Nestled in the Brick Walk Promenade, in Fairfield, Taberna Restaurant serves a mouthwatering array of authentic Spanish tapas, along with a wonderful selection of delicious Mediterranean fare, for lunch and dinner, daily. A little gem in Fairfield! We enjoyed the diverse Tapas menu and additional options for our kids. Lovely outdoor seating and a responsive accommodating staff. Great summertime dining!

Great food, great atmosphere. Would definitely go back to this place. Great date night or with other friends and family. Outdoor covered patio was great on a cool summer evening.

Good but not great but it was convenient for a pre-show meal. Bit too warm inside the dining room and the service started out lukewarm at best but eventually things came around. Being a wine bar we weren't completely wowed by either the wine by the glass selections themselves nor the number that were made available(expected a bit more in both areas but was especially disappointed when they were out of the first red one of us selected.....come on, either offer an additional one to add to the others or more preferably replace it with one from the same region which would not have been difficult). Couple courses of tapas & small plates were fair enough but the paella was a step better....it was just missing that key "socarrat" layer of crust that should form on the bottom of the pan of any great example of this dish.

As always the service and food at Teberna were excellent! I love the diversity of the menu and that you can get a meal or several small plates. Drinks were very good as well. We have become regulars, so are always greeted with a big welcome. The wait staff is very attentive, while also being playful. I highly recommend this place!

The food was very good. The service was exceptional and my husband and I had a wonderful dinner for our anniversary. This place ws spotless, very clean. The decor was beautiful and the dining area was beyond romantic. Will definately go again! They also had a lot of convenient parking.

Wonderful selection of small plates on the menu. Grilled calamari with fresh greens and white beans excellent. Mussels fresh and tasty. Wait staff attentive and helpful.

We've reviewed Taberna a number of times and I'm happy to say that for us it still remains the best Latin Fusion cuisine in the Fairfield area.

Had a lovely dinner here, food and service very good, noise level quiet. Ceviche was excellent. Everything very fresh and tasty. We will be back for sure.

Loved this restaurant when it was in Bridgeport but was really disappointed now that it's moved. Food nowhere near as good and the small plates did not come out in a timely fashion. sorry taberna won't be back.
