Stella's Southern Brasserie - Greenville
Saturday valentines meal was very pricey for steak and frites, the entire menu similar situation.
The server recommended the special. We got it and it was awful. When she asked about it and we told her she said ok I’m sorry but didn’t offer to take it off our bill or replace it.. very overpriced...
Ryan made my first time at Stella’s a wonderful experience! He is a great server!!!
The waitress was great and the food was excellent. The prices are a bit higher than expected. There should have been at least one simple chicken dish I my opinion, but the menu had a wonderful selection otherwise.
Everything was really great. The menu wasn’t mind-boggling in terms of choices, but everything they do makes for a genuinely great meal! The prices may have been boosted just a bit - after all, it was Valentine’s Day. We signed up years ago and, being my birthday month, we shared a free dessert. Bourbon prices were more than reasonable. I think Blanton’s was $13 - the most expensive of the ten good choices, and thy pour a generous single. All in all, our favorite restaurant, since they opened in Simpsonville!
Usually the food is on point but tonight someone had a VERY HEAVY hand on the salt shaker. We got the special crab poutine which was overly salty to the point of being inedible, especially because it also had Old Bay seasoning. The rest of the food was also overly salted but still edible, unlike the poutine. The drinks were good.
Loved it as we always do!
Very enjoyable lunch. Pleasant setting, interesting (limited) menu, attentive server and satisfying meal. Always enjoy. The noise level can be high when busy.
Wow! Food and service were amazing! Manager kept coming by to see if we liked everything and we loved it all! It was our first time there and we will be back for sure!
My dinner was OK. My wife's hamburger was overcooked and the bun was burned.
Staff are always friendly, helpful and efficient. Food is delicious! Highly recommend Saturday/Sunday brunch, especially the quiche du jour.
Outstanding shrimp & grits!!!
Always a great place for a good meal and friendly service!
The burger was very disappointing. The meat was overcooked and the flavors were odd.
We have had numerous good meals and experiences at Stella's, both Simpsonville and Greenville. We love the fact that they present so many gluten free options on their farm to table menu. This was the first time we have been for brunch and loved the variety they had on the menu and the daily specials. With 5 in our group everyone was extremely satisfied. Love Stella's!
I’d love to see more vegan options on the menu, but honestly that vegetable is so good! Some of the best vegetables I’ve had!
I love Stella's they have wonderful food, a great ambience and a friendly staff. I have introduced the restaurant to a few friends and family and they all love it!!
Wonderful food and service, as usual! We enjoyed the French Onion soup and Cobb salads. Our favorite protein was the steak; so much flavor!
I love Stella’s for brunch! The food is amazing and the service is out of this world. It does get very loud because it is always packed so if you are looking for quiet and intimate you might want to ask to be seated in the separate room off the main dining. The coffee and cappuccinos with the house made syrups are so good. The only thing that takes away from the food is that the scrambled eggs seem to be the carton egg product with a weird taste and consistency. If you get eggs, get them over easy or sunny side-you can’t fake those. This is a must dine for brunch in Greenville.
We love Stella’s and have eaten there many times. However, our last experience was not the best. Our food tasted good but our food was barely warm.
Stella’s is always delicious, the service is fantastic and this time was no different.
We love Stella’s! Been here a few times and most recently with my parents who have somewhat stereotypical midwestern (don’t want anything too weird) tastes. Not only did the find plenty of things on the menu that they were interested in but we got the Plougman’s Platter (meat and cheese board) which contained plenty of somewhat ‘weird’ items (grilled pâté and a scallop & saffron sausage to name two) and they were raving about it! I think my dad said it was one of the best appetizers he’s had anywhere!
Service was outstanding, as was all the other food! We’ll keep coming back!
We also took a celiac disease sister here once and gluten free service was great!
We went during Restaurant Week and it was moderately busy on a Wed early evening. The restaurant is lovely, very nice atmosphere. The food was good. The service was not good. Our server seemed to need more training. He interrupted our conversations a few times without saying "excuse me" and his descriptions of the food were juvenile ("it has some grain things in it" and "this spicy sauce swirled around the whole plate, but you don't have to use it if you don't like it"). Our party of three experienced a very long wait time - all of the courses, from appetizer to dessert, took forever to come out and we were there over 2.5 hours. Disappointed, but may try again only because the food was good and the location is so convenient.
Sunday Brunch is outstanding!
Excellent all the way around!
New Year’s Eve dinner. Knew what we wanted & service was grest
My pork chops were very good along with the Lyonnaise salad. However, the shrimp and grits was a bit spicy for my husband. All in all, a good experience.
Stella’s is a go to for our family on most holidays. You can alwYs count on amazing food and great service.
Went with family of 6. Service was outstanding. All food was great except the shrimp and grits. Would return but for some other menu items.
Everything was good. One of our favorite restaurants
Excellent everything, as always
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at Stella’s! It’s definitely our new favorite spot. Kids and adults alike enjoyed everything from the French onion soup to the scallops and Brussel sprouts. Our favorite desserts was the lemon pound cake. Great food, service and atmosphere!
Great atmosphere. Good drinks. The okra appetizer was good. The entrees were average. The food is a fair bit over priced for what you actually get. Not a bad meal but also not memorable.
Sarah was professional and friendly. She definitely knew the menu inside and out and we had an amazing experience with her. Stella's Cuisine is always delicious and the restaurant itself is gorgeous as well!
We has a wonderful meal at Stella's! The food out outstanding. The service was spectacular which is something they is often hard to find now days in a busy world. What a treasure in Greenville!
Good as usual
We love Stella’s for special or casual dining! Interesting menus and specials, warm and friendly.
