Sugar Factory Bravern (Bellevue)
It’s worth every penny! I had my birthday dinner here.
The food was average and WAY overpriced. The service was below expectations, they were out of several things we wanted. My son ordered a non-alcoholic speciality drink and it was $34... This was his 15th birthday dinner and overall was disappointing.
Visited this location for my wife’s birthday. Once food and drinks were served we never received any refills after that. Not the service I was expecting from a pricier restaurant.
The food was horrible this time! Usually it’s pretty good but this time it wasn’t. Rehire the old chef!!!
Everything was great but a lot of bugs were flying around which was annoying so we had to keep knocking em away as we ate
Our plates were dirty from the last dish. My drink had a lipstick stain on the side of the cup! The food was average and definitely not worth the price. However, the lady who we believe was the manager was nice and gave us extra fries for the inconvenience.
Over priced and over rated. Food was dry and milkshake was runny.... never again.
The desert is great, the food is mediocre at best for $20 cheese burgers. Not impressed with the food at all
Drinks were amazing, food was mediocre and the service was horrible. I dont know if it was because it seemed busy or because that's their average service, but I wasn't impressed. Sad part was that I was excited to go. We waited 30 mins for someone to come ask us if we were ready to order drinks. Then another 20 to receive our drinks. Nobody asked if we liked any of it or if it tasted good. Love the drinks but most likely wont go back again.
Food was nothing more than re-heated Stouffer's macaroni and cheese and putting it on a over cooked hamburger. French fries same string french fries you can buy at QFC in the frozen section.
Water and the club sandwich was the best items served at the table.
Service was fair. For the price and location I expected far better than what was delivered. I've never walked into a restaurant at 630 on Wednesday night and seen a place with as few customers as I saw last night.
I recommend having dinner elsewhere, dessert was delicious probably why it’s called sugar factory. Hostesses were not friendly, server was nice but she had too many tables. Waited quite a while for a table even though we had reservations. Pretty disappointed considering all the hype
We were so disappointed with the food, when I sent back my fish and got a salad instead I thought I would be safe. However, the chicken was so dry, I couldnt even chew it. No one else thought their food was great by any means either. We were a party of 6. The large milk shakes looked cool, but was made from bad quality plain vanilla. The customer service was super poor. It was like maybe they all got out of a really bad meeting and everyone was yelled at. They were all grumpy.
It was so loud that we couldn't carry a conversation.
We will not be going back. And we will advising everyone else to do the same.
Only for the novelty aspect...the food was ick, and way over priced
The idea of this place was really cool, but the staff really ruined it for us. We waited for over 10 minutes in the retail area up front to purchase some items.... there was a line of 6 people standing alone in the area. I am surprised people don't just walk out with their items unpaid. The guy behind me was about to. We had to go into the restaurant and literally wave somebody down (they were not busy) to help us.
We were seated and waited almost 15 minutes before being greeted. He almost left us to "get water" and we stopped him to order drinks and apps. We were clearly ready for our complete order after sitting there so long. Our apps came before he came back and still didn't have water. Water took another 5-7 minutes.
Drinks for 5 people took over 30 minutes
This wait time wouldn't be so bad if the place was busy. There were only about 10 tables and i counted at least 4 servers plus a manager, bartender, and hostess.
Our ranch never came that we ordered twice.. once from the guy dropping food and one from the server.
Boxes and bills took over 20 minutes after we requested them. He kept walking by and not making eye contact and then would realize we were still there and apologize over and over for delays.
I loved the cocktails, menu, and the whole idea of the place.. the staff just did not execute. Pricing is very high for the quality of food, but expected for this location and the atmosphere. I ended up being very disappointed in the amount of money we paid to be ignored.
The food was overpriced and simply terrible. The desserts are the only good thing they have going for them. Waitress forgot our $40 drink and the place was empty. Thankfully she forgot it because I’m sure it wasn’t worth it either.
Grilled cheese sandwich dry bread with cold kraft singles (not joking)
Service was good! Our waitress was super nice. Food was slow to come out but they did give us appetizers without asking to make up for it. The food was terrible. In particular the $14 grilled cheese that was burnt on one side when they finally brought it about 10 minutes after the rest of the meal. It looked worse than something a 2 year old would make. Not worth the money for the food!!! I would go back for drinks though! Super fun drinks. Eat at your own risk!
