Walls had patches of paint missing, hanging wires on the wall and women’s restroom was out of order for renovations (sign said to use Publix restroom).
Restaurant seemed dirty.
Asked waiter for lemon for the calamari - never got it and needed to go to the bar to get some. HATED that the gratuity was automatically added to bill, even on a single eater. I understand large parties but the service was horrible and the wait staff knew they’d get 18% automatically so the attention was lacking.
Calamari was super rubbery and chewy.
Drinks were large but was full of ice!!! So because of that, it isn’t worth it.
I wouldn’t recommend 😕
We had a great time but they were out of some food and drink selections. Desserts we yummy but the food was just average, we ended up with a couple burgers and chicken tenders. The sundaes and milk shakes were good but it’s just a little pricey for what they have. Our server was great a very helpful with alternatives.
We had reservations and waited 30minutes past because they were “waiting on the next shift to get here”. We waited 1.5 hours for food that was cold and wings were burnt. They couldn’t accommodate my son’s food allergy by leaving cheese off some of the sliders and cheese on the other portion as we were splitting the entree. Candy store was almost empty in every container and several broken and exposed. The floor was filthy and coated in grease to the point your chair would slide across it. Dessert was great and experience was fun, but the remainder was not a good experience.
The worst food and hospitality in town.
We were so excited to go to the Sugar Factory but were quickly let down. This overpriced restaurant was filthy, the women’s restroom was out of order, our food took over an hour, our server was complaining how he got triple sat and we had to ask for refills, boxes, etc. We spent over 2 hours in this poorly run restaurant for lunch and couldn’t get out of this dump quick enough. Will not be back.
We went for my daughter's birthday. We had a 12pm reservation. We were seated at 12:20pm. Ordered our food at 12:30 and we did not get our food until 1:50pm. Our waiter was great but just kept apologizing for our wait. We did the birthday special but had wait another 45 minutes for that to happen. We spent $135 for 4 people on sub par food. We never saw a manager and it seemed like the wait staff were the only ones doing everything. Only one bathroom was working at the time and there was a long line for that. We would not recommend going unless you have a lot of time and money.
Very slow service. Do not bring your children here lot of music not suitable for them playing.
The food and atmosphere was amazing but the service was not. We waited a long time for our server
Fun place to be for a short time. Very loud. Quite expensive and the food is mediocre. Service was great and most the staff was friendly. Glad to say we went but won’t be back.
Loved everything, Erika was very informative about the menu. Food was amazing energy was on 💯!
First while waiting we seen a host put his hand in someone’s glass of ice for the drink and than rubbed his face to cool off after we asked were the serving that to a customer the did. Second my wait was long after having reservations at 5:30 our table was broke we asked could we get another table that didn’t rock instead they put cord board under the leg of the table. Next my green beans nasty and cold along with the steak. It wasn’t not good at all.
Tonight service wasn’t the same from the past. They were fully booked every table occupied and service was extremely slow, not much attention on drink refills or removing used plates from appetizers. Suck that the radio wasn’t working half the time and it was complete silence while eating. The women’s restroom was closed and had a person sitting back there directing and checking the men’s restroom after each person…such a BIG inconvenience…don’t need a babysitter to go into a bathroom, but hey job security I guess.
Not sure if Saturday night was busy, but it was really disorganized and dirty today which is a Sunday afternoon. . We have been to other Sugar factories in Miami and NYC. This location was disappointing.
3 hours total meal time. Not all food and drinks came at the same time. Had to ask for everything. Silverware. Water. The fancy drinks are just sugar water and too expensive.
Ok the restaurant "ran out of" butter, rainbow pancakes, and a long list of other items. I was informed of all items except for their lack of butter and that wasn't until after the pancakes arrived to our table. I tried to suck up and eat them but they were extremely dry without the butter! I then asked the waiter to allow me to exchange the pancakes for something else and the salad I ordered to replace the pancakes took literally 45 minutes to arrive!!! I was so upset as this was our first time going to the sugar factory and our experience was very dissappointing!
My family and I had a great time. The service was great and so was the food and drinks. It was a very fun highly energetic atmosphere
Great food and quality ingredients. Best shakes ever. Vegan burger is a true vegetarian burger not imitation meat patty.
Have been in the past and had a great time. Loud music and celebration atmosphere. However this visit was not as expected
The waitress said it was do to remodeling which I wish I would have known because I may have chosen a different place for my nieces 30 bday celebration. The prices weren’t less even though the service and atmosphere was less
for the publicity that they give the service was terrible and the drinks were bad
My son birthday and it was amazing
While I do enjoy The Sugar Factory, this experience was somewhat different from the rest. It was not as enjoyable…our waiter was not as attentive, one of my friends didn’t get her milkshake and it was her first time visiting there, only one bathroom was working, and the restaurant is wasn’t very clean.
