Super good food. Excellent service and a beautiful restaurant and patio!

Food was good but service was horrible. Manager didn’t care that we had to sit on wet chairs, offered to lay newspapers down for us. The whole staff acted like it was an inconvenience that we were dining at their restaurant. No acknowledgment of the birthday we were celebrating. The food is not delicious enough for you to overlook the bad customer service.

Enjoyed lunch. Appreciate the fresh menu options. Casual, relaxing atmosphere. Wish menu had more clearly labeled ingredients of each dish, particularly for common foods allergens/preferences such as GF, Vegan, Vegetarian, nuts, dairy, etc.

I was recommended this place by a few friends in the area. The ambiance is great. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The drinks were great. Now we get to the food. I’m the executive chef of a restaurant myself so I say this wholeheartedly. The menu isn’t very cohesive. There isn’t a very thoughtful concept that runs through the menu. Everything that I ate was very very under seasoned. The main course I had was the squid ink pasta and chili shrimp. The saffron cream sauce tasted like warm milk and had no depth of complexity to it. The shrimp were cooked well but were covered in chili flakes. It was a bow of mush pretty much. No contrast in textures. As I sat for my meal I heard 2 other tables complain about their food as well. So overall this place is great for good drinks and what not but the food is lacking.

Great food although in my mind a little overpriced. Service was less than ideal, but that seems to be typical for this place.

Yummy food. We were a group of 4. Sat on the patio for a wonderful brunch. All fresh ingredients, service was fast and friendly. It was fun seeing all the old cars going by, a great beach vibe in pleasure point.

We had a lovely dinner on the patio. Cocktails and food were delicious - the detox salad is amazing. There was a fire pit and space heaters to keep us warm. Service was warm and attentive but not overbearing.

Great food, service and ambience! Highly recommend! The cauliflower burger was delicious and the snapper tacos were light and crispy!

I've been here twice and loved it both times! Not only are the staff friendly and helpful, but the service is pretty fast too. You won't have to wait too long to get drinks and appetizers, even when the place is pretty packed. Food is pricy but its so worth it, it is so good. They have a limited menu but for a reason, you can tell they have perfected what they offer.

We were new to town and were blown away by everything at Suda. Especially the delicious, effortless vegetarian options. Servers were attentive and over-communicative about our wait on drinks, which was appreciated. We'll be back!

Great food and great service

This restaurant is fantastic. I almost forgot that we have a pandemic, though they are very cautious... it was just such a nice evening! The burger is the best in SC, but anything on the menu is excellent! Highly recommend - patio is very nice!

Will most definitely return. Great choices and great flavors. Sat indoors (family wanted to, not me) but it was still a delightful dining experience.

Our dinners were fantastic! We had halibut and buffalo chicken salad specials. Service was tremendous too. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely excellent service, delicious drinks, excellent food. Comfortable outdoor dining.

Best breakfast in town. My husband loves the hash but they didn't have it on the menu so he had the portola Benedict and that is his new favorite.

My wife had the poke bowl. My son and I had burgers. My daughters had the kid’s chicken strips. We all liked our food. Afterward, we shared a few desserts and the blueberry cobbler was especially good. The mixed drinks were also really good. I don’t usually write reviews, but this was a good experience for the 5 of us.

Great food ...small brunch menu but the best breakfast potatoes I’ve had !

Loved our first out of the house meal since March. Lovely patio, friendly service, and I felt safe. There was a leaf blower (!) making noise but that couldn’t detract from the fun food and drink and our pleasure at returning to one of our favorite spots. Yea, wear your mask!

Visiting the santa cruz area during COVID and dining options are limited but found Suda on yelp. Menu items looked interesting and the service was very good. Our server Jade went above and beyond. We got the chopped salad which was nice and fresh and crunchy. Deb had the chicken marsela special and I had the ink pasta with shrimp. Dishes were very large. Actually too large. Trying to compensate a bit. Food was fresh but nothing special. Shrimp were not de tailed which i dont like. A bit on bland side. The menus seemed artfully crafted but the food was not as skillfully prepared. Overall good experience though. Great blueberry cobbler for desert.

patio was next to the busy street, but it was still a nice place to hang out. Windy and Chilly though. food and service good

One of my best meals for a long time. Live in New Orleans where eating is culture and fine dining is the norm. Reside in L.A. where I chase good meals. This was a nice last minute find.

Great food and nice service

We split the burger for lunch and it was enough for two. Also enjoyed a delicous craft cocktail. Friendly, safe service. Dined on the patio with lots of social distancing. Will be back to try the brunch.

Food was out of this world! Staff was friendly and attentive. The patio had heaters, which was awesome. The inside was decorated really cute. All around great place!

Favorite place in Santa Cruz , beautiful atmosphere and food is spectacular.

Felt safe at restaurant. All servers and employees were wearing masks. Only made contact when necessary while providing great service.

This is really more of a burger joint, and bar. I probably should have figured that out before I went, but they do have very good burgers.
