This dinner was a bummer. We went to STK in April and it was delicious. This time we came and tried the $69 special and it was disappointing. The food quality seemed to be less than our previous dinner and I specifically ordered the same filet. My filet was under cooked, by boyfriends porterhouse was stringy. The wagyu potstickers were good - but those were not sort of the special. It feels like ordering from the special is also asking for cheap food.

We recently celebrated the birthdays of two close friends at STK, and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an incredible atmosphere—chic, lively, and full of energy. The stylish décor and ambient lighting immediately set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable night ✨✨✨ The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From appetizers to dessert, each bite exceeded our expectations. The cocktails were equally impressive—creative, perfectly balanced, and crafted with such flair🩷 What truly made the night special, though, was the outstanding service. A huge shoutout to Diego, who went above and beyond to make our celebration feel truly personalized and memorable. The music provided by the DJ added another layer of fun to the night—the playlist was spot-on, and the vibes were perfect. Thank you to the entire STK team for helping us create such special memories. It was a night full of laughter, love, and celebration—and we couldn’t have picked a better place. We’ll definitely be back soon!

First time at STK in San Francisco and wow, it did not disappoint. Let’s start with the ambience: this place is stunning. Chic, spacious, with a lively but not-too-loud vibe and yes, there’s outdoor seating if you’re feeling that al fresco moment. The staff? Super friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Big shoutout to Diego for making our night even better! Now, the food. We came for Steak Night, and yes — we tried everything on the menu. The starters were a hit: my husband couldn’t get enough of the Caesar salad and those little Wagyu sliders (aka “lil’ burgers”) were dangerously good. But for me? The jalapeño pickled shrimp cocktail stole the show spicy, tangy, fresh, and so addicting. For the main event, we went all in: the dry-aged Porterhouse steak was cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with a bottle of Cabernet (included with the meal! classy move, STK). The tater tots deserve their own award. Crispy, golden, addictive little bites of joy. We wrapped it all up with dessert the “Bag O’ Donuts” and the Apple Pie were the perfect sweet ending. Classic comfort with a luxe twist. STK is a full-on vibe! whether you’re out with friends, on a date, entertaining family, or just treating yourself to a solo night of good food and better energy. I’m definitely adding this to my regular rotation whenever I’m downtown SF and in need of a solid meal and a mood.

I had an awesome time at STK San Francisco! Our hostess, Tatiana, was super friendly and helped us snag a great spot at the bar right away. Then there was Corwin, the bartender, who mixed up some amazing cocktails and kept the good vibes going with his fun personality. They really made our night special! Sunday brunch for the win!!! we had the lobster Benedict, the avocado toast, the crab omelette, and the all American big breakfast. We all got the bottomless mimosas. Everything was so good. Even the bread they bring to the table is so sweet and cinnamony. It was out of this world. It was like a complete other entrée. definitely coming back for the brunch!

The food at STK in San Francisco was delicious. I had the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly, and the sides were also excellent. The service provided by our server, Karyn, was attentive and friendly, and the hostess, Tatiana, greeted us warmly upon arrival. The ambiance was lively and upscale. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a high-quality steakhouse experience in the city.

Our server was very friendly , however the overall experience was not great. We ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner- only time it was poured was during the tasting. We poured ourselves throughout. Shared plates were not brought out with the starters. Bread never came out before starters. The steak was on the slightly cold side. The shrimp tasted frozen. The apple pie took ages. Then toward the end, we felt rushed into paying- as we do understand it was closing, you should never make the guest feel it. There’s always sidework and closing duties that can take place. Also, for a reputable restaurant like STK, no sight of a manager on the floor. No table touch from him/her at all. The restaurant was empty , so the lack awareness and anticipation was concerning.
