Not a great experience at all long wait time for food and wasn’t worth the wait at all
Food is way overpriced, steaks are nothing special here definitely not worth what you pay for one

Great experience at STK! We were celebrating 2 birthdays and were made to feel so special the whole night. Cooper took excellent care of our table and went above & beyond in every way! Can’t wait to come back.
Service was amazing, Emma was great and she was new and you couldn't tell. We really enjoyed her. Food was great except their dessert kind of sucks. They need to step up their dessert options. Nothing beats Ruth's Chris' cheesecake.
It's REALLY loud in there, we actually asked them to lower the volume a bit so we could at least hear each other talk, which they did.
Our table was in the back room in the corner and it was FREEZING cold. Something was just blowing freezing cold air under the table. I'm always hot and I was freezing cold. I actually got a bunch of cloth napkins to put on my legs. They were super nice about it and actually turned the AC down a bit to make it warmer and it helped.
It's super expensive but we knew that going in. 5 of us was $1,018. The total bill was $1,418 with the tip. Emma did great and deserved the great tip. We also ordered a ton of stuff that might not be standard for most people. We got a lot of expensive appetizers for the whole table and a lot of drinks as well. But don't count on getting dinner there for less than $100 per person if you are drinking alcohol.
I'd recommend it to others, we may go again but we are about an hour away from San Diego and we'd most likely hit Ruth's Chris for the money and a more quiet dinner. But STK is going for a more energetic vibe, so it's just 2 different experiences.
I highly recommend that they step up that dessert menu. If they had cheesecake as good as Ruth's Chris we'd be more likely to go back. Their cheesecake was just frozen ahead of time I believe, felt similar to cheesecake from a fast food restaurant. Steaks were amazing though as was everything else. Sweet corn pudding is awesome.
Just before taking off, we got one more meal in at STK. The steak I had was cooked properly and tasty, and the brussel sprouts were excellent. However, we had one gripe - the BBQ bacon. It was $22 for one slice of bacon cut in half, that was just okay. Pretty preposterous. Most steakhouses are far more generous in serving slab bacon and don't even charge nearly as much. Just seems silly to do that. I know we have inflation going on but come on 😂
Amazing! It truly was more than we thought it would be! You will not be disappointed but plan to SPEND THAT MONEY!💰😁 (pictures don't do it justice)❤

Matthew took care of ALL our many many requests, offer guidance in ordering the right amount of food for the table, kept our drinks full and our bellies happy. He was very knowledgeable of all the plates and on top of suggestions to make the meal even bette faith appropriate side and saunas recommendations.
The Chef went above and beyond with his culinary skills.
Will do it again for sure. Thank you STK for providing us with an amazing experience.

Food wasn’t to the standard, we are paying top money for less than normal food, calamari was overcooked and lobster linguini was normal and my steak was over priced.
Unlike a lot of the other reviews, we didn’t have to wait a long time to be sat so we were placed in a little upstairs area in front of a TV. The main restaurant area had great ambience and a great vibe, but the upstairs area was lacking. The food was just so so considering the price. If I’m paying $300 for two people to have dinner, next time I will go to a place with better food(Morton’s Larry’s, Flemings, Selanne’s) . Again, the vibe inside the restaurant is great, just wish the food was.

Had the lobster and it was very watery indicating that it was frozen and it was over cooked. Cocktails are over priced. Steak was not like any other dry aged steak I have had in the past.
Our first time here and everything was amazing from the minute we sat down! Raphael waited on us and he was excellent! On point with the recommendations he gave us and knowledgeable with wine list! Please add Raphael to my reservation so that we may be served by him next time!!! A great way to start my birthday month of celebrations!
Second try and the service in this place is so SLOW

