   My dinner at Stonewood Ale House tonight was absolutely spectacular! To start off, the service was truly outstanding to say the least. Our server Nick never once made us wait for a refill and was prompt with everything else we asked of him. Secondly, I could not believe how good these cocktails were. I had the New York Sour and my friend had the Key Lime Martini. I’ve been on the hunt for a place that makes a good NY Sour ever since my trip to New York and let’s just say the hunt is over! Additionally, the Key Lime Martini was so good that a single sip of my friend’s drink was nowhere near enough, so I HAD to order one for myself. Lastly, the food itself was superb. I ordered the ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection. The wood fire grill they use here gave the steak a great flavor but did not dry it out in the slightest, which I was worried about because a lot of other restaurants don’t know how to cook steak properly. Thank god Stonewood does though! My friend got a full slab of ribs which was just as good, if not better than my steak. These ribs had a wonderful flavor and fell off the bone with ease which are the two main things I look for when eating ribs. I will definitely be coming back here soon!

   I came here for lunch with friend and had a great experience! We were greeted by the friendly manager who let us sit at a booth by the window. The ambiance was lively but still quiet enough to have a conversation which we appreciated. Our server Christina was lovely and attentive to our needs. The food came out very quickly! The french onion soup was delicious, the broth was on point and the cheese was broiled over perfectly. Also, highly recommend the ribs and shrimp, the ribs were cooked just right and we had an array of 4 different flavored BBQ sauces to eat with. The shrimp is nice and crispy and seasoned well. I will definitely be back, thank you Stonewood!

   Wow! This place is a hidden Gem. We had lunch today and have been here for dinner on several occasions and they don’t miss. Service is always terrific starting at the front we were greeted with a smile. They have a great tap list and tasty cocktails! NOW the best part! The food! They have a lot of variety on their menu and the food is always so good! The burgers are my personal favorite but my husband swears by the skirt steak! 10/10 would recommend.

   The smokey aroma of wood fire grilling greats you at the door. The food is fabulous! The variety of menu choices is perfect, options for any palate. We enjoyed all of the items we ordered, and our server, Betty Lee, helped us make the best choices. The service was good, as was the ambience. There are several different areas for seating to suit your needs. Bar seating, High Tops, Booths and Group seating in several different settings. Don't miss this hidden gem conveniently located in the Woodfield area with easy access to the highway, Higgins Rd and Gold Rd. We will be back.

   No one told our server that we were seated we did not get created till 15minutes after coming in. We don't blame the server for not being told. He did great after he realized what happened

   I ordered my usual the out roast sandwich. Not as good as it used to be. Was on a pretzel roll. This time in w burger bun. The meat was less too. Was disappointed. Not sure if I'll order that again. Jory Bartman
