Food was horrible, service was awful, bathrooms were dirty, the lobby looked like they were closing. Not a lot of people yet service is awful.
We have been in the past and had a good experience but this last one was mediocre at best. They are renovating so the lobby looks trashed, and it is unclear where to even enter. The "chicken strip" looked and tasted awful, and they were understaffed. The giant dessert was a fun experience and the highlight.
Very unorganized wait staff. We waited over a hour and a half for drinks. We got our appetizers after we where done eating. They were taken to another table my mistake.
had outstanding customer service and our waiter was absolutely amazing The food was a 10/10 enjoyed our night very much!
The hostess crew were the rudest and most disrespectful team I’ve ever come across. They lied to us about availability, refused to sit us. Stephanie Spoke negatively about us to other co workers. And had the other conworkers looking at us is a negative way. We asked to be seated per our reservations and they told us they didn’t have seating to accommodate us that we would have to sit outside. When asked if they had outside heaters, one responded with an attitude “this heater is only for us” and rolled her eyes. We asked for the manager in which she stated “i am the manager”. Ultimately when went inside to ask for the real manager in which we were seated right away. I’ve never been treated so blatantly disrespectful in a dinning experience. I will never go back there again.
Food was good
I dine here when in San Diego when we arrived I asked the servers if there were tables available for a party at 7 she informed me that the only seating they had available would be outside. Inside was reservation only! I then asked if I were to be seated outside would there be any available heat lamps she said no they were only for her with a attitude. From the moment I arrived with my party there was hostility and nasty attitudes. The three young women were very unprofessional and rude. I then made a reservation for my party with two separate reservation one for party of 4 and another for party of 3 both at 5:30 . When I came back and let these women know I had a reservation there was instant attitudes and refusal to seat us finding every excuse to not seat my party. I’ve never experienced such poor service I had to escalate things up to the store manager just to be seated. I also watched the hostess sit another party right before me with reservations but I assume my reservations weren’t good enough. I felt racially discriminated. After 30 minutes of going back and forth we were seated by the manager but I will never eat here again if this is the type of service this company provides horrible! Once we were seated service was great but your hostess are unprofessional, nasty and rude!
My son Kaleel and I had a great experience! We will definitely try the movie theatre next!
Went there to have a great bday dinner for my daughter but with the noise level/too dark at the table we were seated at and almost every 5 min the loud music with the cake entry seemed a bit redundant. We also felt pressured to do a big entry too for our daughter when we initially just wanted to do a smaller acknowledgment had no idea how big the ice cream comes out .. charge is crazy for that too . Overall a crazy experience
The restaurant looks cheesy. A cross between the circus and Chuck E. Cheese. A wanna-be Farrell's for adults. Scrappy, filthy bathrooms, with broken fixtures and plumbing. The smell of popcorn was overpowering, and affected our culinary experience. Service was very friendly . . . but very slow. The burgers tasted great . . . but were ice cold. We had four burgers among the ten people in our party; all four were ice cold. My wife's chinese chicken salad was about one-third the size of the one pictured on the menu. The alcoholic beverages (five mixed drinks) were all very weak. The only thing that lived up to the billing was the desserts. And, of course, because this is the "place to be, and to be seen," the prices were ridiculous. The food and experience wasn't worth half of what we paid.
The sliders were burned, fries were cold and milkshake mostly whipped cream. If we’re going to spend that much money we expect a LOT better food quality. Service was great but ambiance and “wow factor” of Sugar Factory was totally missing!
My girlfriend and I came for her 30th birthday. I can't say enough nice things about our server Jeremiah. He went out of his way again and again to make our experience the best it could be. We got the 24K meal which was served with a song and a show. I mean, it was way out there. Totally fun and absolutely delicious. The manager on, Facilius (my girlfriend recalled his name a week later off the top of her head) goes above and beyond to do the real work on the floor. We have managed a restaurant together and we called him over to let him know he's killing it. He checked in on us a few times to make sure we were enjoying our birthday dinner. He also gave us a gift I won't mention so people don't go in there demanding the same but hey, be good guests and maybe you will see! 10/10, will go again.
