Nice new local Westport Restuarant located on Main St. Noise level inside is rather high with sound bouncing off the walls. Outside balcony presents a more relaxed and calm atmosphere. Waiter was pleasant however not attentive forgetting to check on our table and leaving empty glass and finished platters on the table. Hostess made an extra effort to check on our table and asked for honest feedback as the restaurant works on improvements. One item had to be sent back as it was poorly prepared however was replaced with a fresh delicious hand roll. Quality control should have occurred in the kitchen before the plate was delivered to the table. Given that the restaurant is just opened, we will give it another try.

Special rolls were not outstanding. Timing of the food was inconsistent with certain dishes coming out very fast and others requiring a LOT of time. Seating process was pretty disorganized when we arrived. Ambiance outside was OK, but we won't be rushing back.

Not sure where to even start. It was by the worst service we've ever had in Westport. Our waiter kept asking us to pass him dishes, didn't understand us when ordering and also made zero recommendations when we asked food related questions. It was as if we were at a takeout restaurant and just needed to pick something. While all the food tasted good - the portions were laughable and the sushi rolls were rolls scewed with the tiniest amount of rice. We had to order additional noodle dishes at the end to fill us up and go elsewhere for dessert. We will likely not be returning. As I watched the manager walk table to table to see how people's meals were but skip us, perhaps because we were with kids but as someone who was in the restaurant business, it was no excuse. Zero service, the most thinly cut sashimi pieces you'll ever eat and really unwelcoming staff.

Food is great as is the atmosphere. It's too noisy for my taste but I loved the food and interesting selection of sushi. Fresh beyond belief

The food is good. It’s very expensive and the service is terrible. I’ve dined twice now - once when it first opened on a weekend night with a large group and the restaurant was busy, so I expected poor service. But this time it was a quiet 6pm weekday and a table of 2. We had to flag down our server several times to even order a drink, or order food. Order was not correct, things showed up in the wrong quantities. We asked twice for the check. It was just really unfortunate. I’m not sure I would go back.

What a welcome space on Main Street! Well designed in a way reflecting Japanese esthetics. It is peaceful dining experience that allows you to focus on conversation and enjoy the food. The shashimi we had for lunch was excellent, as was the fried Udon with shrimp. Very reasonably priced.
