Sunday Brunch: 10:30am - 2:00pm
Tuesday - Sunday 6:00pm - 9:00pm
We loved everything about this place! The service was outstanding! The raw oyster bar was to die for, my husband was in heaven! I loved the crepe station and bottomless bellinis, what a treat! We cannot wait to return next year!
We took my sister to Sundy House for the Sunday Brunch Buffet to celebrate her birthday. The hostess gave us a lovely table next to a wall of glass overlooking beautiful foliage surrounding a koi-filled pond. Everything was perfect, the selection of food items, the service, music and ambience of the Sundy House, all of which keep us returning.
Cool place, super expensive food but it’s really good
We were there celebrating a birthday. This is the second time we had reservations for dinner while the restaurant was hosting a wedding. All efforts were put towards making the wedding amazing, however it left the service lacking for regular dinning guests.
While the place is beautiful the food is mediocre, nothing special. It was fine but for those prices you’d expect more. It was my second time, for a special celebration, and thought the same thing last time. I do think it’s outrageous to charge for parking $7. I was there for a Saturday brunch.
From the reception to the conclusion, this was truly a great experience. The staff, was VERY attentive, and truly paid attention to detail. The only issue we had was not controllable. The outdoor elements attract mosquitoes due to the large ponds of water. If you elect to sit outside, do yourself a favor and use a repellent on your legs if you opt to wear a dress or shorts. The gazebos are equipped with ceiling fans, so it helps to deter the insects, but we still went home with smiles on our faces....and bites on our legs.
Checking out Delray area with relatives and had been there 15 years ago! Thought I’d take my guests there! Everyone very happy with food, grounds, and service! We had the al a carte Saturday brunch. Excellent!
The experience was the most fantastic time (dining) I have ever had. This was the second time I was there for the Sunday buffet. The service was out of this world ...thought I was the only one there. The Raw bar was super. While the price was on the heavy side it was well worth it. We plan on going every chance we get ....
I have eaten all over the world and this is by far the best buffet, or restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of .
Please take advantage of it ... you will not be disappointed !!
Rich K Boynton Beach, Fl
Went for mother in laws brunch. We ate outside. The extensive tree cover, water and gazebo with fan kept the temperature down until it really started to bake late in the afternoon. Definitely a top 10 brunch in South Florida (Miami to Palm Beach)
Everything was amazing! Food, staff, drinks, and people!!
Without a doubt, the most incredible dining experience here in Delray. We were told it was a must, but no one told us about the backyard. Absolutely amazing. As the sun went down it became even more unique.....and a romantic setting.
Then came the food and we were again in awe. We each ordered a different special and we were not disappointed. There was not one thing we would change..... from the greeting, the staff, the food, the price and the surprise of beautiful vegetation in the backyard this is a must. Thank you for giving us a fabulous evening. See you again
this brunch was delightful...The staff was very welcoming.. very pleasant... our server was not super attentive.. kind of disappeared.. we had to ask someone putting chairs away if we could have coffee.. but perhaps she wasn’t feeling well.
The food.. a nice spread.. You don’t leave hungry for sure!
The setting at Sundy House is exquisite and charming. The food served for Sunday brunch was delicious and varied, and our server Matthew provided exceptional and very professional service. Sundy House is a unique property and is perfect for sharing a tropical dining experience with out-of-town guests. It is beautifully landscaped and on a cool day or night, it is a real treat to dine outside. When it's hot, stay inside and enjoy the a/c!!
Beautiful outdoor setting
I loved the buffet. Great choices. Great ambiance service and value. Highly recommended.
Ambiance was amazing as the grounds are beautiful and unique. We were there for father's day brunch so we were expecting rushed service, however our waitstaff was not very engaged or attentive--somewhat aloof. Other staff on the grounds was nice though. We were expecting a bit better quality of food but it wasn't that bad. The eggs benedict bread was not very good and the salmon was ok. The bread pudding was amazing. Overall the place was so quaint that we may go back for regular brunch and give it one more try.
