   My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time at Symposia. Our service was wonderful, Montgomery didn’t let us lift a finger, made sure our glasses were full and had great recommendations. We shared the mussels and Spanish octopus to start. The Spanish octopus was uniquely spiced and perfectly charred, the mussels were succulent and drenched in a light white sauce. For entrées I had the Scottish salmon which was PERFECTLY cooked and the beet purée that came with it completed the dish so well. My boyfriend had the Amish bird which was half of a game hen doused thoroughly in harissa spices that warmed the mouth but didn’t make your nose run which in my opinion is the perfect balance of spicy. With dinner we both had glass of resiling. Overall our experience was really enjoyable and we would absolutely dine here again. Ps there is complimented valet!! I didn’t see that message in the open table app before hand, don’t make my mistake.

   Service was excellent. The starters were all good. The steak was excellent but the lobster bucatini, which was expensive, wasn’t warm and the flavor was so-so.

   We all loved this beautiful restaurant!! Great Ambience - Amazing food with the Best waitress in the motor city!! We made reservations for our Mothers 80th Birthday!! So glad we decided to come here. We would all Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!

   Felt very disrespected throughout the whole dinner in how we were treated in terms of service and prioritizing everyone else around us. Food was phenomenal but when you have service like that, just makes it very hard for a person wanting to go back especially when your preparing to spend more at that place compared to other places.

   The food was just okay. Nothing special. Our waiter wasn’t friendly and the manager was very rude. My steak wasn’t cooked to my liking so when i sent it back the manager came out to my table with the steak i sent back, to point out to me that it was cooked the way I ordered it. He was very rude. If you’re looking for mediocre food and bad service this is the place to be.

   I came to celebrate Valentine’s Day and my birthday that had recently past. The food was awesome and I love the hostess ladies! Our server was okay, he seemed like he was ready to go home and was quite off putting when my friend asked for a dessert to go since he did not do anything or say anything to acknowledge Valentine’s Day or my birthday. He said sighed and said ‘sure’. I would definitely come back but I do not want him to be our server, I don’t even believe he told us his name.

    Honestly, the food was really underwhelming. For $30ish dollars, you get a tiny piece of unseasoned salmon, couscous with zero flavor, and a beet with a fancy sauce. Zero flavor to justify walking away hungry. Would not go again

    Great Valentine’s Day occasion everything from the host, food, well made drinks, manager checking on you, was all amazing. Most of all, our waiter was great. Very knowledgeable of the dishes respectful with a great sense of humor. 10/10.

    Everything was phenomenal! From the wait staff to the food to the ambiance! Even the phone call for the reminder of my reservations was top tier in customer service! Cannot wait to return, because the best thing was the food!! Not only was the presentation great, the flavor was just fantastic!!

    Incredible food, octopus and calamari were insanely good. Such a refreshing combination of flavors. Our waiter who I feel so bad I forgot his name was amazing, gave us a lot of recommendations and was kind, passionate, and helpful. The 16 oz New York strip was amazing too. The compound butter they used was delicious.

    Drinks were excellent. Had Nectar of the Gods. Calimari excellent. Food was superb, as was the dessert. The beet agnolotti was incredible. Our waiter, Montgomery, was top notch, very knowledgeable about menu and wines. I recommend Symposia.

    The 6 of us had a lovely dinner last night. Anthony was our server and he was absolutely fabulous. He had wonderful recommendations and just took great care of our group. I had the Branzino and it was delicious!!!! We would definitely go back when we’re in town.

    We went for New Year's Eve dinner. The host was friendly and accommodating and our server Anthony was very attentive, knowledgeable and personable. The food was outstanding. We had the hummus for an appetizer and filets for the main course. The sides were roasted potatoes and carrots. Everything was top notch. The Greece Lightening drink was also delicious.

    We saw the Christmas Eve feature and thought it would be the perfect ending to a family night at the theater. From beginning to end the service and attention we were shown was impeccable, and don’t get me started on the food! There were 5 in our party and we all managed to grab a bite or two of each others’ meals… WOW. 10/10 and highly recommend for a nice date night or special occasion!

    We loved the food and wine at Symposia! It was delicious and the wine recommendation was fabulous. We would have liked out server to be a bit more attentive but it was still a solid visit. We will definitely be back!
