   My family went several times. This was our favorite sushi place when we lived in Greenville. Always fresh. We would get it delivered during COVID as well.

   While there are better Sushi restaurants in Greenville, this one still definitely falls in the top 3 in my opinion. It's a good place for a date night. I don't think i would recommend for a special occasion though. Overall good food, pretty good location, good ambiance.

   I have visited Sushi Hana several times before, but this will be my last visit. The service was horrendous and they didn't seem to care! Upon taking our seats, we were only one of four parties in the entire restaurant. The 'chef' behind the sushi bar was carrying on and entertaining those who sat directly in front of him as he completely ignored orders for the folks sitting at the tables. Oh, except for one table, they appeared to be friends of our server, arrived well after we did, and of course, they got their food before anyone else. Our entrees finally made it out to our table in to-go boxes after several complaints as we watched him prepare boat loads of sushi for his immediate audience. The sad part is that the food we did get to eat (apps, etc.) were fantastic (can't mess up edamame). If you go, sit right up under his nose and I'm sure you will have a much better experience.

   My husband and I were treated to a date at Sushi Hana and received a gift certificate from a friend. We ordered the house cold Sake and a variety of sushi. Overall, the food was good and we got more than we could finish. The music was a little loud for our liking but the service was great. We enjoyed that the restaurant was not busy and stressful.

   Our Anniversary dinner was all we could wish for. Beautifully prepared fresh Sushi and a lovely waitress. Everyone wished us well and were generous with the food and the service. We will come back for sure.

   Food was delicious. We had a new waitress so there were a few miscues there, but nothing major. Biggest frustration was when we got to the restaurant and they had no idea we were coming. Everything seemed fine through OpenTable but they informed us upon arrival that they had stopped using OT a few months ago. It wasn’t a big deal, as they were able to still seat us immediately. Could have been a lot worse had we showed up expecting no wait because of our ‘reservation’ and they were very busy.

   I really wanted to like this place. The hostess sat us so fast I could barely give her my name and then while we were sitting down she asked what we wanted to drink...odd. She brought us 2 waters and then never came back (but I could see her staring into space by the kitchen). She was waiting on other tables so she was obviously not just a hostess. Finally I flagged down a different server - she was apologetic and while still "rushy" got our orders to us quickly. We had miso soup first, which was tasty but not hot enough and then assorted sushi which was good...rice a bit "swollen" - maybe overcooked? and then no wasabi or ginger on the plate? At that point it was sort of..."let's finish this up and get on home". A disappointment because there's nothing better than finding a strip mall sushi joint that nails it - this is not one of them...

   We decided that before the Peace Center “date night” we’d try something different than the typical Main Street Greenville fare. Not being from Greenville, we had a hard time finding this restaurant. We called and they kept telling us it was “Directly next to Barnes and Noble”...which it isn’t. It’s in the entire strip mall next to them! . But we persevered and found the place- and it was worth it. We were greeted cheerily by the staff and the sushi chefs....and the food was worth waiting for. WE both had “baked rolls” and along with the seaweed salad - these were enough for us hearty eaters. The wine pours were generous and economical. Mainly, the place is clean, friendly and welcoming. GO.

    Nothing great about this place. Nothing fresh or special offered, as evidenced by the laminated menus. I had 3 appetizers (grilled whole squid, fried baby October, grilled hamachi Kama) and each was way over cooked.
