Food and service were great But entirely too noisy It’s in a casino so there is always noise But, the piped in music is too loud

We made it to Sugar Factory 5 minutes before our reservation because we received a message saying that our table was ready. When we got there we stood at the hostess stand for 10 minutes so we decided to walk to the bar to let them know we have reservations. The hostess then walks off and had us to leave back out and come back to the hostess stand just for us to follow her back in to the table. When she sat us at the table the seats where dirty, the was trash and utensils on the floor. She stated someone would be with us shortly. We sat there for 50 minutes, we were never greeted by a waiter or waitress. The manager walked pass us several times, never said a word. Everyone was being served and greeted accept us. We didnt get to place our food or drink order. Eventually we left and I doubt if I every book a reservation again. The service was trash and definitely not what I expected or had been hearing about the supposed to be Great Sugar Factory.

The food and drinks were delicious. Everyone ordered something different and we all enjoyed our meals. Our server was great. Very friendly. The noise level was a bit loud, but only because of the location being inside of a casino.

Fun atmosphere, i would go back for the drinks and milkshakes. The food was mediocre. For the price i expected better quality food. Server was excellent.

So when I first visited the Sugar Factory in Biloxi, Mississippi two years ago on my birthday, I didn’t have any problems. I enjoyed my experience. This time was different. My boyfriend and I came down there with high expectations to celebrate both of our birthdays. The wait wasn’t long at all, which was good. We sat down, and it took a while for our server to come and take our orders. I’m a patient person, so usually, waits don’t bother me. We waited a good 20-25minutes before being seen. Mind you, the restaurant was not busy. When the server finally came, we both ordered non-alcoholic beverages for personal reasons. But the server said he didn’t hear us, so the bar ended up giving us alcoholic drinks, which ended up being a health issue for my boyfriend a couple of days later. For our food, I asked for my steak to be medium well, but my steak came out bloody, and the server said again that he “didn’t hear me” when I asked for medium well. My broccoli was cold, and the mashed potatoes were okay. Our appetizers were great, and my boyfriend’s food was great. Also, the food took so long to come out. We waited another good 30 minutes. I understand that the cook may have been busy, but what really had me upset is when one of the supervisors took my steak back, it took another 25-30 minutes. By the time my steak came out, my food was colder and I lost my appetite. We were both disappointed. The waiter didn’t do a good job of checking on us in between either. I had high hopes that night. My boyfriend still tipped our server because he has had server experience in the past. I wasn’t going to write a review, but I received an email to give feedback, so why not? I hope this helps. Sad to say, we will not be back.

The concept was cool, but it was poorly run. Two wait staff were extremely nice and good with service but there were not enough of them for the amount of tables. Drinks and food took about double the time you would expect for a normal restaurant’s service. First round was about 25 minutes. The entrees took about 45 minutes. We saw an unengaged manager hanging out with the bartender and two girls at the bar. Could have helped at the host stand so the two servers could server tables or help with first rounds. Saw a 14 top sit behind us that took over 45 minutes to get any drinks to the table. I did think the food was good. I got the salmon and my daughter got the sliders. I was told though that if I wanted to change from asparagus to broccoli it was a 5 dollar up charge. I’ve never heard of that. The upkeep of the restaurant was poor. It was everything from wall sconces being all out, to a mop bucket being store in plain sight right by the host stand and a missing table in the middle of the floor.

We went for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. We ordered a mimosa flight, hot honey chicken and waffles, and the breakfast tacos. We loved the experience.
