The atmosphere is very clubby with fireplaces, dark wood, sports memorabilia and plush leather booths tucked into the many nooks throughout the dining room. Famous for their slow-roasted prime rib & hand-cut U.S.D.A Prime Steaks, they also offer fresh seafood, cold water lobster tail & succulent shellfish. The 20 oz. Sundance always produces a terrific dinner. The steaks and fish entrees are cooked to perfection and side dishes of creamed spinach and backed potato are a must for us, If you have room try the mud pie...big enough for tow to share. The service is efficient and unobtrusive. They make you feel welcome.

We went specifically for the slow roasted prime rib, and let me tell you, it was amongst some of the best prime rib I have had traveling the country. Mouth water flavor and so tender, you could cut it with a fork. Superb selection of wine and amazing side dishes, soups, and salads. Probably the best meal during my two week visit to Palo Alto.

It was a great place to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and I’m so glad I found the restaurant! It was our first time there and our server Jay was incredibly helpful with explaining the menu and answering my question and really added to the positive experience we had! Cant wait to come back again!

Sundance is always great. We arrived early for our reservation and they sat us down 15 minutes before our reservation time with our bottle decanted and waiting for us at the table. I appreciate that level of service

I haven't had prime rib in a long time so I don't know what counts as good anymore, but I wish I had ordered a steak. I might recommend it to a person who is looking for a steakhouse in the neighborhood.

Thank you for a great celebratory meal. Waiter Tommy was attentive and fantastic. We appreciated the birthday acknowledgment. Our only comment is that our table was near the kitchen and you could smell the disinfectant at times. Glad things are clean, not a super great complement to my champagne or steak. Have already recommended it to friends this morning as a great place to go to honor and celebrate someone.

We were celebrating our anniversary. My husband had the bone-in ribeye and I had the prime rib. Both were outstanding. Our server was the epitome of perfect service. The staff were all so good at what they do. We will back more often!

We had excellent service by all wait staff. They were constantly circulating and checking on us. The steaks were cooked perfectly and they tasted delicious!! We will be back again!

Great prime rib! We call to reserve the prime rib coz they ran out last time. The dinner went perfect, service was wonderful, food was delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly, taste was on spot. I always come here thinking this is a replacement of House of Prime rib since impossible to get a table there. But honestly the prime rib at Sundance is as good or even better than House of Prime rib.