To Start off the food was overpriced but We knew that going in. We spent almost $400 for 7 people so I was expecting superb service but no the waiter was slow and never re filled our water The shakes and drinks are so sweet, so we needed something to wash them down. We finally stopped some one that was washing tables down and she offered to fill our glasses with her dirty water from her wash bucket jokingly. The place didn't seem to be as busy for him to take so long with things. We had finished our food and waited almost 15 min before he reappeared and we had to ask for our ticket and then waited for him to get payment and return. They did sing my daughter Happy Birthday that was nice and the food was good.
I ordered an appetizer sampler and my chicken strips and buffalo wings was burnt. Food wasn’t good. Not a place I’ll go again.
I had a good experience except we had arrived at about 445 and I ask for a dirty grey goose martini and was told no martinis due to the bartender not being there. I could order a vodka soda which came in a tiny glass and didn’t even taste like a shot for $15 which should of been the price of my martini. And if they could make a vodka soda why not a dirty martini which is a very simple drink. I was disappointed seeing how I am on a strict diet and limited to only a few drinks.
Our waitress was very kind, Our desert was great, but the food wasn't that great.
What a waste of money! Service was terrible, food was tasteless and they were totally understaffed. I had to get up twice and go to the bussing station to get napkins and ask for utensils. NOT OKAY!
The other workers were pushing around a bussing basket type thing making TONS of extra noise. WILL NEVER GO BACK!
So we arrive about 45 min early the person at the counter yells there is no way to get you in earlier... so we were directed to the bar only about 10 min later they call my name. This was odd because I wonder what would have happened had we left for a while until our reservation time.
Either way we were sat
About 30 min pass and we are enjoying the atmosphere and giant drinks.... we finally get to put in a drink order and then everything goes to hell.
No drinks except they brought one that em was simple but we waited about 45 min to a hour and mind you we had already been waiting for 30 min prior.
My party was displeased as we recognize one man food runner that had no idea where eat food item he is bringing out goes... he goes up to each table and ask .”rainbow sliders?” And then when they say no they go on to the next table and ask the same... what the hell!
Dinner at this point had been ruined as they delivered one of the four dinners about 30 min before the others... did speak with the manager and said that this was ridiculous...
She comped is some ice cream nice gesture but we won’t be back.
This was such a weird experience. The place definitely seemed understaffed, and overall had a strange, confusing vibe. The hostess was also the manager, and despite this she was also serving and bussing tables. Not sure if they had a lot of call-outs that night or if they just didn't have enough staff in general. The music was blaring the whole time to the point where we couldn't hear each other talking. Our waters weren't being refilled and we weren't asked how we wanted our burgers done. I want to make clear I do NOT blame the waitress or manager for this, as they were working very hard to try and keep everyone happy. It was just a very strange experience for what we thought was an upscale restaurant. The only thing I can imagine is that owners are cutting costs in places they should not be cut. Your staff is working very hard and deserves better-- Our waitress got 20% and we tossed the manager an extra ten dollars for all of her hard work as well. Please ensure your restaurants are properly staffed.
Make a better decision than I did! Choose something else! They are scammers!
Waitress was very patient with us not knowing exactly what we wanted to get initially. Our table was reserved like scheduled. And I enjoy the happy birthday at the end of dinner. Thanks!! (:
Server was a bit forgetful/overwhelmed, had to ask for things multiple times but she was nice. Overall we didn’t have to wait for service or any outrageous amount of time. I had the breakfast burger which was pretty bland, it was supposed to come with maple syrup but I never got that. My partner’s donut burger was much tastier. Goblet was fun and surprisingly strong! Ice cream wasn’t great, seemed store bought which is disappointing for a dessert restaurant. Overall it was a worthwhile experience but a bit overpriced. Enjoyed watching the kids at other tables who all seemed to be having a great time!