A true hidden gem. Ambience was great, the food selection was excellent. Unlimited mimosas, a bonus!
Reconnecting with old friends.
Very disappointing. Restaurant had a wedding party and so had closed off most of their dining rooms. Seated in what could be described as a basement décor. No ambiance. When expressed my disappointment was told by management 'you should ask us if we have a wedding before you make your reservation'. They called me three times to have me confirm my reservation but at no time mentioned the party and closing of their "nice" dining spaces. Too many choices to dine at to patronize a place that has such a poor regard for their patrons. I understand why there were only 3 other occupied tables on a Saturday night. If this is typical their long ago earned reputation will not last long.
Although we have lived in Delray over 30 years, this was our first visit to Sundy House and we absolutely loved it. Amazing location, service and food!
Overall we had an excellent experience! We just felt the $75 Brunch price was very high and should be closer to $50 to $60 per person excluding tip which added at 20%.
Hands down BEST brunch in Palm Beach County
brunch was great , large selection bottomless
drinks, good service
for real a mango fell and hit me in the head and shoulder, I spoke with the manager and I thought is response was proper, but you really need to trim every mango---if an 80 yt old or very young individual was hit like I was, it could present a Hugh problem for your establishment. no problem from me but it was a hard hit
Went for Sunday Brunch and enjoyed every single thing we ate. Would definitely recommend going with a very empty stomach! Service staff was excellent all around.
the restaurant needed a major cleaning; the carpet runner was very dirty and need vacuuming. The window sill next to the table was fiflthy and needed dusting; we moved tables and the next table actually had an eaten bone on the window sill and the flower on the table WAS DEAD!
After I spoke to the manager and he apologized he gave us a round of drinks on them. The food was good but a bit expensive.
We don't think we will be going back again
beautiful setting and wonderful and creative food. If you are like me and enjoy a good and interesting cocktail before dinner, they have a nice selection. The mezcal old fashioned was delicious. Great server.
Beautiful location, food good as always, however service is not that great. They should consider proper staffing.
Absolutely beautiful setting, delicious food, great service. You can't ask for more. We are already planning our next visit to Sundy House.
Disappointed because it was rainy day. We did not get to see the beauty of the venue.
Amazing food and service! I will definitely be going back
We went to celebrate two graduations we were a party of 7 , the table was lovely, the food was great, the service was nothing to speak of. For a Tuesday night in Delray, we could have chosen anywhere to celebrate, but we choose the Sundy house, because of past dining experiences. The server was disinterested, and seemed annoyed. She basically went through the motions, but did nothing to enhance the experience. Perhaps, she knew 20% was automatically tacked on for her tip, she felt no need to be attentive, or friendly ?
We will choose differently in the future for our family celebrations. Disappointing
I would never recommend this restaurant. It is been written up as one of the best brunches in delray and that could not be further from the truth. The food was bland and while there was a variety, it certainly was not anything special. The champagne was in fact prosecco. For $75 I expected all types of coffee to be included, but was mistaken- lattes and cappuccinos were extra. The raw bar was tasteless, as were the salads. There was a poor variety of options for the omelet station and the highlight of the pancake station was that it had Nutella. In addition, they charge a mandatory 20% service fee (for us $30) for a waitress to only bring drinks. So all in all almost $200 for a pile of crappy food.
Food was creative and well presented. Our waiter, Andre, was friendly and professional. A truly enjoyable experience.
Nice Saturday breakfast with Mom and sis!
Family get together for Mother's Day. We were seated at a outside Gazebo at a table for 8 and it was just perfect. Beautiful setting and the food was delicious.
Pre-Mother's Day celebration with friends. Sundy House's Saturday brunch is delicious!
Wonderful meal and attentive service in a beautiful garden setting.
Beautiful exotic atmosphere tucked away in downtown Delray. Great food. Will definitely go again.
