   Most of the food was nice, one dish was Luke warm rather than hot. We should have ordered some veggies - none of the dishes came with a trace of veggies. The service was excellent. We had a family emergency at the end of the meal and they quickly made our dessert take-away.

   Very cosy menu covers everyone's taste very pleasant each share plate is served in a timely manner it's a overall wonderful food experience.

   Delicious and interesting combinations of flavours. The share plate concept is very enjoyable. Excellent service and atmosphere. Reasonably priced good wine.

   We enjoyed a meal at Suq last Saturday night. Our booking was for 6pm which worked very well. The restaurant was quiet between 6-7pm and then became busy. It was lovely to start our meal quietly and then at 7pm to enjoy a busy feel as the restaurant filled with people. The service was excellent and the food was very enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

    My wife and I visited on a Saturday night. The staff, including the chef, were extremely accomodating and pleasant. Every dish was well presented and well cooked. The quality of each ingredient was good, but overall, the menu was strained. We found it difficult to order complimenting dishes and as I had read in a number of reviews, we found that many of the dishes were not well adapted as small serve/tapas/share plates. Another thing we had read and did experience was that the waiters asked 'how was your meal (or plate) too often. My honest opinion is that chef and the kitchen staff are very caring and talented but lack confidence and are trying to please everyone, but in doing so, have not established a forthright menu. It's unfortunate because of the effort, the skill and the care are all present - what's missing is congruency. I would recommend Suq with reservation

    Hi Hayden, Thankyou for your feedback. We are not a tapas or small plates restaurant, sometimes other websites add that to their description of us. We are a multi-cuisine share plate restaurant with each dish made for two people to share and enjoy together allowing them to try more. Since opening 4 years ago we've received a great response and consistent 5 star reviews that encourage us to keep creating amazing food. We do appreciate your compliments and positive criticism.
