   Been coming here for many years, last night was a disappointment. Appetizers… The fried green tomato salad was swimming in dressing, the 3 very thin slices of tomato were buried under the arugula, the fried oysters were over cooked. As for entrees, the chicken and waffles… the syrup on the waffle was flavorful, but the waffle itself was thin and a bit dry. The fried chicken was super over cooked. The dirty chicken was also swimming in sauce. The collard greens, corn bread and drinks were good. We were asked about our meal by our server and the manager, we told both of them the food was meh and just ok. Their reaction… Fantastic! Trust me, it wasn’t fantastic.

   We have been here for a team lunch before. Now I remember why i haven’t been back before another team meal today. There is very little that appeals on the menu. All six of us were challenged to find healthy food that wasn’t fried. I asked to substitute something for the fries with my burger, and was offered Mac and cheese but not told that there would be a FIVE dollar up charge AND the kitchen missed the substitution and it came halfway through the meal. Totally meh experience for a special occasion.

   Made reservations here for dinner. It was one of the best meals I've had in a while. Every item our group tried was wonderful and the service was top notch! A definite must if you're in DC.

   Experience had issues from the start. Strobe light effect in one of the corners forced us to change tables as it was distracting. I ordered a steak medium that came out well done. Manager or hostess offered to bring me a side dish of Mac-n-cheese while I waited for another steak. It never made it to our table. The redo for the steak was half medium and half rare. Not good for those prices. My wife and son had the hamburger which was good as was the collard greens side dish. To top it off, the bill had a charge for 2 steaks. Shouldn’t have even paid for 1 of them. Disappointing.

   First time to Succotash Prime and we loved it! The French toast was a big favorite, I had the chicken sandwich and it was AMAZING. the service we received was perfect Nice job Case!!

   The food and service were outstanding. The waiter was very personable and knowledgeable and the food was incredible. I would definitely come back here again.

    Service was impeccable! Our waiter was so accessible but also left us to have our conversation over dinner. His recommendations were perfect! Food and drinks were fabulous. Our second time here did not disappoint!
