   Went in for our anniversary. Our waiter was not attentive as he was to other tables. Drinks were empty for a while before he checked in on us and wasn’t the one who brought the drinks. We’ve been to STK in other cities so we were definitely looking forward to the food here. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

   We visited on 5/18, after the Bay to Breakers race. This was our first visit and we were really excited. Our server was fantastic and the bloody Mary was great. My husband ordered a burger and fries. The burger was overcooked and chewy. I ordered a steak, lobster, mac & cheese, and corn. The filet was average, and did not compare to comparable restaurants in the city. The mac & cheese was fishy and under salted. The corn was just average, and also under salted. Overall, this meal did not meet our expectations, particularly when the bill was over $200.

   STK exceeded my expectations from start to finish, it was such a vibe. The ambiance was sultry from all the lighting and upscale without feeling too formal—great for both date night or girls night. I ordered the filet with truffle butter and it was cooked perfectly, ridiculously tender and full of flavor. The brunch menu had so many options—highly recommend the lobster benedict and jalapeno shrimp cocktail. Our server was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations throughout the night. Chef Damian’s touch on the menu really stands out; you can tell he puts thought into both flavor and presentation plus he's so nice and friendly! I’ll definitely be coming back for a girls night since I took my partner for brunch—it’s a place that makes you feel taken care of while delivering on taste and experience.

   Last night my wife and I decided to take a mid week night out on the town, starting with STK and let me say what a great decision that was. The late night happy hour specials were out of this world, especially for an upscale restaurant in SF. Aside from getting a few cocktails that were recommended by Kat, my wife and I both ordered Porterhouses per the recommendation of one of the managers Ryan. Spectacular. Cooked perfectly, seasoned well, what more could you ask for?? The ambiance was wonderful, the staff were exemplary and I think it goes without saying I will be back.

   This place is ridiculously over priced. We spent $500.00 on 2 adults and a child. The food was good but not for the price. You can get a steak anywhere else for a cheaper price.

   We visited STK in SF on Mother's Day 2025. Unfortunately, without any notification STK cancelled their happy hour (which was the purpose of our visit). We proceeded to order Lil Brgs (which is our favorite appetizer), and for $40 we received two small mini-burgers that had a cold bun and had clearly been sitting in the kitchen when we ordered. Bottom line, $77 for two Lil Brgs and tater tots is significantly over priced, which might be acceptable if they were delicious, but they were not. While the staff was very friendly, they didn't seem to care that the cancelled their happy hour. Two other groups walked out before we did with the same complaint. Very disappointing experience given the wide variety of choices in SF.