Was located in a terrible area no parking street was closed off after feeling afraid from seeing arguing almost violent transients in same area we left to look elsewhere
My daughter loved the insane milkshakes, the food seemed overpriced for what we got. The portion size was good. It’s more about the atmosphere and exciting drinks or shakes. If I go back, it will only be for desert.
Even the food was tasty with a friendly service, the restaurant looks neglected, the booths and tables where dirty like if they don’t clean them frequently.
The server was great! The food was delish! It was pricey for 2 but it was worth it. It was definitely a great experience.
Anniversary dinner attempt. We waited 45 minutes just for our drinks; while watching tables that were sat after us receive their orders. Another few more minutes the appetizer finally made it. At the hour and a half mark our waitress tried to deliver our dessert to us. When we asked where our DINNERS were she came back to tell us they didn't have our dinners and the kitchen lost the order! Asked for our check and left. Nothing was comped. Wasted money and we still had to go somewhere else to eat. We do not recommend this venue.
It was my sons birthday!! Great atmosphere!
We had a reservation at 7:00 pm and we had checked in and the hostess told us it’ll be a couple minutes to set our table up, 15 minutes go by and we go to the hostess to check status of our table and they said it still wasn’t ready and we made sure they had the correct phone number from us that way we don’t miss our text for when our table was ready and they did have the correct number. We continue to wait and 30 minutes have passed by and they still haven’t notified us and we had to go up to the hostess again letting them know that we also had a movie at 8:30 pm and hostess was just like,” you can always eat in the theater we have the same menu and you can order food in there” we just said alright. We didn’t get the experience of dinning in the eating area that I would have wanted and that was a bummer. Hopefully next time we can get that experience.
Went before a Broadway show and had reservation for 6:00 pm and table not ready till 6:45 pm
Never going to that restaurant again
I had fettuccine Alfredo and the noodles gummy so they didn’t fully cook them for me and my daughter it was for her 11 th birthday! The drink was $40 could at least had keep sake glass
Service was bad and our waiter took so long to give us our drinks. We were done eating and he was still making them so we cancelled them. After we asked for our check he took even longer to give it to us. When he finally did he gave a couple of us our wrong receipts and at the end he gave two people wrong change. Worst service ever!
It was amazing awesome and the waiter that we had was so nice and had so much energy. Kenny is the best.
This is a cool place, feels franchised. I brought my mom and daughter somewhere I thought it would be special and it was. $160, we had cold friend not Luke warm called and a fly that wouldn’t stay off our food.
Way overpriced for what you get. Music was to loud to be able to talk, the food was mediocre, the drink ordered didn't come until after we were all done eating, and the atmosphere is geared for a thirteen year old girl.
Worst experience ever! The food was very bland and overpriced. The alcoholic drinks are very sugary, very little alcohol and very overpriced. The service was horrendous. We barely saw our waitress and she could care less about being there. Service was extremely slow and it was sooooo noisy. This was definitely a one and done deal for us. If i could give this a negative star i would! Avoid this restaurant at all costs!
They gave me such a hard time when I tried to reserve for my party due to availability, I called 4 days before the requested day. After securing a resevarion at 9 pm, we get there at 9 pm only to have to wait 20 min. After 25 min, I asked how much longer we had and come to find out that the hostess didn't write our name down!! They wrote my information down and said it would only be a few moments. Waited a whole 15 minutes later when I decided to ask for a manager. After I spoke to what seemed to be the lead hostess, she seated us right away. She mentioned she would have a complimentary sundae given to my son for his birthday. A complimentary sundae is typically given at restaurants for birthdays. Food was mediocre this go around, no seasoning on the Sliders. Beverages were good. After all, we noticed that they actually charged us for the sundae! Smh! Needless to say, we won't be going back and will make sure our friends and family don't give their business as well!!
