fantastic food and service. The naan is spectacular, lamb rogan josh is great, mango chicken as well.

We have dined at Swagat Indian restaurant in Morrisville many times. During the pandemic, we started getting pickup orders more frequently. Swagat is not far from our home so it became our go to restaurant for Indian food. Saturday, we celebrated my husbands birthday at Swagat. Our dinner reservation was at 5:45. We did not receive our main course until almost 6:30. During that time, the restaurant was not crowded so I’m not sure why our meal was delayed. Our waiter did not check on us to bring us water, while we waited. After we received our food, our waiter was more attentive. That said, the food was delicious as always. Swagat’s food is consistently good. I plan to continue to order takeout from Swagat.

The most delicious Indian food in the RTP area! The owner still does much of the cooking & it is outstanding. We love the Rogan Josh, Sag Paneer and the Butter Chicken but everything is wonderful. The Naan arrives hot out of the oven. I also recommend the Manchurian cauliflower on the appetizer menu - if you haven’t tried it — check that dish out! 5 star Indian without the 5 star price!

We love swaggat. Usually th fo0d and service are 5 star However this time our service was terrible. Slow! Took forever ever aer we ordered wine to find out the were out. We ordered another glass that again came to us very slowly. We never received complimentary crackers. Tables that came after us finished before we got our food we are sad to have experienced this at one of our go tos

Everything is fresh and delicious, and the service is prompt and friendly, and the owners friendly and helpful regarding spice level and other questions . The tandoori chicken is very moist and I love the paneer tikka and it is particularly delicious here with lots of veggies. The butter chicken is really good with a mild nutty creamy flavor.

The food was okay, standard fare, nothing special. The service was some of the worst I’ve ever had. Had to ask for water refills, took over an hour to get any kind of food. We were constantly ignored by staff. One member even took my menu and gave it to someone else before taking my order. I was so disappointed.

This was our first time at Swagat and are glad we tried it out. We were seated right away and drink orders were taken. We were given plenty of time to look over the menu. Our waiter was great, he asked what kind of food we were interested in and the spice level. My wife got a chicken dish that was a little spicy and I got a lamb dish that made my nose run (perfect!!). We also ordered an appetizer, but our waiter recommended the chili chicken. It was a great recommendation. All the food was served hot and fresh. And it was also plentiful as we had to take quite a bit of it home with us. If you are looking for an authentic Indian cuisine restaurant, Swagat should be on you short list of places to try.