I generally would recommend STK. This night, they were short staffed. As a result, I waited 30 minutes even though I had a reservation. The table was not wiped. Candle not lit. My food was given to another table. It was altogether not the best experience. Unfortunately, I was told that corporate over books them regardless of staffing. Food was just ok.
Very disappointed; the food quality is deficient, unfortunately, no coming back in the future.
Excellence service and food!
First off, I believe this restaurant is operating exactly as envisioned: Loud garish music straight out of a University frat house, overpriced entrees, and poor sassy service. If this sounds like your bag you’re in luck! As a streak house with pricing well above the average high end restaurant, it’s hard to believe how mediocre this food tastes. The appearance is also lacking. I myself have grilled far better at home, and I’m not trained in the culinary arts. It is equally baffling that service could be so mediocre and inattentive. Our wine, while ordered first, came after apps and salad. Even after reminding the waiter, it came late. News flash: Steak eaters at a steak house require steak knives. Obvious right?? Well apparently not for this wait staff, who are more interested in carrying sparklers around the dining room like a bottle service babe at a night club. My $91 steak was less satisfying than Sizzler. But I hate to insult Sizzler.

We do our best to knock it out of the park, and unfortunately it sounds like the ball was dropped the moment you walked in. We pride ourselves on service so I'm sorry you caught us on an off night. Our server cooper was amazing had great recommendations and made the time and wait for food completely enjoyable! Great drinks as well.
Absolutely defeats the purpose of having a reservation. Arrived at 7:50 for an 8pm reservation, and was not seated until half an hour later, didn’t get anything at all. Didn’t get anything on the table until another half hour passed. Music was so loud I could not even hear my wife speAk. We ordered our food and all that came out was a piece of steak that was over cooked when I asked for medium rare and my wife received a piece of fish instead of what she actually ordered. Absolute trash this place is. The stakes were way overpriced and way over/undercooked. The only good thing of the night was the servers patience. Not a snowballs chance In hell I would come back here.

Made a RSVP at STK. Been to the location in Vegas and had a great experience. We had a group of 6 and were seated in a nice private location. A team leader came over after 5 minutes and told us he needed the table for another group coming in an hour later. We had a reservation now, however was not given an option and ended up next to DJ booth, hence very loud.
Our new waiter did a nice job presenting options and delivering the food, however never bothered to ask how our food was. I had to waive down a manager to share all our disappointment as everything was luke-warm to cold. Flavor was good...just cold. It took a while to get the food and with the seating snafu we were pretty much done. The manager was very apologetic, comped a portion of the meal, provided some deserts and offered to assist us with our next visit back in AZ. Very much appreciated his professionalism and willingness to make things right. We had other post dinner plans, so re-firing was not an option.
Bottom line was the bill was set to tally over $1000 for six. We also had one bottle of wine. In addition, the place somewhat resembles a nightclub atmosphere in the evening as the music gets louder. Not for me, as we sit for a meal of this level.
Bottom line, very much overpriced. This business has the making of a super dinning experience, however the one team leader needs to go and turn the music down. Menu, food options and flexible presentations are attractive.
The waiters was nice but nails dirty and drinks where expensive and light handed.
Dinner was outstanding!!! Best experience in San Diego so far! From the staff up front, the wait staff and incredible dinner. I will 100% be back again!
Service wasn’t too friendly. Steak undercooked. Ate at the Honolulu location and Vegas location prior but this one wasn’t as good.

Super noisey. No table cloths. Overpriced and food quality average. The homeless problem has made the neighborhood challenging to navigate.

We came to send off our daughter to college at Point Loma. Jordyn was our server and made sure everything was perfect. Her suggestions were spot on and had all of us enjoying the most out of our meals!
STK never disappoints.
I have to say this was one of the worst experience I’ve had with STK. We made reservations for 9:15 and we checked in at 9:10 and it was a MESS! We didn’t get seated until 10:15 a whole hour later. That’s after I complained 10 times and asked for the manager. They kept saying 15 minutes and giving us the run around. It was so frustrating so many people were pilled up on top of each other. The service was good our server was amazing but the reservation system sucks!!!!! If you go just expect to wait an hour for your table that you made reservations for. The food was good the place is fun but it sucks that they can’t get it together.