Music was WAY TOO LOUD!!! This place is not a nightclub but a place to eat. I enjoy loud music as much as the next person but I had to practically be shouting to my seat mate just to have a conversation, ordering of food also required me to shout. Not a very pleasant way to eat. However on another note, all those that are celebrating their birthday is given a great experience since all the attention is given to them by all staff along with their choice of music while staff serenade them. Food was great! I had the Cajun chicken pasta and loved it. I don’t drink so don’t have a review for that but I saw our neighboring patrons drinks and they all looked over the top 👍🏼
Awesome experience, great servers and DJ! The food is fun bar food which was good but way over priced. You pay for the experience more than the food. Recommend for celebrations.
It was our daughter birthday and we had a great time
I would definitely go back I drove way from la and I’ll do it again
Loud and the waiters were constantly bringing us the wrong food.
I was so excited to try this place out for my birthday, and was disappointed. I was able to make a reservation for 9pm but we still had to wait nearly 25 minutes for my party of 5 to be seated. Once we were seated the music was so loud my party had to yell very loudly to hear each other. The service was unsatisfactory, our beverages sat empty multiple times for far too long. When our overpriced food came out the order was incorrect, and when we ate it was garlicky alfredo pasta and dry rainbow sliders. We were so excited to try the exciting desserts, however our waitress came out and told us that the dessert guy had left 20 minutes ago. We were very disappointed and upset she hadn’t told us earlier. The waitress did bring out a complimentary desert with a fun sparkler candle, however the vanilla ice cream was old and had ice crystals and the topping was cool whip. Overall, our experience was disappointing, there was potential for a good experience but ultimately fell short.
I was excited to go for the drinks but honestly but the whole place was a let down. The restaurant was WAY too loud. I could barely hear my friend that was sitting right next to me. The food was mediocre. The drinks were WAY too sweet even though we got alcohol in it which they initially forgot to put in it. The fact that I had a reservation and still had to wait was annoying. It’s way to expensive for the overall experience.
Let me first start by saying they need to hire more staff and qualified. This restaurant has went downhill in quality, service, and food big time. They removed their candy portion-most likely due to Covid. I made reservations for me and my daughters and stood around for 15 mins while staff passed us up left and right. I finally had to request to be serviced. Even with reservations we waited an additional 20 mins then we were seated. We ordered. My daughters meals arrived within 15 mins. The waiter tells me my meal will not be ready for 45 mins. I cancelled upon hearing that news. About 20 mins later the waiter shows up with my food and says the chef was playing a joke and my food was ready the whole tome. Although they comp’d the price of the meal this was totally unacceptable. The food was cold, bland, the calamari was artificial. Denny’s would have been better at that point. Never again.
It was my birthday I thought that I got really good seating turns out I was sitting next to a couple on their first date which was kind of awkward. They didn’t have really any of the drinks I ordered I had to re-order like four times. I just assumed that they would sing happy birthday or do something like that as it was my birthday and I let them know. It wasn’t my waiters fault she did amazing and had to keep speaking with her manager regarding the drinks. We went on a Monday night so they were plenty of babies and high chairs. It wasn’t the worst experience just thought it would be a little bit better because it was my birthday. Would still definitely go back I would just recommend whoever goes there for special occasion make sure they make it special for themselves.
It was ok. Food was overpriced and not very special. Desserts where special but flavor wasn’t there.
Lots of ambiance. Little flavor
The whole experience was not that impressive. Food was okay. Wait times vary but expect some long delays on the overpriced drinks. Waited 45 minutes for 1 shake. Won’t be returning.
Had a 9:00 reservation and didn’t get seated until 50 minutes later. Once seated had to wait 20 minutes to get waters, over and hour wait for food which wasn’t hot and under cooked.
When the food was brought out they completely forgot to bring one of our plates, so we had to wait for another 35 minutes. The appetizer didn’t come out until we were about to leave which was also undercooked. We asked over 4 times for a manager until one actually came to the table.
The music was too loud, you weren’t able to hear the person seated right in front of you. Overall worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Very disappointed and shocking because my experience at the location in Chicago was great but this just left a bad impression going to this location.
Had a good time
