    Celebrating Father’s Day. Hostess needs to smile and not act put out when guests arrive. Service was very very slow. From the time we arrived, It took a half hour to get our drinks, 1 hour to get our salads and another half hour to get our entrees. I asked for a medium rare steak and it was on the well side and very dry. Not what I expect from Sullivans. I rarely send back food but this time I did and everyone at the table was done with their food by the time the server asked me if I ever got my steak?? I had sides on my plate they took back but did not get the sides on the return plate. Next took 35 minutes to get our dessert. Needless to say I was not happy with our experience. I rarely give reviews but this was definitely worth mentioning. All my other experiences with Sullivans have been outstanding so I am hoping this was just a bad day.

    Service was slow. Constantly asking for refills on drinks. Lobster either over cooked (on a couple) or under cooked on one. Steak was tasty. Don’t know if waitress was that busy… she did try. But she was rarely at table to check on us. She also made a huge mistake on bill, that was corrected. I usually give a lot of leeway to service being a hard job, but it was very noticeable we did not get much attention by all of us at the table. I recommend they get larger drinking glasses for water and other beverages or put a nice pitcher of drinks on the table to help the waiters and waitresses with service.  Nice place, just not a good evening for us at the table.

    The food was very good. Sadly, can’t say the same for our server, Jose. We had to ask for water repeatedly, he forgot our butter, we also had to ask for refills on our lemonade, and we had to wait a good while for our check. The restaurant was not full; there were plenty of empty tables. This was our first time visiting, and we are willing to return because the food was very good, but we’ll be quick to ask that we not be served by the same person. When someone pays $280 for a nice dinner, the service should be better than what we experienced.

    Great evening as we were greeted by Carol Devine the GM when we arrived. After being seated, Lady our server, was a delight in reviewing menu options and taking our wine order. Dinner was tasty, prepared to our tastes and very enjoyable. Afterwards, desert was presented in a dish stating “Happy Birthday” as it was a nice touch to wish my wife birthday greetings. Looking forward to dining at Sullivans again going forward. 👍

    Another lovely evening at Sullivan's for Father's Day. Service and ambiance was great again. This was our second time here in two weeks. Husband had the bisque, ribeye and cheesecake for desert--everything was prepared perfectly. He said bisque was best he's had in the valley. I had the market green salad (so fresh and a generous portion), 6 oz filet (great flavor, but a bit chewy), and key lime pie (legit). Our server brought out portions of every steak sauce offered to try--very fun and it elevated our experience. We also enjoyed the romantic old jazz standards played in the restaurant.

    My husband used to go to Sullivan’s in Charlotte, North Carolina, and always ranted and raved about it. I came with my daughter and it was absolutely. Will definitely come back.
