STIR is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a night out, host clients, or sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters. Located in North Hills, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Our cold bar and kitchen offers fresh oysters from North Carolina and beyond, traditional Mexican and Peruvian ceviche, and classic entrees and specials, all prepared from scratch.

STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation.
The result is a categorically elevated cocktail. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.

We welcome Raleigh to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood from the cold bar, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.

Nice dinner at Stir! We reserved ahead for a Saturday night for a low table and was given a great table in an area that's comparatively well insulated from the noise in the bar area -- much appreciated. The food was good and we spent about 1/3 less than we do on many Saturday nights in Raleigh. It's a busy, fun, loud place -- but they always seem to deliver really good service even with the liveliness of the place. Patrick was our waiter -- he was great. We're glad we went and we're pleased with the quality of the food (we had the grilled pears and cheese appetizer).

I’m usually a big fan of Stir and rarely have any complaints—the food and service are typically top-notch. However, I decided to try something new yesterday and was really disappointed. I ordered the Lobster Crab Cakes Breakfast, and unfortunately, it missed the mark. The food arrived cold, and the crab cakes were extremely mushy, which made the whole dish unappetizing.

Ignacio was and excellent waiter and offered his opinion on some delicious meal choices that were superb. Also the Bullet Old Fashioned- his favorite , did not disappoint. Perfect date night place ❤️❤️

It was my first time at Stir. Service was excellent. Our server, Jasmine, was great and very knowledgeable of the menu. My sister and i dined early, around 5 pm, so the noise level was perfect -not to loud. I was visiting Raleigh from Arizona and will definitely dine at Stir again my next time visiting family.
