   I’ve eaten at Superior Grill several times but this was my first time experiencing unsatisfactory service. After being seated our server came and asked for drink and app orders. At some point after this we inquired about getting another chair to place extra items we were carrying. They never brought a chair (no biggie) but the server was noticeably agitated when we made the request and never came back to ask for our entree orders. We asked for the manager who appeared shortly but when we mentioned our issue with the server he immediately responded nothing was wrong with the server. He also stated he was aware we asked for a chair but never addressed the request. We explained to the manager we were headed to a movie and because of the long wait we weren’t sure we would order entrees. He assured us he would get the orders out right away. The orders arrived within a reasonable amount of time. Also at this time, one of our group mentioned their spicy margarita lacked spice so the manager gladly offered to fix it for her. When we received the bill, his fix was charging an extra $7 dollars that he never mentioned. We were running late so didn’t have time to address this. As a manager he should made it clear by stating there would be an up charge. In short, the manager did nothing to address our concerns except get our food out timely which was more about making revenue for the restaurant than customer service. Do better Superior Grill.

   I love superior usually but last night the staff was insanely rude. It was super disappointing. However, the food was better than usual!

   atmosphere is amazing and conducive to large groups. service is good. no complaints w service. food was edible but not flavorful; arrived to table Luke warm. very disappointed in food quality, especially since this place has a lot of great characteristics that support it being an excellent restaurant. i hope you guys will improve the food quality.

   I thought i booked for Superior Grill Seafood and booked for the Mexican Restaurant, so we had to make adjustments to our expectations . Food was good , Server was excellent

    Tex Mex joints don’t necessarily come to mind as must visit restaurants when in New Orleans, but Superior Grill is just that for me. Take the St.Charles streetcar from the CBD/FQ, enjoy the scenery and hop off at Foucher for great Tex mex food and amazing margaritas. The go-to order is a top shelf margarita (half frozen and half rocks) and any one of the fajita offerings. Worth the trip to the Garden District.
