Great first time experience here! Love the location and the food was amazing. I always appreciate brunch, but a place that has a vegan brunch option will always work it's way to the top if my list! The service was great as well!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and visit here. The wait staff was top notch, on top of everything and extremely friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding. I had the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and quite honestly I am ready to go back and have it again. We got to enjoy the gorgeous weather and ambiance on the rooftop, I can see this becoming a new favorite spot of mine. I'll be coming back very soon!
2 Servers for the entire rooftop patio was not enough....we felt like we were waiting for service a lot. We had a great time and our server was very nice.
We had a lovely time dining on the rooftop patio!
Awesome brunch experience!
Had a pitcher of mimosa and some pesto flatbread.
The flatbread was cheesy and delicious!
Mimosas were also great.
The service was very accommodating and friendly.
Patio was very comfortable as well.
I had a great time!
Sundown was a great find, for me and my friends, as a frequent brunch destination. It never disappoints, and we'll continue to visit.
Service was bad and pushy even though we told her we were waiting for a friend before we ordered. She then proceeded to say “hope he gets here before the kitchen closes!” When we had a full 2 hours before it closed. So 3/4 of us were forced to order making me order the first thing i saw that i absolutely didn’t actually want. So i barely ate. Also served with plastic cups when i saw other tables with glassware? Definitely no reason to ever go back.
You're here for the patio and ambiance for sure. I wouldn't say the food was bad, but it didn't necessarily live up to its cost.
Unfortunately we did not have a pleasant experience at this establishment. We arrived about 10min early for our reservation (7pm on a Saturday night) and were seated right away. Great start we thought. However we didn’t see any staff member for approximately 15 minutes after the hostess seated us. We finally got waters and then it took another 10mins to meet our waitress who took our drink and appetizers order. We could see some waitstaff moving with all the speed of a sedated sloth and our waitress running from table to table. We finally got our drinks about 20mins after the waitress took the order, but only after she had to come to us and admit she put the wrong order in for us and the kitchen was remaking it. So now 45mins in and only getting one drink we decided to just call it a draw, pay for the two drinks and leave, but we couldn’t find any waitstaff. So after about 5 more minutes we stopped a runner and asked for a manager.
When the manager finally arrived after another five minutes (and we know the timeframe because we had nothing else better to do but time them) she basically was dismissive and actually rude. She came across like “I just need to placate these people to get two new people in the seats”. As people who enjoy dining out again after a year, it was extremely disappointing. We won’t be back
Service was unbelievably horrible. It took over an hour to get our food despite it not being very busy. The waiter was rude and refused to let us move tables before we were seated saying “we don’t allow table requests” and then proceeded to let other people sit there 15 minutes later. The food arrived cold and had to be sent back after speaking to a manger. Their sandwiches and burgers are $14 (way overpriced) and do not come with fries or sides (an additional +$3) - will not be returning and will make sure all of my friends and family in the area know to pick somewhere else.
Did not manage the reservation list well and had filled up the inside. We’re seating reservations outside on the patio in a wind storm and open awnings. In 50 degree weather you need to have better preparations. Also, don’t take reservations if you cannot accommodate. I specifically chose no patio when making a reservation.
Fun Patio dinner with friends. Would have loved some live music. Service was friendly and good...though orders came out not in the order we asked (misunderstanding) and one order was wrong all together. But we rolled with it. Enjoyed it overall.
The service was fine. It's the hostesses are always so rude. I come here often and it's always this way. Makes me not want to return.
Service was awful for an empty restaurant. Waiter was so nice and sweet but everything was so slow.
Excellent service and perfect brunch menu/drinks/ambiance! Will be back very soon!
Great food and service! Will definitely be back! We sat on the patio and it was perfect!
Happy hour service was very slow
Favorite outdoor brunch spot in Dallas.
Sundown is one of the go-to places in Lower Greenville and offers some amazing plates! We always get the Ahi Tacos and they are so crisp and fresh, I think about them for several days after our visit. The Sundown Burger is really good, the bun is toasted and not alot of bread, so it's perfect. The sweet potato fries are really tasty. This is a must check out type of a place!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere, staff and food, their sweet potato hash is amazinggggg!!
It was a wonderful brunch w/ friends!! The atmosphere is gorgeous!!
This was an amazing day and meal. We will definitely be back to try more things on the menu while enjoying the patio.
I wasn’t told there was a difference in outdoor seating. Sat without a heater in the 40s. We ordered martinis and they came out in 25 cent plastic cups and the portions were small. All of our food was rather cold and was subpar. Overall had the potential to be a great place because the venue is good, however the lack of heating and poor quality food/drinks spoiled the night for us.
Great fish tacos and great restaurant!!
Good drink specials but food was lacking and very basic.
Fun time as we break out from the pandemic blues. Had our 2nd shot 2 1/2 weeks before the show. It was time to get out. This was a great spot.
Great service and yummy food.
Food and drinks were great!! The live music provided the perfect ambiance. Will definitely return.
This was such a great place to have a Galentine's brunch. My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves and the food was great. Plus, fabulous drink specials!
Our server was on her first day and she was amazing. Nice job to the entire staff.
Good food, good service and they have $9 mimosa carafes at brunch.
Expect to wait a long time. Food was amazing but service was horribly bad. Had to wait for about 50 minutes for our food. My girlfriend’s sweet tea tasted alcoholic and we sent it back just to get the same drink back again. I was skeptical when my girlfriend said it was alcoholic and I even had a little debate with her that they wouldn’t purposely do it twice. I ended up chugging the “sweet tea” to prove that it only “tasted a little off” and not alcoholic as she had suggested. The drink was definitely alcoholic as I got a good buzz midway through my meal.
Very disappointed but I didn’t want to cause a scene so we ate and left as soon as we could. After our food came, the waitress was no where to be seen till our check came. Highly disappointed. Most likely will never eat here again. Sorry for the bad review but it’s as honest as I can be.
We had a wonderful evening at this place and would love to come back soon!
Everything was wonderful!
Thanks for the yummy food. ♥️
Courtney is the best! The sweetest and most personable girl. Food was amazing and my whole family loved it!! So many options from gluten free to vegan, and everything in between!
Best to come when it’s not busy. We came around 2pm. Had to go to the host stand to get a server as we were sitting for quite a bit of time (more than 20 minutes). Server came to our table twice and took awhile to get our drinks. We were also celebrating a birthday and requested a desert be brought out but that didn’t happen either. Atmosphere is great! Service was a miss and we were a table of 3 people.
Love this place. It’s a vibe. Nice music. Boho zen land.
Best happy hour prices! Food is great!
Service was a little slow but the food made up for it!
Sunday Sunday! Large tv for football and live music for happy hour
Love the atmosphere and the food is delicious! Staff is super nice and attentive. Will definitely be coming back :)
