Food was good/ service was excellent!
Service was poor, food was expensive and bad. It is one thing to be expensive and good but this food was just bad and cold. We ordered french fries and then had to wait almost 20 minutes for ketchup.
This was the perfect place to have my birthday dinner! We were late for our reservation but the hostess was very accommodating -- even though she didn't have to be. Our server, Amber, was attentive, informative, and overall a very pleasant person. The food was great, the drinks were amazing (a bit pricey, but Instagram worthy and delicious!) and I would highly recommend the Sugar Factory for a fun night out. Be sure to make a reservation in advance..otherwise you'll be waiting in line to be seated and on a Saturday night you could be waiting for a while.
The whole vibe and energy is like nothing like I've ever experienced before it was awesome!
Celebrated 21st birthday here. It was fun, friendly, happy. Loved the drinks and food. Definitely need the check book but well worth it for this special occasion.
The food was delicious! My husband and I took our son and his friend to a comedy show and after went to the Sugar Factory. The staff was nice even when we came earlier than our reservation time they took us in (reservations highly recommended as there was a line of people waiting to get in). When we ordered 2 beverages we didn’t anticipate it being LARGE (yummy but a lot of alcohol for one person) the waitress was kind enough to discount one beverage (my beverage with me even asking) because I took less than 5 sips of it. The kids enjoyed their food and the noise level was moderate but only when they were singing happy birthday. Would definitely go to another Sugar Factory again, it was everything I expected it to be. Great customer service, great food and ambiance.
Xoxo Meyling Nuñez & family
Over priced nothing special food.. drink are fun to see but way too sweet
Brought my toddler out for a fun lunch with my mother and sister. Front desk / hostess staff were great. Our waitress was friendly but scattered and the restaurant was not overly crowded. Our rainbow mini burgers did not come with the rubber ducky and our wish milkshake had no candle! (The milkshake was ordered at the end of pur lunch to go, but she did not mention the candle for my excited three year old would be omitted). We did not realize these oversights until we had left as the ambiance and excitement of Sugar is so busy and fun in itself that we were distracted from this. Overall it is fun but very pricy and I would hope for a more enthusiastic and organized wait staff if we do return.
I had a nice time because I was with family and friends and it was a festive atmosphere. The drinks and the snacks offered were fun, but way over priced. The service was horrible. The waitress never came to see if we needed anything. She probably knew the 20 percent was already included in the bill and didn't care about her service. She certainly did not deserve the tip we were forced to leave. I have no tolerance for poor service so I have no plans on returning.
Very overpriced - did not have a nutrition guide. The $25 non-alcoholic blue fishbowl drink tasted like soda water. My $16 Lemonhead martini did not taste like a lemon head. Very disappointed in food and drinks.
Our family went for my daughter's 12th birthday. With her friend there was 5 of us total. The goblets and shakes were fun and the kids LOVED them ! The food however is very sub par. I was actually quite surprised at this as I was expecting it to be outstanding (considering the price) The service was just OK. I called to say we were running late because of an accident on the highway and she told me the policy was they only hold the table for 15 minutes. Understandable. (and we did make it with plenty of time) However, the person who answered the phone was so rushed and busy they didn't even say good bye and just hung up on me. Same with the server. Too rushed to go the extra mile. The kids did love it and we most likely go back for my son's birthday although maybe for lunch or just drinks and desert.
First time here and it was so busy, that the experience was less fun than I had hoped. The waiter did not engage at all, very serious and no fun, especially with two kids .
Food was mediocre and very expensive.
My milkshake was good and if I return I will avoid a meal, and just have dessert.
The food was terrible the drinks were terrible and way over priced for quality and quantity. Was told my salmon could not be rare because of the grade of salmon pretty scary! But still charged grade A prices
Wasn’t happy waited to be seated food wasn’t good an waiter was very slow it was lots of time passed before he checked on us at the table
Sugar is a very busy place. Waitress not very good. Food was nothing to talk about . My son ordered the mini sliders (24$) very stale rolls and frys soggy and not hot. This place is the kind of place you go to once to say you have been. Would never go back. Not worth the money .
This is a fun restaurant with many cool novelty menu items. I’d say their drinks are the biggest draw. Food was only okay though- nothing amazing. Our banana foster cookie sandwich dessert had cookies that were so hard we had to chop into them for bites. There wasn’t a trace of bananas anywhere on the plate either. Overall an underwhelming experience.
It was ok. Very overpriced for nothing extraordinary. Maybe go for dessert. But thats about it.
I recently brought my daughter and her two friends here for dinner to celebrate her birthday. The table was small for four people. There was no way to dry your hands in the bathroom. The service was quick, but we only saw the waitress twice: to place our order, and bring our check. It is VERY expensive. The food was mediocre at best. Not worth the price at all.
No kids menu. Food was not spectacular, for the prize I would have though there would be fireworks shooting out of the food. $11.00 for four chicken fingers, $17 for a turkey club. Not worth it AT ALL.
I wasnt impressed. I was very hopeful but I didnt like there was no childrens menu. I also didnt think the food was worth the prices. We took dessert home and it waant very good it tasted stale. I probably wont go back again .
Very over priced. Midiocore food. $25 for a goblet with no liquor is ridiculous. Mac and cheese balls were awful. Alfredo pasta was bland. Veggie burger was good. Chicken was good waffles over cooked. Milk shakes were delicious. First time there. Might go back for milkshakes but only milkshakes.
Nothing special regarding the food. This place is known for their unique drinks and desserts. Extremely loud atmosphere. Glad we went to see what it was about however we will not be returning.
