may have been having staffing issues or something but it was frustrating to have other people come in way after we did and get their food right after we got ours. Some sort of explanation or apology would have been nice.
Excellent food. We eat out a ton, as good as any mid to big city restaurant. The fig toast app was tiny for $9, they should have doubled the potion. Besides that, A+ experience.
#1 dining experience in Steamboat. Service beats all others hands down. Food is exceptional. Don't miss this place.
Great vibe. Excellent food and service. Lighting was just right. Interesting wine list. Not big but good options.
The ambiance of this restaurant was very plain. I thought the menu options were good. I enjoyed the braised rib with delicious vegetables and mashed potatoes. It was a very tasty dish.
Our server was inadequate. She forgot to bring what was asked several times and when she remembered she thought it was funny that she had forgotten and not at all apologetic. They started clearing our dishes before we were finished eating...
I will give this restaurant another try in the summer (we go to Steamboat Springs often) and I will then decide if I would actually recommend it to a friend.
Good food, upscale casual restaurant. A bit noisy, but may have been from some especially noisy guests at the table nearby. Had a sampling of appetizers, small plates. All were very good. Had the short rib as the main course - was yummy, just like your grandma makes it! And dessert was good too! Not a lot of options, but the menu changes often. Would definitely visit this restaurant again!
Food just wasn’t that good. Everything was just a bit off.
Table 79 is phenomenal in every way. Every time we come to Steamboat, we make it one of our stops during the trip. The food options are all fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly and are service has never been anything but exceptional. We tell all our friends to check it out during their visit. You can’t go wrong with this option!!
My son, husband, and I sat at the bar and had a great time. My son loved the Cornish hen and we also liked the short ribs. The bartenders were fabulous and very attentive.
I had a wonderful time, meal was fantastic as were the drinks
A small and dark restaurant with open kitchen. Excellent service and food quality, would recommend for a special occasion. Not too pricey and my steak was perfect
Table 79 was a good find! The service was excellent, as
were the salad & main entrees. We love our craft cocktails & they were superb. We will definitely come back.
First time at Table 79!
Had heard good things and was not disappointed. Enjoyed the dinner experience.
Bachelorette dinner. Food was delicious but service was a bit nonchalant and standoffish. Overall a good experience but nothing special.
Service was excellent. Everyone was very helpful. Salads unusual and very tasty.
Service was a bit slow but the food was excellent and perfectly cooked!
This was an excellent meal and way beyond what we expected. The food was wonderful including the creative appetizers and small plates.
Dined with my family of four including 2 kids ages 11 and 9 and we LOVED this restaurant. Great ambiance, easy downtown location. The Braised Ribs were to die for ... my husband and I both had that. Although I would try the pasta dish next time which sounded delicious. So yummy. Started with their amazing brussel sprouts for app that were cooked to perfection. Kids had the kids steak and pasta..and meatball and pasta. oh and the craft cocktails list was on point. We loved this place and will def be back!
Very nice place and the food is really great, everything we got was delish!