The service was bad, no silverware and one working bathroom for everyone to share. Literally the only good thing was the picture I got holding my $40 drink.
Slow service. Bathroom didn’t work. AC wasn’t cold. Milkshakes were great. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and totally nothing that was her fault.
The food was amazing but management might need to give the staff some help. Julio was an awesome server.
This was my 2nd time going to the Sugar Factory and I will not be back. This was a waste of $400.00. The bathroom was a mess and smelled like an outhouse. There was trash all over the bathroom floor. Had to still wait with a reservation. There were so many flies on flew into my daughter's milkshake. No lids for the drinks. I got the filet, the meat was tough and I swear it was not a filet. The sides tasted like a microwave dinner. We also ordered the surf and Turf. The meat was good again the sides not so much. Last time my great beans had Almonds, this time it did not. My daughter ordered chicken and Waffles. Last time she had whole pieces of chicken this time she received a Waffles with wing dings on top. The chicken was not even seasoned. The popcorn shrimp, onion rings and chicken was decent. It was my birthday do I ordered dessert. I could not believe that they charge $5.00 for the sparkler. The waitress was nice. My 1st experience I would have recommended. After this one I would not recommend. The food cost to much to taste like a TV dinner and to have a disgusting bathroom. All the food that cost the most was not worth the cost.
Yoqub made our first experience amazing. Great drinks and food. Outstanding service
They were out of several menu items when I went. They also ran out of to go containers, our food had to wrapped in foil. Overall pretty good.
The experience was ok. Had horrible waiter service. Food was great
It was our 1st time there and we were celebrating my daughter's 13 birthday. 1st impression was not what I expected, just plain nothing exciting. Our waiter was okay, we had to wait a while for certain things but overall he was very pleasant. The food was great EXCEPT the birthday cheesecake my daughter requested and the song. We couldn't hear the song at all and she got a slice that looked as if it was purchased from your local bakery with pieces of strawberry cut for a 3 year old to eat and I paid $12 plus $5 for the candle...we won't do that again but we may give it another visit
My wife enjoyed her experience. Make sure you have a reservation, it's impossible to get in without one.
Sugar Factory is a fun and energetic place. The food is just okay- the sliders were dry and the blue cheese burgers were dry. Our server was very attentive and fun! Desserts are incredible! If we go again, it’d be for desserts and drinks only.
We had a reservation yet we had to wait another 20 minutes to be seated. Hostess area was unorganized and poorly identified. As customers walk up outside there is also a stand outside that no employee was at. Several customers stood there for a while before going around to enter indoor to find the main hostess stand. Sound system was not working. We found the restaurant to be grimy and dirty even though it was just past breakfast. Our server was so nice and apologized for the sound system not working as well as menu items that were not available. Kitchen was very busy, but the food came out slow. We waiting about 20 minutes for our milkshakes and 30 minutes for the food. My son's chicken and waffles was ok. The chicken was very tasty, the waffles were cold. My daughter enjoyed her sliders and loved the presentation. I had the sesame chicken salad. I found it to be pretty sweet and ok. Overall we would not go back. It was too expensive and I could not bring myself to spend 40.00 on a cocktail that did not include a take home glass. Far too expensive. We should have gone to Cheesecake Factory for chain restaurant food.
I’ve been there before but the rest of my party has never been and everyone had a great time honestly and I never had a bad time there and definitely would keep going.
Birthday experience was great! Loved the interaction with the staff dancing!!
It was my birthday and our waiter forgot to put the sparkler on our dessert so we had to pay for another bowl of ice cream that we didn’t even eat. We went just for drinks and desserts and it took way to long for our server to take our order and most of the drinks they didn’t have. Not sure if we will be back.
Kids summer party
It took an hour for us to get our food. The power went out twice. It was so loud I couldn't even hear the person next to me. Overall it wasn't a great experience, and definitely not worth the money that was spent.
Unfortunately the location is going through some remodeling and we didn’t have the best experience. The music wasn’t playing for most of the time we were there, they didn’t have some of the items on the menu and it just didn’t have the fun feel we were looking forward to!
The food was terrible, there was hair in my daughter's 20 dollar milkshake. They didn't even offer to make her a new one. The restaurant was dirty and the bathroom was disgusting. We will never be back
