   Waited for about 10 minutes before anyone actually acknowledged us at the hostess station to be seated in one of the MANY open tables there. Upon sitting down, the waitress informed us that “it’s going to be a really long time before any food comes out and then asked my party did we still really want to order. We kept it light and just ordered drinks since she said that would be quicker and that almost took 1 hr. Not going back.

   I had reservations for 8:30. We stood at the booth waiting to be seated while the STORE MANAGER SAT IN FRONT OF US NOT SAYING ANYTHING! (Couldn’t tell he was the manager because he had his hat turn to the back as if he wasn’t at work) I had to send my food back TWICE BECAUSE IT WAS UNDONE & cold

   Overall, had a great experience at the sugar factory in the Hard Rock casino, the only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because of the security guards on the casino floor. They were very rude and would not let us go to the restaurant without getting extra verification that we had a table waiting for us, even though I showed them our reservation.

   First we were never texted table ready had to walk to restaurant and get a text to show the casino service so my daughter could go to the restaurant. Then it took over an hour and a half for service which was a drink and sundae. The young lady was very nice but over stretched. It was a lot going on but we were celebrating my daughter turning 18 years old and this is where she wanted to come, from Navarre Fl.

   We had to find someone to seat us. The waitress (she’s been there 2 years) was nice but had very little input on the menu and was unable to give us any recommendations. We ordered but, had to keep re-ordering due to the kitchen not having the items we picked. We should’ve been told what was not available upon sitting. There was no mango for the drinks, no shrimp, no salmon, no veggies patties etc. I had to order the penne pasta which was lacking in flavor. The macaroni balls were fries hard and had no taste as well. I’d been there before so I expected much more.

   There was something going on that day and my rating is based upon how things went after the restaurant was trying to recover. Apparently, they were understaffed and had to refuse customers until they could catch up. They tried but the expectation wasn't met. There were a couple of mix ups with the order and what came out. I failed to do my research and had no idea this restaurant was in a smoked filled casino. I took two little 9 year old girls and they were happy to be there and enjoyed the rainbow sliders. The server was very sweet to give us an additional rubber duck (I tipped well for this). I won't go back to give them another chance to make it right due to the profuse cigarette smoke. The candy/gift shop wasn't freshly supplied.

   We scheduled reservations for Friday March 28,2025 at 9:00 pm . I recevied a text message at 3:00 saying the reservation was cancelled because of electricity issues. Ok cool, but never received any communication saying they back opend again.

    The food is on the level of a Movie Theatre, microwaved Frozen food . The Drinks were good, but I would Eat elsewhere, the food was pricey and not GOOD.
