Street side seating meats some of the best food on the block!
Steak cooked to requested temp and Brussel sprouts are the best side ever.

We went to STK to celebrate my wife's birthday and we absolutely loved it. Emily was super nice took really good care of us. The food was really good too: my wife had the lobster pasta and I had a 10oz filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. It was a tad expensive but I guess that's the price for being in such a cool and chic atmosphere.
Great atmosphere and ambiance even during the times of COVID-19. Tables were spaced out and it was a safe dinning experience even though we were doing outdoor dinning. The bone in filet was amazing which was paired with a bottle of Decoy, lobster mac & cheese. With a side of red wine.
The staff was very attentive and exceeded our expectations. The manager Mario frequently stopped at our table and others to make sure everything was okay.
Alex was an amazing server and gave 5 star service. I'll definitely be back to visit and I'm looking forward to STK being able to open fully.
Our first STK experience was excellent. Cooper was a great server. The hostesses were super friendly. The Tomahawk steak was awesome. We had a great outdoor dining experience. The only improvement would be the DJ music which was a little distracting (your favorite 80s song would be a cool remix but then it cuts suddenly to a totally different song and you are left waiting to see if another good song will play). Fortunately, the music wasn't too loud and you could hear each other over it.
The food was great! Our first time was amazing. From the ambiance to the food we enjoyed it all. Will definitely go again in the future
STK was fantastic. The patio seating was nicely done with heaters spaced all around. The staff worked very diligently to ensure my wife and I were always taken care of. The food was timely and very tasty.
Raphael was amazing. He was so attentive and his recommendations were spot on. Mario was a delight as always and Max showed my husband a great whiskey pairing. Definitely will be back very soon.

When you’re able to eat inside it will be a five star beautiful inside . But let me say they made the outside very nice with good heating . The service was over the top ! Alex made our anniversary so fun and glad we celebrated with STK. we couldn’t decide between a filet and the sea bass . So we split among our entrees and was the perfect pairing . Both entrees were so delicious! I love steakhouses now I can add this one as one of the Best ! Relaxing and fabulous food . Worth the money you spend .
We went on Wednesday evening to celebrate our anniversary. Service was prompt and friendly. Matthew is a fantastic server and he made great recommendations that were well received. We ordered the ceviche to start followed by the surf n' turf and lil' brgs'/caesar salad/fries. All of it was great. Filet done perfectly, salad had great crunch and taste, mini burgers packed a punch, lobster was lobster, and the fries truffly. The "fries" were a bit thick to be called fries in my opinion but they were still good. We were starving when we sat down hence the large order. It was definitely too much food but we still managed to get some dessert to celebrate our day. Matthew recommended the donuts and as he hadn't steered us wrong, we acquiesced. They were delicious. A great way to end the meal. Thanks STK!
Can't wait to go back inside! STK interior is why you go there (besides the amazing food), but outside is windy and cold and takes from away from the specialness, but it's not their fault. Food and service was still outstanding.
Average steak compared to similar steak houses. Got our steak cold and undercooked. Drink portions were insanely small with an average price of $19! There are dar better places in San Diego to go spending $400 for two and get far better food. I have to say that our server was amazing and very hospitable.
Had issues with our order, major issues. My date and I ordered the seafood platter, $42/ea person. It was supposed to include shrimp, clams, mussels, oysters, crab legs, calamari and ceviche however we were given shrimp, oysters and ceviche. When I brought it up to the waitress she brought 2-4” crab legs. We asked for the other seafood that was included and she said ‘oh we ran out. I’ll buy you donuts.’ NOT happy!
We had an awesome experience at STK. From start to finish Raphael was so helpful with the menu and so accommodating to all of our requests. His recommendation on the Delmonico was fantastic and the food was cooked to perfection. STK made it a great night out.

Horrible experience, I’m not sure if it was due to a holiday they were unable to keep up or if this is just the norm. Made a reservation for 10:00 with a $200 deposit so I was not going to leave didn’t eat until 11:30pm. Not a local. Disruptive guest was sitting behind us who was not only disrespectful to the staff I was not only disappointed in food but in management lacking protection of staff. By the time it was time for us to get our food they ran out of certain foods. I won’t ever be coming back. Worst experience I’ve ever had.
Only good thing was our waiter kept a smile even through all the crap he got put through.

