   Usually the food is good. Today, however the chicken in my friend’s salad wasn't that great.

   We decided to return to Sud Forno for our anniversary, service was ok, had a couple of questions with regards to drinks on the menu and was given a mediocre description of “ some people like it “. We ordered a charcuterie board as we had ordered the same thing last year and was quite pleased. This year, was a stark and rather bleak comparison for a higher price. Simply dropped at the table with no explanation as to what’s on it. The board consisted of basic deli meats that you would get at any store, four pieces of hard cheese, a pittance of what the original board had last year. No sauces, soft cheeses, for a higher price we felt robbed. Our original waitress when asked for the bill vanished and it wasn’t until another server asked if we needed anything, which then proceeded to give us the bill. Overall, we felt robbed that a charcuterie board of this mediocrity was passed off at such a high price. Two drinks, a charcuterie board and a soft drink should not come to 81$ for such a lack lustre experience. I’m not trying to complain, but the entire event left a very bitter taste in our mouth. Truly the experience compared to last year was day and night and not for the best.

   It was very busy but the staff were polite and helpful really lovely. Food was amazing Frito Misto , tagliatelle bolognese terrific and my pizza - Gorgonzola, pear and walnut fantastic

   The service was excellent! Food was very good. Excellent downtown Toronto location. We have been to this location twice. We will return.

   Great service and food . Temperature in the restaurant was quite cold which made it hard to enjoy sitting there. Also, the olive oil served with our complimentary bread was very unpleasant tasting. The server suggested it was the kind of olive oil but truly it tasted off.
