   Getting in was cramped, sat at table that was then wiped down & left stained. Ambiance was rowdy everyone was shouting, couldn’t talk to partner had to shout. We were left waiting eventually asked what drinks we wanted asked a large kingfisher beer, partner wanted water, waiter looked disgruntled. Again waited for drink to arrive only it was half pint, couldn’t be bothered to complain. Waited again, a waiter came by & literally through the cutlery on the table, we ordered lamb chops & veggie samosas. 40mins in I received what can only be described as car tyres I didn’t see this on the menu, but like car tyres you can’t eat em, my other half was given mince samosas. That was it I called the waiter said I’m not accepting any of this, cancelled my order & left. Overall not a good experience ambiance, cleanliness, service, attitude, & quality garbage don’t go is all I can say.

   Good food but service was very slow, they did however many to accommodate a booking of 9 with very short notice

   Photos published by OpenTable are not real, the place is not that tidy and nice looking. Food is normal and in exchange of that, you get bad service and long wait. Price can be low considering the location but still expensive for the experience you get.

   On 25th evening most restaurants are closed. Strand Tandoori was one of the few open. They had 2 rooms, one on the Mai’s floor that was crowded and one upstairs with less people. They didn’t register well open table booking but they managed to give us the table. Service was good. The guys did their best to accommodate us and were very nice. The food was average.

   It’s cheap (we had 3 ppl eat for 40£), but the food is very average and the place is cramped and small. The waiters are very friendly, kind and attentive.

   Possibly the best Indian restaurant in London’s West End. A very small establishment so it is advisable to make reservations and be prepared to dine near other tables. One change from our visit two years ago - the only method of payment is cash. Otherwise a delicious and pleasant dinner. And surprisingly, the proximity of fellow patrons (perhaps because it was Christmas) made the experience even more joyful.

   Waited for 50 minutes for our mediocre food to arrive. The place was extremely congested and no ventilation in the restaurant. Definite miss

    We were a table of 10. The meal was as good as we have in our favourite tandoori restaurant. Outstanding for such a busy area, fab location. So easy for theatre land, Covent Garden etc
