   We enjoyed our 38th wedding anniversary dinner at Stroud's on 8/28/2019. The server and his trainee provided excellent service. Stroud's is a bit pricy; but the quantity and quality of the food is way above average.

   The food was OK...but way over priced! The four of us paid over $60.00 for 2 chickens.

   Definitely not worth the $92.00 we paid for our meals this past Sunday. 1. The grease that the pork chops and the chicken breast was fried in was old and the fried product was darker on one of our parties plates then the others and they had a hint of burnt taste. The vegetables were the worst in Wichita, so very very bland. The severs were OK not great. This place must have been sold to new owners, it is nothing like what we expected based upon our research. We will never ever go here again and my group eat-out every Sunday after Church. What a disappointment. The local Fast Food Franchised Chicken and Catfish is a lot better then what we got here... save yourself some pain and go anywhere else.

   The service and food we're wonderful. Part of our group was vegetarian so I was concerned because they don't offer any vegetarian entrees. But they had several fish options which worked for them. The rest of us had the different variations of chicken, bone in, chicken strips, chicken fried chicken breast. All of use were happy with our food. The mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans wet served in bowls that we shared. Which was called family style In the menu. All of the other things we ordered came individually

   We had never been before. We had a large party and the service was amazing but was disappointed in the food. For 8 people we only got 1 bowl of green beans for everyone, which was not enough. Also the chicken fried steak was extremely salty was unable to eat it. It was way too busy to even say anything to waitress. Thank you for the wonderful staff, but I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone or probably come back.

   Service was great, food was better! We reserved our table the night before and our table was ready with no waiting. Cant wait to go back!

   Great food, poor service. We made a reservation, very specific where we wanted to sit. Was told not waitstaff for upstairs. We said ok, wanted the big east room. 30+ minutes later, they seated us behind a party of 40, in the dark west room. Our waitress was way overloaded, so we got no service. Food was very hot and fresh. We left full, but ears ringing from the noise from where we had make a reservation to NOT have to sit. I had given this a lot of thought, to avoid the location we go anyway. Don’t know what to do now.

   Our two Dallas, TX teams were in Wichita for the USBC Women's Nat'l Bowling Championships. Wichita is my hometown & I've always known Stroud's to be a great place to eat. They didn't disappoint! Our party of 8 was well taken care of by a very competent & attentive waitress. She took a picture for us of our group which turned out to be one of the best pictures of our trip to Wichita. The food was hot & delicious! Everyone in our group ordered either chicken or catfish & we all walked away pleasantly full. Thank you, Stroud's, for a great & memorable dining experience!
