The food was okay. Had a couple of apps and 4 different entrees. Specialty drinks were okay. The biggest issue was the awful service and not once did anyone apologize or say “we’ll be right with you”. This started with drinks at the bar before dinner, to hostesses to servers. The manager even noticed that we’d been sitting at our table for about 5 minutes with no contact with anyone and instead of saying something to us, he just called someone on his radio. We ran into some friends at another table that night and they mentioned a similar experience at Stir. There are much better options in Greenville!

Haley was our server and she was great. We went on a Tuesday evening and although early 4:30 there were still several people there. We decided on just apps and a salad to share and everything was great. Food came out in a timely manner, food was good and service was as well. I look forward to going back to try something different.

Service was great!! One person thought their food was elicits which was the salmon and seafood chip salad. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers but the rest of the entrees were disappointing.

We booked this because of the great reviews posted. The food was good though one of our party was disappointed but perhaps she didn’t read the selection description. I had the tuna poke bow. Delicious. The crème brûlée was one of the beat I’ve had. Disappointed they were out of lobster crab cakes. We were really looking forward to those. Oysters were good. Ambiance was good though others commented on great views. The view are of the street and other buildings. Not what I expected. Service was very attentive. Entire staff was super friendly. Very pleasant. Enjoyed the experience and the food.

The lobster and shrimp Mac n cheese was amazing. My whole group loved it.

We dined at Stir for the first time Sunday night before going to the Peace Center to see a play. Our server, Sidney, was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the menu. My husband ordered steak frites and was amazed at the size, quality and taste of the steak. The frites were nothing special. I ordered chicken piccata over vegetables and farro. It was a different pairing for chicken piccata but at Sidney’s recommendation I tried it and was so glad I did. The portion was very generous. The farro and vegetables were a nice change from the pasta that typically accompanies chicken piccata. We also shared a wedge salad that was only average. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is very reasonably priced. Truly a good value for your money.

Loved the vibe, food was good, server was friendly. I think they have their act together but there was food in the window for a bit. They need more urgency in getting plates out. Server needs to be less "rehearsed" when talking about the menu. Be more genuine.

STIR has great potential. The food & bar was great, atmosphere lively, all in a great location. Probably due to being so new, the bar service was incredibly slow. The food service was a bit better. The restaurant seemed to have plenty of kitchen staff, but they seemed to lack coordination. We’ll be back at STIR, but we’ll give it some time to work out the kinks.
