Great place! Good food at good prices! Great location!
Beautiful scenery, peaceful, great looking food and delicious! Customer service was great as well! The French toast was AMAZING the wings were delicious too will definitely be back
If you want a great little place to eat and/or get a few drinks in a convenient location, this is it. The steak was great for the price, service was prompt and our server polite. It was within walking distance from our hotel and not far from the Riverwalk. Although it has a tavern vibe throughout, the menu has diverse options. Our waitress was very accommodating, as well, and she put together a to go bag for my teenaged son who stayed in the hotel while we went out. Overall, we had a great time even if I wasn’t that fond of the pasta (just a taste preference thing; my b/f loved it). We would come back! 😌
The service and food was great. I’ll definitely be back.
Very good. We had Wings and a Mushroom Swiss Burger. Staff a bit overwhelmed but all part of getting back in the swing of things. Very enjoyable with lots of TV’s for games.
Visit to Chicago
We were seated at the dirty table, water spilled, sticky — server took 20 min to come by — said she didn’t know she was our server, sorry..We got water 30 min into our stay along with the table clean up. Asked server twice before with the same reply “yes, I will get someone to do this”, finally busboy did when I asked the 3rd time. Took 50 min to get our drinks — nothing complicated — ice tea. Our “starter” appetizer arrived when we all but finished our meal, over an hour since order. Super noisy and dingy..Not worth it.
Shortly after everything opened back up so I’ll give benefit of the doubt but initial service was a bit lacking. Waited 15 minutes for initial contact, no plates brought out for a shared appetizer, etc. when brought to managers attention he was very attentive so I appreciate that. Food was great! Drink list very good too.
server and food good. Hostess/mgr did great in accommodating our party of 5. We sat outside away from street but lots of noise from construction in the area.
One person in our party requested her salmon "on the rare side." It was not. Spinach in spinach salads had no flavor at all, fries were pretty cold.
We did not say anything but I'm sure if we would have the mgr would have taken care of it, so our fault for not speaking up.
Overall a good experience.
We were in the area playing tourist for the day. We chose this place because of the location and food options. We were ready to relax as we had been walking forever and we found this a great place to sit back and enjoy a drink before our lunch. We weren't rushed and when the food arrived we chowed down. Very good. No left overs
The service was a bit slow... but I don't think it was the servers fault. I think they might have been suffering from more demand than they could accommodate. Server was very kind and treated us to a complimentary desert to help celebrate co-workers bday.
Food was just ok. Several dishes lacked flavor. Construction noise made conversation difficult
Restaurant was just ok. My mimosa flight was cool instead of cold. Food was decent but not outstanding.
The French toast is delicious!!! I love the mimosa flight too
Menu with plenty of variety. Very good wines on tap as well as draft beers and ales (and some specialty canned/bottled beers -- try the strawberry/basil). One of us had the salad with salmon filet, the other of us had the salmon entree with delicious broccolini and mashed potatoes. The baked-cookie-dough dessert (with ice cream and whipped cream) was fabulous and plenty for two to share. See photo of the dessert and the strawberry/basil beer. Servers were very friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu and the beverages. Setting on the Miracle Mile can't be beat, with excellent views from inside seating as well as the courtyard.
Excellent restaurant! Great food and atmosphere 🤩 I went here with my family and friends twice on my vacation in Chicago.
It was good, really easy to find, good menu and ambiance. It was a little loud outside on a busy street, but really not bad. Great service and tons of outdoor seating
Good service, average tasting but cold food.
Very accommodating for a person with disability
The servers were pleasant and helpful, once they were able to get to us. However, the restaurant was clearly well understaffed. We waited ten minutes before finally approaching the host stand and reminding them we were there. At this point, the baby was making a big enough fuss that I was surprised they hadn't noticed us. One server took our order and relayed part of it to another server. The result was that my food came out quickly, the baby's food came out next and my sister-in-law's food never came. It had apparently never been ordered. By the time her plate finally came my food was cold. Nobody checked back to see if things were OK, but I was able to flag someone down for more coffee. I think that if my food had been hot when I ate it, it would have been good.
good bar style food, nothing fancy, but consistent.
Kinda chose this place randomly, but was really impressed! Super good brunch!
Good spot in the loop!
Celebrated a Birthday. Food was delicious.
Meal was bland at best. Server Kept forgetting our order and coming out to ask us to repeat it. I ordered a Sprite and received a shirley temple, a coke and then another shirley temple. My veggies with my steak were undercooked and not worth trying to eat. Server had 5 tables of 2
Loved it! Food was good and the outdoor seating was fantastic.
Overpriced drinks... food was good
Overall we had a good experience. The service left something to be desired.
Extremely friendly from busboys to servers. Food was good and came quickly, price was right. I would definitely go back.
It was great! The food was great and the service was great! I’ll will definitely return.
Took my family out
The waiter never introduced himself and he was so busy with many tables that my partner and I felt like we weren't taken care of as well as we should have been at an upstanding eatery like Sweetwater. The food was mediocre at best and for the price we paid, the drinks were weak and the food bland.
Our waiter was incredibly pushy and kept begging my husband to order a beer or a breakfast cocktail. The cinnamon roll was hard and crunchy not soft and chewy. The short rib has wasn't made with short rib. The "short rib" was reheated steak that was hard. The whole experience was just yucky and there isn't anyway we will ever be going back.
The service was top notch. We sat at the bar and the bartender Steve waa great!! Would definitely recommend this place for a bite to eat and drinks.
Had brunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended, will definitely return.
Food got myself and my date sick.
Server was not good. Didnt even know we ate our meals. Very loud in there. Wouldn't reccomend for a quiet dinner. Prices weren't bad though.
The burger was rare, as requested. Most places don’t get it right.
The signature cocktails weren’t anything to rave about. The menu selection was good, but the entree’s aren’t top of line in taste or quality.
Overall I wouldn’t rave about this place, but is nice and comfortable dining experience
Food was decent. Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious. Service was terrible and they weren’t that busy. 4/10
