   Only 3 tables occupied for obvious reasons. Poor service from one harried waitress. We Ordered the $24 Seafood bowl that comes with shrimp, crab claws, mussels, potatoes and corn. Waitress brings it and tells us there were no potatoes or corn. Also missing were mussels. The shrimp were so over cooked and rubbery with no flavor left. Totally inedible. I had already sent back the $14 Margarita that was horrible and replaced with what I originally ordered which was good. Salads were good but didn’t compensate for the disastrous entree. Total bill was $74 for 2 salads and 1 margarita.

   The most fabulous Caesar salad in town was served to start. Our very attentive and friendly server rounded out a great night. We recommend the Caesar, the black bean burger, Tenderloin Sandwich and a look into the wide selection of Pinot Noirs. Leave some room for the generously sized desserts. The Tres Leches and Key Lime pie were rounding out our lovely meal.

   Went to celebrate a life event and had a wonderful experience with amazingly tasty food. Highly recommend!

   The location was convenient for business meeting. The staff was wonderful. And the food was delicious. Looking forward to going back.

   My husband and I went here for a spur of the moment date night. The service, food, and drinks were wonderful! We ordered a little bit of everything and was not disappointed. Will definitely be back! We also appreciated the chef for giving us a little history on why their oysters were the best…..in the city!

   Menu: Appetizers: Smoked boudin Woof grilled oysters Two prime ribs (one medium rare, one medium (don’t judge) One filet (medium rare) One Studewood Prime Cheeseburger (medium rare—be ready for A LOT of cheese) The great: 1) All of the meat was cooked perfectly. 2) Complimentary valet parking. 3) The chef engages the patrons and is receptive to feedback. The good: 1) The smoked boudin was flavorful and accompanied by everything you’d need for a very filling appetizer. 2) On this particular night there were two large birthday celebrations. There was also a DJ. The play list was great. It provided an upbeat atmosphere. 3) The wait staff is engaged and mostly knowledgeable about the menu The needs improvement: 1) Due to the large parties with many diners ordering cheeseburgers the kitchen most likely failed to provide enough time for the oil in its deep fryer to return to temperature. The result, some of the soggiest most unappealing fries we’ve ever had. Both diners with fries in our party ate fewer than three each before giving up. In the restaurant’s defense, we didn’t complain about it to the wait staff to have them try to fix it. We just pushed them aside since the portions of everything else are quite large in their own right. 2) The wood grilled oysters don’t need to be covered in such heavy cheese. It was literally the only thing we could taste.

    We’ve been to Studewood grill multiple times. You can usually get a table. The inside atmosphere isn’t great (music is loud and the decor is somewhat plain). Burgers and crab cakes are always great. Probably the best crab cake in town. Servings are large and the steaks are pretty good too!