Our reservation was seated two hours late and then we had to take our food to go because they were closing. I am calling the restaurant to demand a refund for our service. I also would expect a refund on the $200 deposit since that didn’t even secure a table or our evening together. This was utterly ridiculous even with COVID guidelines.
Paid a $100 reservation fee per person on Valentine’s Day. Reservation was at 8:30pm and we weren’t seated until 11pm.
I really wanted to have an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner, however everything went south. We made reservations at 8:30. Right outside of the hotel there was a crazy mob of people really close to some of the outdoor dining tables. The hostess did look overwhelmed as we checked in. The restaurant was 1 hour plus behind. We did have to cancel our plans for later on that night. We decided to wait as a few of my Travel Agent coworkers raved about this place. We didn’t not get seated until 10:00pm. The hostess was kind enough to let us know that we would not be rushed. Our server Alex was very kind and tried to give us updates about our food. As we were sitting waiting for our food, we would hear that other tables were getting compensated for their wait and would get free drinks or desserts. We were very very patient and tried to enjoy the night as much as we could but didn’t not find it fair that everyone else who was being rude and complaining about everything got free drinks/desserts. The manager didn’t even step near to apologize for the inconvenience. The food was okay. For the price, I’ve had wayyyy better food and not as cold.As a travel agent I love to recommend new places to my clients. Unfortunately I will not be recommending STK to my high profile clients. I would not want them to go through the same situation.
Great food and excellent service. We went for Valentine’s Day dinner and had prepaid a $200 deposit to guarantee our time. Showed up on time - only to find out that they had overbooked and there were probably 25 coupes waiting on the curb and in the street - they were horribly behind schedule. We were not seated until 8:30. Since people had prepaid - if you left you would not get a refund - only a gift card. The restaurant is pretty the food is good but they really screwed up on the delivery. They did pass out free cocktails while we waited but I would have preferred to be seated on time. Overall it’s a good restaurant. In this price point, however, there are other high end steak places that are better. The atmosphere is part of what you’re paying for at this venue - Its like a high end steakhouse mixed with a night club kind of vibe. It’s nice but could be better for the price.
We had reservations at 7pm and we weren’t able to get a table until an hour after we checked in. They overbooked a lot of people for Valentine’s Day and everyone including myself and my significant other were very upset because we had to wait a long time like 1-2 hours to be seated. That was unacceptable and terrible customer service, what’s the point of having reservations if they’re not going to respect your reservation time?? The food was good but that doesn’t take away from the horrible experience of us waiting so long to be seated. It was our very first time dining there as well.
Our reservation was at 645 ( prepaid deposit of $400.00 fro Valentines ) and we weren’t seated until approximately 9:30 PM maybe later .
Needless to say the wait was SOOOOO LONG. Certainly a restaurant that promotes fine dining and cost a lot should not take reservations IF they cannot accommodate guests as they say they do. My children and I watched as guests were being seated ( who apparently did NOT pre- pay ) and when I questioned the host I was told that tables can only accommodate 2 people. If that was the case WHY couldn’t they connect 2 tables to accommodate the four of us??????
Our food came at approximately an hour and half later and some of the items were either very cold OR very hot .
Our server was good even if I had to repeatedly ask for our soda / refills on water .
Another “fail” was when our food arrived our the sprouts were missing - She forgot to tell us that they ran out. We ordered the asparagus in place of the brussel sprouts and of course they came out 20 minutes later and burnt !
A horrible experience for $800 for four people! It’s a shame because our NYE dinner @ STK Cosmopolitan was such a wonderful experience - our whole reason for going to STK SD.
Hopefully next time this restaurant ( specifically the manager / hosts will have more structure when it comes to seating and reservations for such events.

Food was phenomenal. Steak was cooked to ordered specifics. The sides were great. Outdoor dining was up to par. Quite a few heat lamps to keep the temperature reasonable after dark.
Only issue was 20-30+ people crowded around waiting on their reservations to be open due to the kitchen being backed up. Took away from the setting.

Very nice. Wish we could’ve been inside as requested but it’s good over all food is amazing and will definitely go back.
Great place to dress up and dine at. The ambience of the restaurant was amazing, not to mention the decor. Food was delicious and we can't wait to be able to go back to enjoy indoor dining in the future.

Went for Valentine’s Day lunch, overall not happy with service. food took about 45 mins to come out and our server did not bother checking in on us.
It was my birthday/ Valentine’s Day . They took over 35 mins to bring my fiancé’s orange juice and even longer to longer for our food. None of the food was hot and they even forgot the truffle butter for our truffle steak and eggs. We ordered scrambled eggs and got over easy. They never even brought out a birthday dessert or anything. It was the worst experience, especially for such an upscale restaurant.
The food was amazing the server was so nice and up lifting we will definitely go back to eat and see her again

Food was great, service good, I would have given them a higher score but we were sitting outside and they were not prepared for the weather. We were rained on which wasn't their fault but nothing was done regarding the inconvenience
We were seated 30 minutes after reservations. We ordered 1 steak, a side of asparagus, a salad, 2 alcoholic beverages. For a cost of $200 (including tip). We waited about 15 minutes after we ordered for our food to arrive.
