Chef Stacé of Sunflower Café is keeping the tastes of France in Bayport, serving authentic French Cuisine with fragrant and farm fresh ingredients. Enjoy an absolutely delicious selection of French classics like Moules Frites, Clams Casino, French Onion Soup, and our signature homemade Quiches. On Sunday you can look forward to an early dinner of Escargot, Oysters Rockefeller, Frog Legs, Rack of Lamb, succulent Roasted Duck L'Orange, or a juicy Steak Au Poivre.     A lovely “haunt” locally. Love everything about this restaurant. The folks, the ambiance, the service and of course the food. My husband and I always enjoyed LeSoir and were very apprehensive about Sunflower in the beginning, For sure they have quelled that feeling and we have been there several times, Brunch is delicious and certainly we enjoy every minute of dinner. From the delicious bread that comes to your table (without extra charge) to the Entres that are wonderful. Visit this great little place for sure!

    The food and service was excellent. Everything was really good. I went there for brunch on Sunday. They have excellent baked items as well like croissants and desserts. They also had a really good drink. It was sort of a mimosa, but it was excellent.

    Extremely slow service with no apology. Waited an hour for a mediocre salad and charged us for bread on the table which we needed because we were starved from waiting so long. Would never return

    The muscles were very good and meaty. We have the curry flavor. I had the peppercorn steak very tender, but a little spicy And the soft shell crab was very good The dessert was exceptional The halibut was very good. Our waitress was wonderful, but the service was a little slow

    We love Sunflower Cafe’s food. Be prepared as the noise level can be very high. Also, don’t make any plans for after dinner as the kitchen is very slow. We arrived at 6:30 and did not get our main courses until almost 8.

    Nice place and I will try this place again. The CrabCake was crispy, nice balance of crab meat, worth trying and worth my return. Only thing lacking was presentation and how was garnished... I normally judge a Restaurant by the quality of their Crab cake. I however this time I was perplexed, the food and preparation was below expectations. I will however return to give SunFlower Cafe&Bakery a second try. My feeling it was an off day. I’ll be back with a second review

    Lovely restaurant with great service and food. The beef orange salad was amazing, and the duck was cooked perfectly. Great selections of house made desserts that were all divine. We will definitely be back!

    The food at Sunflower Cafe does not disappoint. The cocktails are creative and so great! We had muscles as an appetizer and the sauce they were in was simply delicious. The service is excellent and personalized. The restaurant is beautifully updated as well.