Way over priced! NO KID MENUs you literally are paying 30 dollars for a plate of food for kids that won’t eat it all on top of if the kid wants a big glass of juice with dried ice it’s 34 dollars LIKE WTH! I think if this is supposed to be appealing to young kids because it is the SUGAR factory then why would they not have KID MENUs!!!??? It’s so weird to me! On top of that we made a reservation for 20 we were NEVER asked if we wanted refills or any sauces like ketchup or hot sauce! When we went to go sit down there was food in one of the chairs still!! It was just a weird experience over all I felt like we were at a Red Robin’s (which would have been wayyy better hahaha) and paying for food as if we were in the space needle lol it was just over all a crappy place!
The hostess was wearing workout pants and ignored us for 10 minutes and turned her back on us to take a call. The restaurant was empty yet we had to wait 30 minutes for them to find a table. Our server said there was only Chardonnay for wine and only checked in on us once. It took 45 minutes to get 2 milkshakes that were $20 each.
Absolute rip off and terrible service.
Loved it! Service was great the food was high quality and amazing, would definitely recommend and come again!
Food was great, service was slow. Tables are too close together, felt like I was on a double date. Otherwise food and drinks were very tasty.
Not a good 2020 Valentine’s Day experience!
I love this place... but Valentine’s Day dinner experience was not good at all!
If I knew that the advertise Menu on sugar factory website is not available, I would have reserve somewhere else!
Dinner experience today was horrid!
This is the first time I had bad experience, definitely will never forget that specially on Valentines Day!
Our family of 4 went to Sugar Factory for Valentine’s Day. We did not have high expectations for the food based on online reviews but the food was barely above cafeteria level. Based on taste and quality, the food is about 3-4x over priced. We did however, thought it would set the bar in the dessert category but unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. The desserts LOOK amazing but the taste is weak, store bought ice cream even beats the taste. The upsides were the attentive service and ambience is nice. Overall we will not be going back and will warn family and friends thinking of going.
Food was amazing steak was cooked perfectly drinks were awesome. Celebrated my son’s 19th birthday everything came out great. Service was slow didn’t even have silverware for our desserts had to wait had a look for our server as well. For these prices you expect premium service. Great for kids though
Fun for my kids and the server was very patient when we were waiting on our friends who were an hour late.
What a beautiful, fun, color atmosphere for a Birthday celebration. This was our first experience and there are a few things that I was definitely disappointed in:
1. The colorful sliders were so incredibly dry....wayyyyy overcooked. That was our birthday girls choice, but she was too polite to say anything. We brought most of them home and had to toss them. Very very expensive to not be good.
2. Knowing it was a birthday celebration, I was surprised they didn't offer a little birthday treat.
3. When we asked the hostess to take our photo, she rolled her eyes...seemed a bit put out. I apologized because we looked for our server, but couldn't find her and didn't want to continue to take up space at the photo area, lingering.
4. Ordered a non alcohol caramel truffle martini...it was a watered down chocolate milk for a couple dollars less than the $17 they charge.
If people asked if I recommended it....I would say maybe for a treat, but not a full meal.
Our server was very nice, attentive.
We have been to this place several times!
Valentines Day was the worst time on this restaurant!
Worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a very long time. We were there for my 50th birthday and it was awful. Service was slow. Service was poor. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Food was super salty, couldn’t even eat it. Service was terrible. Really bad quality overall for the price they charge. Very disappointed.
I have been there several times before with my kids, always raving on how great a place it is to go. My husband went with us this time and sadly the experience was not the same. The food was as if we had gone to Denny’s, but paying Sugar Factory prices for it. They didn’t have coffee because they were out and no one wanted to go make a coffee run so their one page on the menu dedicated to coffee drinks were obsolete. They brought the food and didn’t bring butter for the waffles, or syrup and didn’t come with the chocolate chips my son had seen it came with. When we saw the server again it was 10 minutes later and too late to ask for it. The salad my husband ordered was not even close to the picture, as in missing several ingredients. We Mentioned it was my son’s birthday to the server and when we asked if they did anything special for birthdays, the server responded as to discouraging it. But while we were there they celebrated 4 other birthdays. Just overall not the nice experience we had received before. My husband will definitely not be returning specially after the hefty bill that was not worth the food or experience.
Our group had a fun time, and service did a great job.
