This location is located within a Clarion Motel. But, don’t let the humble surroundings deter you. The food and service were fantastic. Yes, you can tell that they’re used to dealing with tired tourists. That said, these two locals still enjoyed the experience.
We decided to stop by Tabla on our way out of Orlando and so glad we did! Everything was absolutely delicious here! We ordered the chaat platter, chicken seekh kebab, butter chicken, and the indo Chinese fried rice. I would recommend all! The dishes had a balanced and rich flavor. The service was also great! Will definitely visit again the next time I’m in town.
Took few minutes to somebody take care of us, but after that Ms. Francis a Venezuelan server took care of us in a excellent way. The food was amazing, rich in flavor and a very taste in presentation. We enjoy!
Excellent Indian food. Great service.
Our server Naresh was great had us laughing through our meal and the food was excellent.
Food absolutely delicious. Our waiter top notch. Took time to explain the menu and his recommendations were spot on. Forgive my spelling
..Kabhual was hi name. Would eat anything he recommended. Again great experience. Will return
Hi I went here on a date with my boyfriend :-) the food was absolutely amazing and they had so many vegan and vegetarian options! The prices are fair and the ambience is super romantic and nice! The staff was friendly and attentive as well. Def will be back! <3
Food was tasty but must have been when we came in or the fact it was Saturday but it was very clear they were understaffed. There were several mistakes in our order, our check kept going to the party sitting behind us, our card went to them too. We went in on Saturday around 10pm which was an hour before closing. We were seated promptly but our order wasn't taken until 30 minutes later by which point the kitchen started to close so we were told to give our full order before drinks were even taken. It made sense so we did it but then we never got drinks until after our dinner was almost over. I think the main issue was the waiter, he made a lot of mistakes that night and we were patient because we thought maybe they were too busy or maybe he was new. However, since there were more than one or two mistakes I feel its important to write about it. If they were understaffed then just say sorry we can't take any more people. And both the waiters we dealt with never wrote anything down and subsequently they forgot all orders we gave me. I don't dock points for waiters that write things down that's a plus in my books, shows organization. Because he didn't write it down they didn't bring one of the dishes we ordered luckily we over ordered food so we were fine, all our food came out mild even though we ordered spicy which I think was because he forgot and like I said we never got our drinks because again no one wrote that down. Also, don't order the mango lassi, not good (not tart and didn't taste like mango). Like I said the taste was good of the food and the restaurant has lots of potential if we didn't have any of the mistakes that happened to us. The funniest mistake was having the customers behind us come over and exchange cards with us because our waiter switched the check folder (not once but twice). I would still recommend the place, especially for non-Indians (their food is still better than an average Indian restaurant) but maybe go right when they open.
We had the chicken Tikka Masala, chicken Vindaloo, and garlic naan; it was fantastic. We order Indian food about once a week so we wanted to get some on vacation, it did not disappoint. We came two nights in a row!! Definitely recommend the Mucho Mango Martini as well :)
Best yet in the Orlando area
Great service and food!
The food was absolutely delicious, and we chose mostly vegetarian options. FYI they do not have a full bar, beer and wine only which was really not a big deal. The only disappointment was the service was very slow, yet friendly. We had to look for our waitress each time we needed help, but I would go back.
Wonderful dinner and great staff. We also appreciated all Covid 19 procedures!
Food is authentic and amazing!! Staff is attentive.
Great Indian food. Menu was full of the typical choices and some additional special spices. Staff was very warm and knowledgeable. This is a go to spot for Orlando.
Presentation and taste amazing!
The Gobi Manchurian is the best ever. All food is spiced to taste so don’t be shy give it a try!!!
Very good service, and really good food!
One of the best Indian restaurants in town. Their goat is outstanding.
Delicious food. There was only one server for the whole restaurant which was 6 tables so service was a bit slow but we didn’t mind.
I can’t wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow and go back once per month
First time having Indian food and it was delicious. The menue offered an array of choices from traditional Indian dishes to Thai food and more. They are willing to cook certain thing to a spice level witch was nice. Definitely recommend especially if you want to try something different
Food was good but, service was haphazard. The restaurant needs more servers in order to adequately take care of their patrons on a timely basis.
Great food & atmosphere - Good sized portions & very friendly staff.
My family and I went for the first time and we will be back. The food was great and service was really good.
We read the reviews on tripadvisor and subsequently booked as vastly positive. unfortunately on arrival at our booking time we were asked to wait in the "hotel / reception area" whilst a table could be prepared. the gentleman subsequently pointed at the untidy table. "no problem we thought" after 15 minutes passed i returned to the host and asked why there were people sat at the now cleaned table, and no one had communicated with us whilst we patiently waited. again we were informed a table would be ready in 5 minutes. after waiting in the hotel lobby for a further 15 minutes we left the premises completely appalled at our experience
Had our first meal there on-premises (take out earlier in the pandemic) and we're very impressed. Most importantly, the food was great-some of the best Indian we've had in Orlando. Service was also very attentive and responsive. I didn't give it top marks only because the kitchen was slow; it took quite a while for dishes to arrive, but maybe that's what this level of quality requires. Portions were generous and prices, especially for a hotel restaurant, were very fair. A top pick for Indian food in Orlando.
What an amazing find on our trip to Orlando. Fantastic authentic Indian cuisine, with great variety and consistent quality. We will be back on our next visit to town!
Mohammed was excellent- gave great recommendations for the Indian food. Our friend who is from London and eats at many different Indian Restaurants says this was the best one he has been to in the US. Highly recommend. Lot of food for you $.
Go see Mohammad. It’s really really great. At first you wonder if it will be good because it’s in the hotel. Ignore all that or you will miss out on a wonderful meal.
Mohammad our waiter was outstanding. Remembered all our names and made us feel like regular customers. First class guy who made the experience fantastic.
Indian food was exceptional. Mohammad was an excellent server
The food was a bit of a letdown the chicken vindaloo was not spicy! How do you do that? The naan was great, the vegetable biryani rice had corn in it? Corn? The place has a good rating so others must like it. Wasnt for us.
Great authentic Indian food. The biryani was cooked in a pot with multiple layers. Certain fragments of rice we even colored differently. Layer of gravy followed by Basmati rice and on and on. All that just for $20. Never can get better than this.
We decided to try the restaurant after hearing about it through a friend. The food was good and the ambiance was nice. The only thing that was a little bothersome was the parking situation. You either have to let them valet your car which we don’t like doing or you find a spot by the hotel around back which was completely full.
Excellent restaurant, Just the best Indian food we’ve had.
Loved having a selection among Thai, Chinese and Indian dishes! Our favorite was the cauliflower with Manchurian sauce. If you like spicy, don't let them scare you away from the higher level of spicing. I got talked into getting the medium level of a Thai curry, and it was very gentle warm. Anyone who's been in Thailand can handle the spicier version.
Good food, good service and good ambiance. Located in Clarion Hotel.
Cracker meal cracker service from Romero.
Visited from England, excellent Indian food & very pleasant service
Very good food and great service
