Food was good and the service was outstanding. Will eat here again, but will not order drinks. The bar really skimps on the alcohol.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there with friends!
The food is excellent and the service is great. Whether you want a full dinner or drinks and appetizers, Stone Summit is a great choice. The happy hour specials on both food and drinks in the bar area will pleasantly surprise anyone who has not yet been there. Wednesday and Thursday offer similar specials 'till later in the evening, for ladies' night.
Our waiter was excellent. The food was pretty good. For $26 I would've expected my prime rib be a little warmer than it was, but overall good flavor. Salad was not bagged & baked potato was huge. Their bread is a little strange as it's warm soft pretzels. Overall good experience & I think we will be back.
The food was great. The service not as much, but it wouldn't be a deterrent to return. The server left our drinks from the bar sit for at least 15 minutes before getting them to us. Other than that, everything was great. Food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful.
Service from ordering to food delivery to table very slow.
Chicken Modiga was tasteless and dry. Expected sirloin to be more tender, I prefer Texas Roadhose sirloin.
In general, this was a great place to eat. My review is a little skewed as my husband and I ate there on New Year's Eve, so it was a little crazy. The woman who waited on us pointed out she was a manager, however, she didn't really seem to know what was going on. For example, one of the meals was supposed to come with one side and salad. When I ordered, she told me I needed to choose two sides and did not offer a salad as one of the sides. I asked for A1 and she brought me water, we were done with our apps before she got us small plates, etc.
I think if we'd had a normal server and if it had been on a regular day, the service would have been excellent. I would definitely try this place again on a not so busy night.
2nd time here and both times have been very enjoyable. This time was New Years Eve. Obviously very busy but everything moved very efficiently. Service was great and food very good. Would recommend to anyone.
We had reservations for 7:45. We were seated at 7:50 but told there was no server for our table they would find one. About 10 minutes later Savannah our sever came over and said. Well it looks like they gave me your table in an rates I don’t have any other tables. (That made us feel welcome). She never refilled water glasses and my husband had to ask for his beer 3 times. I am a good ripper because I have had children in the industry for years. But not this time. For the cost of our meal our service was no better, if not worse than a Red Robin or Applebee’s. Very disappointed !
I have had many great meals including lunch and dinners at Stone Summit, even my sons rehearsal dinner this past September. My experience on New Years eve was not a good one. I made 7:15 reservations on line a week in advance and ended up not being seated until after 8 pm (The girls up front seemed to have forgot about us and we had to go back and remind them we were waiting for a table). Note our group did have a good time seated at the bar area. Our waitress showed up quickly and got our waters and drink refills, we then waited 20 plus minutes for her to get back for a food order. By then Stone Summit was out of the Steak Special that was on the menu that 2 people in our party wanted. We ended up ordering grouper off their menu which overall was pretty good, but the fish seemed dry/overcooked. Every time we ordered drinks from the bar it seemed like it took 15 - 20 minutes for someone to return with them.
Overall it was a good experience, staff was friendly, but our meal and overall service was lacking. I would recommend Stone Summit to friends and chalk up my New Years Eve experience to it being a busy night and a few employees not having a good night either.
Wife had special that included lobster claw, but there was no evidence of lobster in this dish. However, her steak was superb. My carbonara was great.
Kabobs were incredibly tender but not very flavorful. Our other entree was New York strip which was flavor-packed, juicy, and perfectly grilled. Added a North Atlantic lobster tail to share and it didn't disappoint!
We ate there on New Year’s Eve. Our waitress was very sweet and working hard, but it took us a long time to get our food. I kind of expected that considering it was a holiday so that was not a big issue. The steaks were very dry and hard to cut. I. Couldn’t tell if the meat was that tough or the knives were that dull. I got the Salmon served with Rissota while the Salmon was sizzling the Rissota was cold. Overall not impressed with the food for the money.
We had a group of 8 and had a wonderful time. My husband who does not like hardly any restaurant really liked the food and the ambiance! Just wish you had round tables! We will be back!
We were celebrating ours sons engagement with his fiancée and her parents. It was a great night.
I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The food was excellent, it wasn't noisy (except for probably the noise I was making), and the service was outstanding. I may be a bit skewed in by viewpoint because the company I had was super great but I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.
We were very disappointed in the food and the price. Would not return.