Drinks were delish, food was ok burger sliders were over cooked and buns were crumbling but the atmosphere was fun.
Actuall food wasn't anything to boast about, the drinks were fantastic and service was good.
The lodge candy drinks are $25 and $36 if you include alcohol. It's nice to take the kids but there were seven of us so we were in a certain area with the music was extremely too loud. We had them turn the music down and a good thing we did because they were not playing the Walmart versions of the song they were playing the explicit version of song. I found the shocking because it's supposed to be a place for kids but I did not call them out on it because the kids were not paying attention. They were to busy looking at the drinks.
Myself and the kids enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Food was a little on the pricey end but worth it. I did get a martini that was a little on the strong side which took away the flavor of the drink itself. Kids loved the drink bowls to share. Was good for our first experience there.
Such a fun place ! We stopped by after taking my son and his friend to Naskart ! Making a reservation made it super easy as there was a line waiting to get in ! A bit pricy for the drinks but so worth it as a special experience! Can’t wait to go back !!
Definitely fun time, kids had a blast loved the drinks!! Food was good, desserts yummy!!
My experience here was good, could have been better. The drink my boyfriend and I ordered was good, just the right amount of alcohol. I think it was worth the $36 because its a really big drink. My boyfriend enjoyed the salmon however, I asked for my burger well done and it was more burned than well done. The waitress took the burger back and had it remade but the second burger was still kind of burnt. If it wasn't burnt it definitely would have been amazing. But the waitress took 50% off of the burger so it was only $7.50. Overall good experience. A little on the pricey side but it's a themed restaurant so that is expected.
Fun!!! Lots of options and good for all family members.
Very nice restaurant.
Service was great! Drinks are pricey but the goblets are worth it to try it once, the dry ice makes a super cool effect (take a video!). We only got one of the sweet pizzas for food— the brownie chunks on it were really good, but the dough was just kinda tough & didn’t have much flavor.
It’s loud in there (as is my experience with city restaurants & popular restaurants anyways), a bit quieter I think in the back corner where we were.
Service was just really slow around 9/10pm
Our waitress was Shauna and she was awesome, very nice and helpful, there when we needed something. Food was great! Had a great time!
Birthday for a little girl
We went for my daughters 21 birthday! Great food, drinks, and atmosphere! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who's going to Foxwoods!
They seated me in a corner It’s to dark , I forgot my glasses I couldn’t see the small letters on the menu, Thankful for pictures ...Chairs are to low I couldn’t reach my drink and I had 6 inch heels on! It was full of birthday parties, nice but I think they can do without the staff singing it every 5 to 10 minutes. That was so annoying on top of it being so loud in there . It’s differently over priced, I felt like it should’ve had kid prices seeing that I felt like I was at a circus...
It's a really cool and innovative restaurant. It had great selection for fun and different cocktails but they come at a big price. For the price the food was not exceptional and not worth the price. The food was acceptable and even though it isn't a great value for the price its a "must see" kind of restaurant. Would go back for a cocktail or dessert.
We took our daughter and a couple of her friends for a 15th b-day meal. This restaurant is about the WOW factor which was barely ok in my opinion. It could have been great but there were a lot of misses. SERVICE: Server took our order and food/drinks were brought to us but our waters were never refilled, soda never refilled, stacked dirty dishes left on the table when other items were brought. Our server was reasonably friendly but everyone else seemed miserable, this should be a fun & happy place, it clearly is not. Overall very inattentive and sloppy. DRINKS: Be aware the 64oz non-alcoholic goblets are really about 16oz of drink and the rest is dry ice, cost $25. The non-alcoholic chocolate martini was basically 6oz of watery yoohoo, cost $14. FOOD: Portions are plentiful. Burgers were decent, appetizer sampler was barely ok, fried mac & cheese was not good at all. French fries were best part of meal. MILKSHAKES: All the kids got the jazzed up milkshakes $18 each. These were really just normal vanilla milkshakes with a chocolate stripe on the outside of the glass and a piece of candy. None of them looked nearly as good as the menu pictures. While our daughter was happy with her experience I will likely not visit again and in hindsight would have chosen another way to spend $260 on burgers and milkshakes for 6 people. If all employee attitudes were upbeat and attentive it would go a long way toward making guest experience exceptional and not leave me feeling simply overpriced.
Took the kids for a treat over spring break. The service was weak at best. The hostess had a major chip on her shoulder from the moment we walked in the door. She had a “could not be bothered” attitude. I felt like we were imposing on her. Our server, while very pleasant, was non existent. We had to ask for plates, silverware and she kept disappearing. We waited over 25 mins for the check. They are doing construction across the way and the noise level was at a 10+! We couldn’t hear each other talk. Now onto the prices. Ridiculous!!! My son ordered a blue tropic (non alcoholic) drink. While I expected it to be pricey, maybe $15-$17, the price was insane!!! $25 for a goblet of sprite and Gatorade?! Are you kidding me???? That is disgusting! That drink was more than my meal!! Maybe if there was alcohol in it, or you got to keep the glass, I could possibly justify that. But $25 for a soda?? Never again! My burger was delicious and cost $13. Well worth it. My son however got the rainbow sliders. They were dry, over cooked and cost $25! For some rainbow colored bread?! They sell rainbow bread at Stew Leonard’s for $4! Give me a break sugar factory. This isn’t Hollywood or Dubai. The restaurant was completely empty when we went and I can see why. People go once, see the prices and never return. After paying $25 for a soda, I can assure you we will NEVER be back.
