   We felt rushed by the wait staff despite the fact that the place was not full. Food was very tasty, but cocktails must have been made by waving the vodka bottle over the glasses, but forgetting to pour it in. This won’t be on a list of places I’ll be eager to return to anytime soon.

   SUDAS is now our favorite place! We do go at lunch time not sure what It’s like later We used to go to Cafe Cruz a lot We got tired of the crowded buzy Rush rush Severinos is now Shevys Not The Same! All about making $$$ New management the trend is ignore enjoyment go for the dollar , Love the service and fish tacos!

   Fun place to have brunch on the patio - definitely not a place to eat if you are in a rush, we were enjoying a lazy sunday so it was perfect for us but good to know ahead of time.

   The food was very good and our waiter was very nice and attentive. The hostess was not very friendly. It was a bright and sunny day, the atmosphere inside was dim for lunchtime. It is a beautiful restaurant. We are planning to try it for dinner.

    Why, oh why do I keep going back there? Probably because it's blocks from my house and the bar always seems fun and happening. But the food is execrable, and I know the servers are trying but they can't seem to get stuff right. Gets worse and worse.

    Great ambience and awesome service. I love they serve a caraffe of coffee for breakfast! We had the eggs benedict with salmon (the hook) - the eggs were excellent, but the sides which were only a large amount of very greasy fried potatoes was underwhelming. It would have been nice to have less fat on these and maybe a slice of fruit or veggies.

    The food was delicious and we were very happy with our server. The hostess had a terrible attitude and didn’t want to accommodate our request for a table. She gave us a bizarre excuse for seating us at the communal table despite our previously place reservation and five empty table visible. She said we didn’t specify, in our reservation, that we wanted a private table. This is not an option that comes up on Open Table so there was no way of knowing to do this ahead of time. It wasn’t until we asked to speak to a manager (feeling hella Karen) that our need was met. He came over and sat us at one of the open booths and made our experience so much better. I did note that three tables remained empty all the way up until we left, there was no need for us to be seated at a place we didn’t want to sit.

    Sat outside. It was cold. Food was fine, but nobody was raving about any particular item. Service was ok, but it took quite a while to get our food. Fish tacos were very underwhelming, way too much batter. I expected more from that dish. Less is more when it comes to a good fish taco.

    East side Neighborhood spot. Great for Summer date night on the patio or group parties. Love the burgers but the “wild mushroom” appetizer was just salty criminis with two little crostini crackers. I like the vibe tho. Great drinks. Overall love Suda.

    Love the food at Suda - I think it is the best in the SC / Capitola / Aptos / Soquel area and I always recommend it to others. Usually, we sit in the bar area at one of the two-person high tops but this time there were four of us, so we sat in the dining area proper. I hadn't noticed so much before, but it is awfully loud inside. You can really only carry on a conversation with one other person - which was too bad. When the weather is warmer, outside is better for conversation. Overall, I still recommend Suda for their great food options (I'm vegan). It's not the same old tired thing you get everywhere else in the area.

    My family enjoyed everything about our evening, except the music volume. I understand that the bar area might want louder music, but could it please be softened in the dining area to allow for some relaxed conversation? Thanks

    I had the wild mushroom pasta with chicken, and it was some of the best past I’ve ever had. Service was good, and the restaurant has an upscale but casual atmosphere. We’ll be back.

    One of the best places around to go for cocktails. The cauliflower appetizer is really fantastic, and all of the other food we had was great too. The New York steak I had was delicious, and cooked exactly the way I like it! Will return soon!

    We were there for a birthday dinner. It took over an hour to get our food. When it arrived….the food was cold. Our server was very kind but the kitchen needs to do better. We won’t be returning.