My salad had hardly any dressing on it so I basically had lettuce with cheese and croutons. The server, instead of giving us advice on sauces for the steak, described two of them in an unflattering manner and then just told us about the up charge choices. My 8 oz steak though delicious was thick so it was cooked too long and the outside was barely able to be cut through.
The Marsala sauce my husband ended up getting was delicious though!
The sides were good to very good, but the steak had a propane/gas taste to it like someone got very heavy handed with some charcoal lighter fluid. The steak was prepared properly. It looked good. It just didn’t taste that good unfortunately.
The food is excellent but the service is poor. The waitress was nice but took 5 minutes for her to come and take our drink order. And when the table next to us was empty that waitress proceeded to vacuum while we were still there
Came in from Ohio and went for dinner. The menu is confusing with steaks ranging up to $46 and a variety of seafood dishes mixed with value priced entrees. I ordered from the “From the Bluffs” menu, assuming they were signature items. I ordered the country fried steak and was very disappointed that it was not a signature item, but clearly pre-processed and out of the freezer.
Steaks were chewy and not tasty. Mahi mahi wasn’t very good either.
Service was great and food was as well. Food also well priced
Stone Summit's atmosphere is a little cafeteria like with many tables close together, bright lights, and hard surfaces. The noise level was loud. The service was very slow and we had to ask for drink refills. The food on the other hand was good. I would not go here for a romantic or special occasion but it is fine for a decent everyday meal.
Good food. Great service.
Food quality did not equal expectations or price. Ordered artichoke spinach dip chips were stale. I was befuddled that a steak and seafood house did not feature a porterhouse or t-bone cut?! Also when we ask for bread we were brought to Pretzel rolls? That was it. We waited over an hour for our food and the restaurant was not busy at all. Our iced tea was only refilled at our request 3 times never noticed and refilled. For the pricing of the menu I would have thought the atmosphere in the restaurant could have been a bit more cozy but it was more like a Hot Shots Bar atmosphere a little lacking. I can say I've tried the place but I won't be back. So this price I would rather travel to Sam's Steakhouse.
Excellent food service was great will definitely go back.
My wife and I recently celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary and were delighted ! We enjoyed filet mignon and delicious sides with salad and a bottle of wine. The manager, Aaon came by to ask how our meal was and wish us a happy anniversary. Also our server was Casie and she was extremely attentive and polite and well groomed. We love this restaurant and recommend it to everyone! Five stars is not enough to describe this place !
Perfect, the Prime Rib was very well prepared.
Our waitress Anna was beyond fabulous. Our drinks never were even half full, food was prompt, and management checked in with us numerous times.
We come here often and will continue to keep coming back !
Very nice looking place from the outside, needs to be updated inside needs more of a comfort feeling. Bar area looked really nice did not visit extremely crowded. Drinks were very expensive compared to similar restaurants. Will probably not return.
The proteins were good but the sides were a little bland. A tad overpriced too. The drinks were great!
Upscale vibe, nice atmosphere, great food and the noise level is low enough you can actually hear your date. The host and wait staff were friendly and attentive.
Food was just ok. I’d hoped for something a little nicer for our date night. Lemon drop martini was weak. Appetizer was basic and entrees were unimpressive. Very good service though. Attentive and kind. Also, the restaurant was cold and super quiet... almost uncomfortably so.
Everything about this place was just OK. The food, boring.. The service, meh; almost like she read from a script.. She didn't know much about the very limited bar options or menu. The kitchen was very very slow; if the place would have been packed, I would have understood.. But it was pretty empty for a Friday night.
We have been there many times and have always had a pleasant experience. Our dinner partners thought the food was great, but lacked atmosphere. We were seated in the far west dining room for the first time, so that may have influenced there opinion.
It was my Birthday Dinner with family and we had a fantastic time together! The food was great and we didn’t go away hungry at all. The server went above and beyond for my little nephew and his older brothers. She made sure he had the children’s menu to occupy himself with and engaged in conversation with all of us. She even voluntarily asked if we wanted a group picture so I had Wonderful memories to take home.
Service was great but for a steakhouse the steaks were not that great for the price! Steak doesn't have much flavor. This was our second time to try them, but dont believe we will be back. They want to be a steakhouse but dont have the ambiance or flavor.
Great place to eat. Food was excellent as well as the service. Highly recommend this place.
