Stinson Vineyards is a family-owned estate winery in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains specializing in small lot wines with a distinct French influence. The father/daughter team of Scott Stinson and Rachel Stinson Vrooman was joined by Rachel's husband Nathan Vrooman in 2015. They take inspiration from "garagiste" wineries of France, in both their winemaking techniques and the winery itself, which is built into an old three car garage. The wines of Stinson Vineyards are enjoying growing critical acclaim, and the winery has become a visitor destination for its fine wines, stunning views, and artisan farm store.

Outdoor Bottle Service reservations are available at no charge through OpenTable.com. Walk-ins will be accomodated as space permits. See our Covid19 Policies for more.
Pickups can be preordered and prepaid (online or via phone at 434.823.7300) and will be available Thursday – Sunday 11am – 5pm.
Local Deliveries are free for 4+ bottles and are available Thursday – Sunday within an approximate 20 mile radius of the Vineyard. Choose the delivery option at checkout.

Such wonderful people run this winery! Great views and amazing wine. Cheeses were excellent as well! Even though it was in the 30s and cloudy when we were there, we had a blast! Fire pits helped a lot. Will be back.

Such a wonderful winery experience during COVID. Felt super safe, beautiful views, staff was so friendly, and the wine and cheese were delicious.

Stopped by Stinson on a 72 degree day in November. Even by COVID standards the crowd was small (less than 10 people spread about the spacious grounds). Staff was very friendly. Wines were a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the Tennat and Cab Franc.

If you are looking for a great afternoon at a vineyard with an amazing view, this is the place to be. It’s smaller than some so much quieter and relaxed than others. They have a rose that I always enjoy on a sunny afternoon.
