   A very enjoyable experience this evening. The food was expertly presented. It was delicious. The ambience was very good. The waiter, Kohei, gave impeccable service in a professional and non intrusive manner. I will return to this restaurant. A rare find in Soho. Good value too for food and service of this quality.

   We had the omakase and it was outstanding - Japan levels of quality in London for a very reasonable price. I haven’t found anywhere in London that has this high quality sushi at this price. Amazing experience.

   This was my first visit to the restaurant with my girlfriend. I decided to surprise her for her birthday by taking her to a place we had been wanting to try for a while. She absolutely loved it! We both felt very welcomed and were excited to try the specials and the omakase. I highly recommend getting the omakase when you visit this restaurant!

   This restaurant has the potential to be truly exceptional. The quality of the food, especially the sushi, is outstanding—some of the freshest and most flavorful I’ve had, even compared to other renowned spots. While the prices are on the higher side, they are justified by the caliber of ingredients and craftsmanship. However, a few aspects detracted from the overall experience. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired; as a sushi bar, the focus is understandably on the chefs, but the bare wall behind them feels unfinished and could benefit from thoughtful decor to enhance the dining environment. Additionally, the karaoke bar downstairs, while a fun feature, was unexpectedly loud during our visit. The dining space was also noticeably warm and slightly humid, which is an easy fix but worth mentioning. Service was courteous but overly insistent. Upon being seated, we were repeatedly pressured into ordering the omakase, despite clearly expressing a preference to order à la carte due to my husband’s dietary restrictions and personal tastes. The staff’s persistence bordered on uncomfortable, especially when they dismissed our concerns by insisting the chefs would choose for us—even after mentioning allergies. It felt less like a recommendation and more like an upsell tactic. Ironically, we tend to spend more when ordering individually, so this approach was unnecessary and left a negative first impression. That said, once we moved past that interaction, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal itself. With a few adjustments to the ambiance and a more considerate approach from the staff, this restaurant could easily reach the next level. The food alone makes it worth visiting, but there’s room for improvement in the overall dining experience.
