Food is really good. Very family friendly.
First time at the restaurant. Excellent service. Our table tried 5 different entrees and 2 appetizers and one desert. Everyone enjoyed their food and said they saw other menu items they would like to try. Will definitely be back.
Nice outdoor seating area. Great menu and food for casual dinning. A hidden gem.
Nice little Sports bar.
We ordered the onion rings as a side. The portion was small.
The biscuits and gravy are to die for
the cinnamon roll pancakes are unbelievable
As always - a great visit to Tabards! Food is always amazing, as is the service!
First time there was looking for something different in the OP/Olathe area. While uncertain when pulling up once we got our appetizer we knew we had made a good decision. When we got our food we knew we made a GREAT decision. I had the jambalaya and my wife had the chicken Marsala which we both shared with each other. Chicken Marsala is my favorite dish and I’ve had probably 30 different variations and I without a doubt will say this is top 3 I’ve had in my life! Idk if it was the chicken breaking or just being cooked to perfection but it embodied what the dish should be. My jambalaya was amazing as well but since I don’t have much of a reference I’ll just say it’s the best I’ve ever had :) 10/10 would recommend.
First time for the 4 of us, and we enjoyed our food and adult beverages.
Good food and service
We had an excellent server!
Consistently great every time!
Always a great experience. They’re wonderfully accommodating for those with food sensitivities like me, have a variety of adult beverages to appease my husband, and the kids love the kids’ meals with the special dessert. Also, great, involved management!
Excellent server, no waiting and great patio! Excellent bar drinks and great variety.
The positive - outdoor seating. Otherwise its like a Chili’s
I love that Tabard’s gives me a place I can eat happy and safely with Celiac. The selection of gluten free options is great—love the veggie sandwich, the steak tacos, and the Cajun chicken sandwich!!!
Sorry but we did not enjoy our first visit to Tabards. The music was very loud and and singer was not very good. We did not appreciate him coming to our table asking our names during the break, and giving us his business card.
We all enjoyed our food. The waitress was very slow with our check, probably because she had a large party at the back of the room.
There were 4 of us. I had the shrimp etoufee special, wife had the Asian salad, granddaughter the shrimp linguini and grandson the fish and chips. All were perfect. None of us could finish our meal so you've got to say the portions are generous. The late afternoon sun started streaming in and the only current solution is black shades which, when closed, make it almost too dark. They need venetian blinds or some other way of filtering the sunlight better. That's the only thing I'd change. Otherwise, perfect. (And reasonably priced!)
We met a friend there for Happy Hour. We like to share the various appetizers they offer. We really enjoyed the Chimichanga’s and the Marsala Sliders. Both were excellent. Looking forward to our next time there.
Very good service and another great experience!
A good place to go for good service, good food, cold beer on tap, and a good atmosphere. Highly recommend it.
Everything we have ordered at Tabard’s has been delicious!
The food at Tabards was great as always. Our server wasn’t a shining star though. The place wasn’t crowded but it took a lot of time just for her to come to take drink orders. Service was slow throughout the meal and it seemed like we were imposing on her time.
Father’s Day brunch…potatoes were cold, eggs undercooked, very spicey! Seating in booth was dirty.
We had the cauliflower crust pizza which was excellent!! Mushroom burger was delicious too.
Server, Jess, was attentive and personable!!!
Very good experience!!!
A nice, casual date night experience! Cajun Chicken Sandwich was awesome!
Food is always perfect. You occasionally have very loud groups to no fault of the establishment. Will be back over and over again.
Great spot for great food and fun! The Asian whiskey wings are a must!
Again did not disappoint. Food is full of flavor and presents well. Indulged in the funnel (strips) with ice cream ... oh my goodness, so good. Seriously delicious!
Very nice dining out on the patio
Drinks & food were great. Gf meal was also good and safe
We had a burger and the jerk pork The food was delicious. The Jerk sauce and marinade on the pork was amazing. The sides were also very good. Portions were generous. We will go back.
Very good food
I ordered off the gf menu. The waitress saw I was the only one with a menu exclusively for gf food, I also asked for a regular menu fir my husband because he was not gf. We ordered flat bread from the gf menu and I ordered a southern coffee burger and told her to hold the gf bun and wrap it in lettuce. I also ordered sweet potato fries, not gf, but I told her I could tolerate foods cooked in oil with others items that may have gluten. Our flatbread came out and I ate a bite and realized it was regular flatbread bread not cauliflower and my burger came out with crispy fried onions witch aren’t supposed to be on a gf burger. I picked them off and ate what I could. We went to this restaurant because we heard of all of the gf options. Our waitress apologized and said that I should’ve told her my flatbread should have been gf. I pointed to both things I ordered on the gf menu while ordering. Anyway, in about 24 hours, I’ll have blisters on my hands due to the one bite of non gf flatbread, but it’s my fault because I didn’t tell the waitress to give us gf flatbread, I just pointed to it on the physical gf menu.
Very friendly service and atmosphere. It seems to be a mostly Sysco kitchen, meaning very quickly served food with average quality. The relaxed ambience and good bar service counts for a lot and we'll be back.
Avocado Fries!!! OMG!!! Really great menu with something for everyone! Just GO!!!
I had been to Tabards several times but this was my first time trying their brunch menu. The food did not disappoint. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was the best I have ever had. You can always count on Tabards for excellent food prepared in an unique way.
Great local restaurant that provides a variety of options. Great environment that was clean and felt upscale without the expensive prices. One of the owners took the time to ask us about our experience. I would recommend this place!
We used a reservation on a Friday night around 6 and were seated immediately. Staff was friendly and service was quick. We loved the pretzels appetizer. Probably the best we’ve ever had!!
We had brunch at Tabard's on Sunday and it was just ok. Just like the first time we ever ate there--just OK.
I will say that whenever our food came, there wasn't anything on my plate that was hot. For a restaurant that had just opened for the day--I would think all the food would be hot/fresh, but that wasn't the case. It was very obvious that the bacon that was served had only been reheated rather than freshly made--there wasn't any crisp to it whatsoever. Same with the breakfast potatoes. My third bite of those was cold, so I know they weren't made fresh. Overall, it was food but nothing that would make me want to go back. I see a lot of people talk about how great this place is, and both times we've been it just has hit subpar at best. This probably isn't the place for us.
However, I will say that the cinnamon roll pancakes were good. Rich, so it's not something we ate all of-- but they really were very good. Just doesn't make up for the rest that was lacking.
Also, I would suggest that now that it's patio season (which is where we sat for brunch)--the management may want to take a few minutes to sweep off their patio. The piles and piles of leaves everywhere was a little gross. Especially when there are disposable masks and other pieces of trash tangled up in the mess. Take the extra 10 minutes to sweep it all out and it'll make a noticeable difference, I promise!
Nice hidden gem.
